Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a metal material welding apparatus, and more particularly to an apparatus for seam welding stacked workpieces.
12A to 12D show four types of seam welding methods, which are frequently used in general steel plate welding. In the figure, 104 is a pair of roller electrodes, 106 is a joint part (or called a welded part) indicated by a dotted line, and 109 is a workpiece. FIG. 12A shows a case where a small diameter pipe is inserted into a large diameter pipe and the fitting portion is seam welded in the circumferential direction. FIG. 12B shows a state where the steel plates are bent into a cylindrical shape, end surfaces in the circumferential direction are overlapped, and the overlapped surface is seam welded. FIG. 12C shows a state where the long edges of the steel plates are overlapped and seam welded. FIG. 12 (D) shows a state where the end edges of the steel plates are overlapped and seam welded. Thus, seam welding is used to weld steel plates of various shapes.

Mash seam welding is capable of high-speed welding, but is not suitable when the thickness difference or strength difference of the
In seam welding such as lap seam welding and mash seam welding, the presence of an unwelded portion that occurs at the weld is a drawback. Since a bending moment is generated in the unwelded portion and stress is concentrated in the overlapped portion, there is a possibility that a crack develops. Therefore, seam welding is not suitable for an important part and its use is limited.
Therefore, the conventional mash seam welding has a problem that the stress is concentrated on the overlapping portion of the workpieces, so that the welded workpiece is weak in fatigue strength.
In recent years, high-strength steel plates have been used for automobile steel plates due to weight reduction and improved collision safety. However, when mash seam welding is performed on high-strength steel plates, the joints (welded parts) are hardened and cannot be welded. There was a problem. That is, since the high-tensile steel plate has a large amount of carbon, it is baked and welding strength cannot be obtained. For this reason, the predetermined weld strength which breaks at the welded portion where the mash seam is welded and becomes a so-called base material fracture cannot be obtained.
The present invention has been devised in view of the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a metal material welding apparatus capable of eliminating an unwelded portion in seam welding of an overlapping portion of workpieces.

According to the present invention, with a simple apparatus configuration, a high frequency power supply is superimposed on a low frequency power supply in a roller electrode of a metal welding apparatus, and the inside and outer periphery of the roller electrode can be heated through the same electrode, It is possible to provide a metal material welding apparatus that can eliminate an unwelded portion generated on the outer periphery of a conventional seam welded nugget.

The

On the other hand, the capacitive reactance X C (X C = 1 / (2πf L C)) due to the capacitor 7 (C) becomes a large value at a low frequency (f L ). Therefore, current leakage to the high-
一方、高周波数では、インダクタンス5による誘導性リアクタンスXL(XL=2πfHL、ここで、fHは高周波電源8の周波数である。)

δ=503.3×(ρ/(μ×f))1/2 (m) (1)
(Skin thickness)
The skin thickness (δ) is expressed by the following formula (1).
δ = 503.3 × (ρ / (μ × f)) 1/2 (m) (1)
Here, ρ is the resistivity (Ω · m) of the material, μ is the relative permeability of the material, and f is the frequency (Hz). The variable ρ is a function of material temperature, and μ is a function of temperature and magnetic field strength.
Since the skin thickness changes with the power of -1/2, the lower the frequency, the thicker the same material, and the thinner the higher the frequency. In general, since the power source for mash seam welding is 50 Hz or 60 Hz, if the thickness in the welding direction is about 6 mm, the current flows through the
When a high-frequency current is applied to a conductor (here,

In determining the power supply frequency, it is necessary to determine the variable of the above formula (1). What is most necessary at this time is the temperature rise value of the temperature rise portion.
In this embodiment, it has the function of preheating heating and main heating at a high frequency, the temperature rise value of preheating heating is around 300 ° C., and the main heating is around 700 ° C. The power frequency differs depending on whether preheating or main heating is the main function of the high frequency, but when heating the

According to the present invention, by connecting the high-
According to the
In addition, since a heating uses a high frequency with a low frequency or direct current | flow and an equivalent effect is acquired, unless it refuses in particular, it demonstrates as 2 frequencies.
Furthermore, it is possible to reduce the factor that the welding strength varies and eliminate the need for measures against rust at the unwelded portion.
According to the
In conventional mash seam welding, when the workpiece is hard and the elongation is small, the accuracy of the welding dimension cannot be ensured. Therefore, the workpiece clamping mechanism is made large and the welding dimension is secured by force.

In conventional mash seam welding, the roller electrode is pressed to perform mash seam welding. However, if the pressure for pressing is reduced, the accuracy of the welding itself and the welding dimensions cannot be ensured. According to the metal
According to the
In conventional mash seam welding, with the progress of mash seam welding, displacement between workpieces, for example, plate displacement occurs when the workpiece is a plate material. In order to prevent this, mash seam welding was performed by pressing the roller electrode.
According to the metal
In the conventional mash seam welding, it is difficult to obtain the accuracy of setting the workpiece and it is necessary to increase the pressure applied to the workpiece in order to prevent the plate displacement of the workpiece. However, according to the metal
In conventional mash seam welding, a portion that cannot be welded to the tip of the workpiece overlapped is generated, causing a reduction in welding strength. For this reason, a method for dynamically changing the pressure applied to the roller electrode during mash seam welding and optimizing it has also been studied, but due to variations in workpiece alignment accuracy, it is difficult to respond to mass production. Met. According to the metal

In FIG. 8 and FIGS. 9 to 11 to be described later, the

According to the

According to the
