Description

The present invention has a container wall, a container bottom and a container opening, the container wall extending in a substantially conical shape from the container bottom to the container opening, and axially disposed along the periphery of the inner surface of the container wall. The present invention relates to a container provided with an extending stacking rib.

The purpose of the stacking rib located on the inner surface of the container wall is to allow the upper container to be placed in the lower container so that the two conical container walls do not stick together when the containers are stacked on top of each other. Allowing each container to be supported. Being supported by the stacking ribs, there remains a slight clearance between the two container walls, which allows easy separation of the stacked containers. The container supported by the stacking rib is in such a manner that the edge region of the container opening of each upper container to which the fixing device for the transport strap is attached is located outside the container opening of each lower container. Are arranged inside each other.

When handling and transporting such containers stacked on top of each other, the position of the containers supported by the stacking ribs can become unstable.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a container of the type described in the opening paragraph, which improves the stability of the position of the containers stacked on top of each other.

According to the invention, this object is related to a container of the kind mentioned in the opening paragraph, wherein the outer area of the outer surface of the container bottom has at least one recess and the containers are stacked together. At least one stacking rib of another container located underneath can engage the at least one recess so that each container can be secured in place against rotation relative to each other Can be solved by.

As a result of this design, when a plurality of containers of this type are stacked, the respective upper container is held against rotation on the stacking rib of the respective lower container. Further, the containers stacked on each other can be arranged and held at predetermined positions with respect to each other. This assures a very stable position during handling or transport of containers stacked on top of each other.

The axial height from the container bottom of at least one of these stacking ribs can be larger than the remaining stacking ribs, and in this case, the height of the remaining stacking ribs can be increased. The difference corresponds at least to the depth of the recess formed in the outer surface of the container bottom.

In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, a substantially continuous leg projecting in the axial direction is formed in a radially outer region of the outer surface of the container bottom, and a recess in the container bottom is formed at a predetermined position on the circumference of the leg. An interrupting part was formed.

Said at least one interruption of the continuous leg on the lower surface of the container bottom allows a particularly simple production of a recess formed in the container bottom so as to engage with at least one stacking rib.

However, the recess (es) can also be appropriately shaped parts of the edge region of the container bottom that open towards the lower surface and preferably open further radially outward. Similarly, at the bottom of the container, one or more upper ends of the stacking ribs, i.e. the end facing the container opening, engage between them and prevent them from rotating about the axis of the container. It is also possible to arrange a web or protrusion to be held.

The width of the recess in the circumferential direction of the container bottom may be slightly larger than the width of the stacking rib in the circumferential direction of the container wall so that a predetermined gap remains between the upper end of the stacking rib and the wall of the recess. it can.

On the other hand, in order to obtain a predetermined tightening effect between the upper end of the stacking rib and the wall region of the recess, the width of the recess can be made slightly smaller than the width of the stacking rib. In this case, the stacked containers can be separated from each other only by overcoming the predetermined clamping force.

The stacking rib located on the inner surface of the container wall can be integrally formed on the container wall, for example by injection molding in an injection mold, and has a geometric shape suitable for molding the container and removing it from the mold. Can be formed. The stacking rib preferably extends from the container bottom.

The height of the stacking rib, that is, the length of the stacking rib from the container bottom is appropriately determined so that the container walls of the containers stacked on each other do not stick. A slight gap remains between the container walls, allowing the stacked containers to align with each other in a predetermined direction. Due to this arrangement of stacking ribs, the interaction between the recesses at the bottom of the container and the stacking ribs, the required orientation of the stacked containers can be defined, and the non-rotating engagement of the stacking ribs within the recesses allows the container to This orientation can be maintained during handling or transportation.

On the other hand, the stacking ribs can also have the same length, and in this context, the outer surface of the container bottom is engaged by a plurality of stacking ribs of the container located underneath when the containers are stacked on top of each other. A recess is provided, in which case at least one recess secures the container in place so that it does not rotate relative to each other by the engagement of at least one stacking rib within said recess.

Specifically, the outer surface of the container bottom can be provided with a recess arranged along the periphery so as to fit the stacking rib, and in each case the stacking rib of the underlying container engages the recess. Thus, the container can be fixed in place so that it does not rotate about the axis of the container.

