Abstract
Description
図2は、本発明の一実施形態による、内部組織孔の閉鎖を容易にするよう構成された医療システム100の斜視図である。示す実施形態では、医療システム100は、内部組織孔の寸法を減少させるようになっている閉塞器具200と、内部組織孔に対して閉塞器具200の設置および展開を容易にするようになっている送出デバイス300とを備える。本発明の医療システム100は、複数の利益を提供することができる。たとえば、医療システム100は、内部組織孔の異なる寸法、形状、およびタイプと共に使用されるよう構成されることができる。さらに、医療システム100は、閉塞器具200を位置決めすることの安全性および効率を増すための種々の安全対策を提供することができる。さらに、医療システム100は、内部組織孔の組織に対して分散した側方向力を提供するよう構成されることができる。
図3Aを参照すると、閉塞器具200は、完全に展開し、拡張し、弛緩した、または、拘束されない配置で示される。本発明の一実施形態によれば、閉塞器具200は、内部組織孔の寸法を減少させ、内部組織孔を閉じるよう構成されることができる。一実施形態では、閉塞器具200は、PFO内の通路組織などの、内部組織孔の組織を、近づける、すなわち換言すれば、寄せ合わせることによって、内部組織孔の寸法を減少させることができる。本明細書で後でより完全に説明されるように、閉塞器具200は、内部組織孔の組織に側方向力を加えることによって、組織を近づけることができる。同様に、閉塞器具200は、内部組織孔内への閉塞器具200の位置決め中および位置決め後に、閉塞器具200の位置および/または向きを、使用者が推定することを可能にするよう構成されることができる。
図4は、送出デバイス300の一実施形態を示す。図示の実施形態において、送出アセンブリ360は、送出部分366を有するカテーテル362、および、カテーテル362によって少なくとも部分的に収容された複数のテザー364を含む。テザー364は、送出デバイス300からの閉塞器具200の選択的な切離しを容易にするよう構成可能である。送出部分366は、送出部分366内に閉塞器具200を受取るよう構成可能である。カテーテル362は、作動アセンブリ320に結合されることができるため、作動アセンブリ320の動きは、カテーテル362の動きを引き起こすことができる。

- 組織構造内にて少なくとも部分的に展開可能な拡張式医療装置であって、
非展開の配向から展開するように構成された非管状の多セル本体部であって、少なくとも2つの開口を形成する複数の相互連結の本体支持区分を備える多セル本体部と、
前記多セル本体部に連結された少なくとも1つのアンカーとを備える展開可能な医療装置。 - 前記本体部は、ほぼ平坦な構造体を呈するように構成される請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記本体部は、3つ以上のセルからなる請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記本体部は、前記組織構造の組織に対して側方向の力を作用させるように構成される請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記本体支持区分の少なくとも1つは、前記少なくとも1つの本体支持区分の長さの少なくとも一部に沿って変化する幅を有する請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記本体部と協働する少なくとも1つの第2アンカーを更に備える請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記本体部と協働するとともに、組織の成長を促進するように構成された部材を更に備える請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 組織構造内に少なくとも部分的に展開可能な拡張式医療装置であって、
ほぼ平坦な構造体を呈するように構成されたフレームであって、第1の配向と第2の配向との間で移行するように調整された中央部を有するフレームを備え、
