Abstract
Description
The present invention includes a feeding unit that sends a recording material to a recording execution area, a recording execution unit that performs desired recording on the recording material sent to the recording execution area, and a recording target upstream of the recording execution unit. The present invention relates to a recording apparatus including a paper dust removing device provided in a material feeding path.
Recording materials (hereinafter also referred to as “paper”) set in a stacked state on a feeding cassette or the like are fed out one by one from the top recording material and passed through the feeding path. To the existing recording execution area.
The paper supplied to the recording execution area is crushed or scraped by a part of the edge or the like of the paper when the paper is cut into a predetermined size or by friction during feeding. appear. When the paper to which the generated paper dust adheres is supplied to the recording execution area, the paper dust may adhere to the nozzle plate of the recording head.
Therefore, an ink jet printer having a paper dust collecting member that collects paper dust by preventing the upward movement of the generated paper dust before the paper is supplied to the recording execution area has been developed. It is disclosed as shown in
However, when the paper dust collecting member having the structure shown in
An object of the present invention is to provide a recording apparatus that can be easily removed at a stage prior to scattering of paper dust or the like adhering to a recording material.
In order to solve the above problems, a recording apparatus according to a first aspect of the present invention includes a feeding unit that sends a recording material to a recording execution area, and performs desired recording on the recording material sent to the recording execution area. A recording execution unit, and a paper dust removal device provided in a path for feeding the recording material upstream from the recording execution unit, the paper powder removal device being fed A scraping member having a scraping action portion that contacts a recording surface of the material and scrapes paper dust or the like adhering to the recording surface; and the scraping action portion on the recording surface of the recording material. A shift mechanism is provided that moves between a scraping position that comes into contact with and a retracted position that is retracted from the recording surface of the recording material.
According to this aspect, paper dust and foreign matter adhering to the recording surface of the recording material can be removed before the recording material is supplied to the recording execution area. In addition, since the scraping action part directly contacts the recording surface of the recording material and removes paper dust and the like, the paper dust and the like adhering to the recording surface including paper dust before scattering is removed. It can be reliably removed. Therefore, paper dust or the like is prevented from adhering to the nozzle plate of the recording head, and the recording execution quality is improved.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the recording apparatus according to the first aspect, the scraping action portion is provided to be rotatable about a rotation axis parallel to the width direction of the recording material, and the shift The mechanism is provided with an arm portion that is provided integrally with the base end portion of the scraping action portion, and a part of which is disposed so as to reach a recording material passing region of the feeding path, The scraping action part moves the scraping action part to the scraping position when the recording material to be fed comes into contact with a part of the arm part and rotates the arm part. In a state in which the recording material does not come into contact with the portion, the arm portion is restored and the scraping action portion is moved to the retracted position.
According to this aspect, the scraping action part is configured so that the recording material to be fed comes into contact with a part of the arm part and rotates the arm part so that the scraping action part is in the scraping position. When the recording material does not come into contact with the arm portion, the arm portion is restored and the scraping action portion is moved to the retracted position.
Therefore, the position of the scraping action part is switched via the arm part that rotates by contacting the recording material passing through the feeding path without requiring any separate power, so the structure is simple and the part An inexpensive paper dust removing device with a small number of points can be realized. Further, since the structure in which the scraping action part is brought into contact with the recording surface of the recording material by utilizing the reaction of the rotation of the arm part, the removal efficiency of paper dust and the like is improved.
Here, in the recording apparatus according to the first aspect, the shift mechanism is configured to remove the scraping based on paper type setting information by a user input or paper type detection information by a paper type detection sensor, instead of a structure having an arm portion. It may be configured to individually switch the scraping position and the retracted position of the action unit according to the type of the recording material.
With this configuration, the scraping operation unit is not uniformly applied to all the recording materials, but based on the paper type setting information by the user input or the paper type detection information by the paper type detection sensor, for example, If the paper type is photographic paper, glossy paper, OHP sheet, etc., or the resolution of image data to be recorded is high, selective use such as leaving the scraping action part in the retracted position Form becomes possible. Therefore, it is possible to reduce damage to the recording surface of the recording material.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the recording apparatus according to the first aspect or the second aspect, the scraping member is always positioned at the retracted position by the biasing force of the biasing member. It is characterized by being urged to do so.
According to this aspect, except for the case where the shift mechanism operates to move the scraping action portion to the scraping position, the scraping action portion is always located at the retracted position. Therefore, the leading end portion of the recording material supplied to the feeding path does not collide with the scraping action portion to cause a conveyance failure such as a paper jam.
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the recording apparatus according to any one of the first to third aspects, the scraping member is the scraping member itself or the weight of the arm portion. The take-up action portion is always configured to be located at the retracted position.
According to this aspect, since the scraping action portion can be always located at the retracted position without using the biasing member, the number of parts can be reduced by simplifying the structure of the shift mechanism and effectively using the parts. Can be reduced.
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, in the recording apparatus according to any one of the first to fourth aspects, the scraping member is paper dust or the like scraped by the scraping action member. It is provided in the position which falls outside the said path | route for feeding.
According to this aspect, the paper dust and the like scraped off by the scraping action part falls naturally without reattaching to the recording surface of the recording material, so that the scraping is performed without providing a separate cleaning mechanism. The working part can always be kept clean. Therefore, the maintenance of the scraping action part is facilitated, and stable scraping performance can be exhibited for a long time.
According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, in the recording apparatus according to any one of the first to fifth aspects, the scraping action portion has a maximum recording width of a recording material assumed to be used. It is characterized by being arranged over.
According to this aspect, the scraping action unit can cope with recording materials of all sizes assumed to be used, and paper dust and the like in all areas attached to the recording surface of the recording material. Can be removed without leakage.
According to a seventh aspect of the present invention, in the paper dust removing apparatus according to any one of the first to sixth aspects, the scraping operation unit is configured to record each recording material to be used. It is characterized by being disposed at at least both ends of the width.
According to this aspect, the scraping action portion is disposed at least at both ends in the recording width direction of the recording material having a large amount of paper dust or the like generated. Therefore, paper dust and the like can be effectively removed with a small contact area. Further, as the contact area becomes smaller, the conveyance resistance for conveying the recording material can be reduced, and the recording material can be conveyed with high accuracy.
Hereinafter, a recording apparatus according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings by taking the following examples as examples. First, taking the

[Example 1] (See FIGS. 1 to 7)
In this embodiment, the paper
The paper dust A includes foreign matters such as dust, dust, and dust in addition to paper dust generated when the paper P is cut or scraped by friction or the like.
In this embodiment, the scraping
Further, the
Further, in this embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, one end of a biasing
The biasing
In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 6, the scraping
Further, as a material for forming the scraping
Next, the operation mode of the paper
(1) When in the retracted position (see FIG. 2)
The

[Example 2] (FIGS. 4 and 5)
Next, Example 2 will be described. The second embodiment is a modification in which the arrangement of the paper
4 and 5, the paper
[Example 3] (FIG. 7)
Next, Example 3 will be described. The scraping
FIG. 7 discloses a modified example in which three sets of scraping

When the
As shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, at least a part of the

Further, like the paper