In order to ensure sufficient stability when supporting a number of containers stacked on top of each other and their resistance to rotation with respect to each other, the stacking ribs are 1 to 3 times the wall thickness of the containers in that area. The radial extension from the container wall corresponding to is shown. This radial extension preferably corresponds to 1 to 2 times the thickness of the container edge.

The outer wall of the container preferably does not have a continuous flange. The outer wall of the container is substantially smooth and / or free of protrusions, except for a holding strap holding area that protrudes radially outward as required and a corresponding area for connection to the container wall; And / or is preferably designed not to include undercuts.

Next, two embodiments of the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the drawings. The figure is as follows.

The longitudinal cross-sectional view of one Example of a container. The enlarged view of the area | region A of FIG. FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the container shown in FIG. 1 with a lid removed. FIG. 4 is a perspective / cutaway view of the container shown in FIG. 3. FIG. 5 is a cutaway view of the container according to FIGS. 1 to 4 stacked on top of each other. The enlarged view seen from the bottom of the container of the other Example of a container. BB sectional drawing of FIG.

1 to 4 show an embodiment of a container 1 having a container wall 2, a container bottom 3 and a container opening 4. The container wall 2 extends substantially conically from the container bottom 3 to the container opening 4. On the inner surface of the container wall 2, an axially extending stacking rib 5 disposed along the periphery of the container wall 2 is formed. This container is made of plastic and is manufactured by injection molding together with stacking ribs 5 formed integrally with the inner surface of the container. The purpose of the stacking rib 5 is that the conical container wall 2 of the two containers 1 does not stick to the stack of the plurality of containers 1 before the lid 6 is put on each container located in the container 1. So that it can be supported. Since each container 1 is supported by the stacking rib 5, a slight gap is generated between the container walls 2 so that the two containers 1 stacked on each other can be easily separated from each other.

In order to be able to fix the container 1 stacked in the container 1 in place so as not to rotate with respect to the container 1, a radially outer region of the outer surface of the container bottom 3 is provided with a recess, The ends facing the container opening 4 of the stacking ribs 5 of the container 1 arranged below and outside engage these recesses and thus secure the container 1 in place so that it does not rotate relative to each other. .

In the embodiment depicted in FIGS. 1 to 4, these recesses are designed as interruptions 7 of the foot 8 projecting axially in a region radially outward of the outer surface of the container bottom 3. As can be seen in particular in FIGS. 3 and 4, the legs 8 extend annularly around the entire circumference of the container bottom 3.

When stacking a plurality of containers 1 to which the lid 6 is attached, the legs 8 can also be configured such that the containers 1 stacked together with the lid 6 are fixed in place relative to each other in the radial direction and slide on each other. As such, it can engage with a corresponding axial recess (see FIG. 1) in the edge region 9 of the underlying container lid 6.

These recesses designed as interruptions 7 of the annular leg 8 are arranged along the periphery of the container bottom 3 so as to fit the stacking rib 5. In this embodiment, four stacking ribs 5 and thus four interruptions 7 of the legs 8 are formed, which are arranged at a 90 ° angle with respect to the nearest adjacent stacking ribs 5 or interruptions 7.

FIG. 5 shows a cutaway view of two containers according to FIGS. 1 to 4 stacked on top of each other. In this context, the container bottom 3 of the upper container 1 in the figure is seated on the upper edge of the stacking rib 5. If a gap remains between the container walls 2 of the two containers 1 stacked on top of each other and the positions of these containers are centered, this gap can completely surround the inner container. The same is true when stacking containers based on the embodiments described below. Generally speaking, even in this case, a lateral gap can remain between the container walls 2 of the containers stacked on top of each other. The stacking web can also engage the recesses such that there are lateral and / or radial gaps in the region of the recesses 10 to prevent the containers from sticking and stuck in the stacked state. This may be true regardless of this embodiment.

Figures 6 and 7 show another embodiment in which the stacked containers 1 can be fixed in place so as not to rotate. In this case, the radially outer surface of the container bottom 3 shows a recess 10 arranged on the periphery designed as a local region molded inside the container bottom 3. In each case, the upper edge of the stacking rib 5 of the stacked containers 1 engages with the recess 10. As can be seen from FIG. 6, the recess 10 is open toward the lower surface and radially outward of the container bottom 3.
