Description
Claims (22)
- カテーテル端を医療器具の軸部上に確実に固定するためのカテーテル固定要素であって、前記軸部は、該軸部に沿って少なくとも1つの突起を有し、該突起が、カテーテル端部が突起上を通過した後にカテーテル端部を捕らえることができるように、カテーテル内腔の内径よりも大きな予め選択された最大直径を有する、カテーテル固定要素において、
基端及び先端を有する固定スリーブを備え、該固定スリーブは、予め選択された直径を有して内部を延びるチャネルを形成し、少なくともカテーテルが前記軸部上かつ該軸部の周りに付勢されたときに、カテーテルがチャネル内を延びることと、
前記スリーブは、前記チャネルに沿った圧縮表面を有し、該圧縮表面が前記少なくとも1つの突起から軸方向基端側にずれるように前記カテーテル端部が配置された軸部の周りにスリーブが配置されるときに、前記圧縮表面が前記選択されたチャネル直径よりも小さな直径を有することと
を含む、カテーテル固定要素。 - 前記圧縮表面の直径が、突起の最大直径よりわずかに大きい、請求項1に記載の固定要素。
- 前記圧縮表面の直径が、前記突起の最大直径より約0.114mm(約0.0045インチ)大きい、請求項2に記載の固定要素。
- 前記固定スリーブの外縁が丸みを帯びる、請求項1に記載の固定要素。
- 前記圧縮スリーブの先端が急な傾斜をなす、請求項1に記載の固定要素。
- 前記固定スリーブが剛性の高い弾性材料である、請求項1に記載の固定要素。
- 前記固定スリーブが、その基端近傍において、前記軸部の対応する停止表面に当接するように停止表面を備え、前記スリーブが前記軸部上に完全に嵌め込まれると、前記軸部の最も基端側の突起に対して前記圧縮表面を所望される軸方向位置に確実に配置する、請求項1に記載の固定要素。
- 前記スリーブの基端が、対応する軸部大径部を受け入れるチャネル大径部を備え、前記軸部の対応する停止表面が軸部大径部の先端に位置し、前記チャネル大径部の先端において前記停止表面に当接する、請求項7に記載の固定要素。
- 前記停止表面が先端方向に角度をなすとともに丸みを帯びており、よって、スリーブを軸部上に嵌め込むことを容易にし、かつ該嵌合中にカテーテルに外傷を与えない、請求項7に記載の固定要素。
- 前記角度をなすとともに丸みを帯びた停止表面が、前記圧縮表面の基端に隣接する、請求項9に記載の固定要素。
- 医療器具およびカテーテル基端のアセンブリであって、
内部に通路を備えた軸部を有する医療器具と、
内部に少なくとも1つの内腔を有し、かつ基端まで延びる基端部を有するカテーテルと、
先端及び基端、ならびにこれらを通るチャネルを有する固定要素と
を備え、前記固定要素は、前記チャネルの残りの部分よりも小径であるチャネル部分に沿って圧縮表面を備えることと、
前記医療器具の軸部は、該軸部から径方向外側へと、前記基端部におけるカテーテルの内径よりも大きな最大外径まで延びる少なくとも1つの突起を有し、前記軸部は、前記少なくとも1つの突起の基端側において小径セクションを有することと、
前記固定要素は、前記カテーテル基端部が前記軸部上に、さらに前記少なくとも1つの突起を越えて、そして前記軸部の小径セクションに沿って付勢された後に、カテーテルに沿って、かつカテーテル基端部上に移動可能に構成され、前記固定要素の圧縮表面が、該固定要素が完全に軸部上に嵌め込まれたときに、軸部小径セクション上に配置されたカテーテル端部を押圧することと
を備えるアセンブリ。 - 前記少なくとも1つの突起が丸みを帯びる、請求項11に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記軸部が2つの突起を有する、請求項11に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記圧縮表面の直径が、前記突起の最大直径よりわずかに大きい、請求項11に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記圧縮表面の直径が、前記突起の最大直径よりも約0.114mm(約0.0045インチ)大きい、請求項14に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記固定要素の外縁が丸みを帯びる、請求項11に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記圧縮スリーブの先端が急な傾斜をなす、請求項11に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記固定要素が剛性の高い弾性材料である、請求項11に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記固定要素が、前記軸部の対応する停止表面に当接するように、前記要素の基端近傍において停止表面を備え、これにより、前記固定要素が完全に軸部上に嵌め込まれると、前記軸部の最も基端側の突起に対して前記圧縮表面を所望される軸方向位置に確実に配置する、請求項11に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記固定要素の基端が、軸部の対応する大径部を受け入れるためにチャネル大径部を備え、前記軸部の対応する停止表面が、軸部大径部の先端に位置して、前記チャネル大径部の先端において前記停止表面に当接する、請求項19に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記停止表面が先端方向に角度をなすとともに丸みを帯びており、これにより固定要素を前記軸部上へ嵌め込むことを容易にし、かつ、該嵌合中にカテーテルに外傷を与えない、請求項11に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記角度をなすとともに丸みを帯びた停止表面が前記圧縮表面の基端近傍に位置する、請求項11に記載のアセンブリ。
