Abstract

Claims (10)
- 部品(10)上に皮膜系を形成する方法であって、
部品(10)の表面領域(12,16,18)の上にそれと接する厚さ30μm以下の前駆体プライマー層であって、主成分を有する第1のセラミック材料の前駆体及び約20〜約100nmのメジアン粒径を有する第1のセラミック材料の粒子の分散物を含む前駆体プライマー層を形成し、
前駆体プライマー層の上にそれと接する少なくとも1つの前駆体コーティング層であって、前駆体プライマー層よりも大きな厚さを有し、第1のセラミック材料と同じ主成分を有する第2のセラミック材料の前駆体及び第2のセラミック材料の粒子の分散物を含む前駆体コーティング層を形成し、次いで
前駆体プライマー層及び前駆体コーティング層を加熱して、上記前駆体プライマー層から、30μm以下の厚さを有し、第1のセラミック材料のマトリックス中の第1のセラミック材料の粒子からなるセラミック膜(20)を形成するとともに、上記前駆体コーティング層から、上記セラミック膜(20)よりも大きな厚さを有し、第2のセラミック材料のマトリックス中の第2のセラミック材料の粒子からなるセラミック皮膜層(14)を形成することを特徴とする方法 - 前駆体プライマー層及び前駆体コーティング層の少なくとも1つを、コロイド又はスラリーの塗工によって形成する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前駆体コーティング層を、ゾル−ゲルの塗工によって形成する、請求項1又は請求項2記載の方法。
- 第1及び第2のセラミック材料がイットリアで安定化されたジルコニアを含む、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- さらに、複数の追加の前駆体層を前駆体コーティング層上に形成することを含んでおり、追加の前駆体層が前駆体コーティング層より大きい合計厚さを有し、第2のセラミック材料の前駆体及び第2のセラミック材料の粒子の分散物を含んでおり、加熱工程により前記追加の前駆体層が本質的に第2のセラミック材料からなる追加のセラミック層(14)を形成し、セラミック皮膜層(14)及び追加のセラミック層(14)の合計厚さが少なくとも200μmである、請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 部品(10)上の表面領域(12,16,18)が部品(10)上の金属ボンドコート(16)からなる、請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 表面領域(12,16,18)がさらに酸化物スケール(18)を含んでおり、酸化物スケール(18)の上にそれと接する前駆体プライマー層を設ける、請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 酸化物スケール(18)がアルミナを含む、請求項7記載の方法。
- 部品(10)がニッケル基又はコバルト基超合金から形成されたガスタービンエンジン部品(10)である、請求項1乃至請求項8のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 請求項1乃至請求項9のいずれか1項記載の方法によって形成される皮膜系。
