Abstract
【解決手段】インタークーラ6の冷却外気の各入口部の断面形状を冷却外気が流れる方向に向かって連続的に順次狭くなるようなノズル形状に形成した。このノズル形状は、インタークーラ6の冷却外気の入口側の各コア6dの側面にノイズ形成部材6g1を接合することにより形成されている。このようにインタークーラ6の冷却外気の各入口部の断面形状をノズル形状とすることにより、インタークーラ6に流れる冷却外気の温度を下げることができるので、コア6d内に流れる吸気ガスの冷却効果を向上させることができる。

また、h1−h2=cp(T1−T2)となるので、(w22−w12)/2=cp(T1−T2)となる。
これを変形して、T1−T2=(w22−w12)/(2×cp)
すなわち、T2=T1−(w22−w12)/(2×cp)となる。
ここで、ノズルで流速が増すため、w2>w1となるので、T2<T1となる。
すなわち、ノズル状の入口部を通過することで流体(この場合は外気)の温度が下がる。

Claims (3)
- インタークーラ本体に、複数の吸気管と、前記複数の吸気管の各々の隣接間に設けられた外気流通路とを備えるインタークーラにおいて、前記インタークーラ本体の前記外気流通路に繋がる外気の入口部の断面形状を、前記外気が流れる方向に向かって連続的に順次狭くなるように形成したインタークーラ。
- 前記外気の入口部の断面形状を、前記複数の吸気管の各々に接合された別部材によって形成したインタークーラ。
- 請求項1または2に記載のインタークーラを、内燃機関本体に接続された過給機の圧縮機の出口と、前記内燃機関本体に接続された吸気管との間に接続した内燃機関。
