【課題】アンテナ背面方向から反射鏡の外面を伝わってきた電磁波が反射鏡の正面に回り込むことを低コストで防止したアンテナ装置、レドーム及び不要放射波防止方法を提供する。
【解決手段】放射器１４と、放射器１４から放射された電磁波を所定の方向へ反射する反射板１２と、該反射板の周縁に設けられたシュラウド１３とを有するアンテナ本体と、反射板１２の開口面と略同一形状の平面部１１ａとそれを取り囲む側壁部１１ｂとがキャップ状を呈し、アンテナ本体をシュラウド１３側から被さるように覆うレドーム１１とを有し、レドーム１１のアンテナ本体と対向する側には、平面部１１ａと側壁部１１ｂとの境界をまたぐように電磁波吸収体２０が設置されており、電磁波吸収体２０が、シュラウド１３の端部と当接する。

Description
本発明は、背面方向の放射特性に優れたアンテナ装置並びにアンテナ背面方向への放射特性を向上させるレドーム及び不要放射波防止方法に関する。
近年、アンテナ装置には、優れた放射特性が強く求められている。
図４〜図７に、本発明に関連するシート状のレドーム１を使用した開口面アンテナの構成を示す。この開口面アンテナは、放射器４から発せられた電磁波を正面方向に反射する反射鏡２を備えている。反射鏡２の周縁にはシュラウド３が設けられている。シート状のレドーム１は、シュラウド３を正面側から被さるように覆っており、シュラウド３の外壁に設置された取付金具７に取付ボルト５及びナット８で固定されている。
このような構造のアンテナ装置においては、反射板支持部材６を設置するための開口部を反射鏡２の中央部に設ける必要がある。従って、放射器４から発せられた電磁波の一部は、アンテナ装置の背面方向へも放射される。
背面方向へ放射される電磁波の一部は、図８に示すように、反射鏡２の背面側及びシュラウド３の外壁を伝って伝播し、シュラウド３の端部から回り込んで反射鏡２の正面側まで到達する。
これにより、アンテナ背面方向のエネルギーがアンテナ放射方向のエネルギーとして検出され、アンテナ背面方向の放射パターンを劣化させている。
開口面アンテナの放射特性の改善をすることに関連する技術として、特許文献１に開示される「開口面アンテナ」がある。特許文献１に開示される発明は、レドーム端部のフランジを導電材料又は電磁波吸収体で覆うことにより、レドーム端部のフランジから放射される不要放射波を低減するものである。
しかし、特許文献１に開示される構造では、アンテナ背面方向から反射鏡を伝わってきた電磁波は、フランジ部分の隙間から反射鏡内面側に回り込んでしまう。
すなわち、特許文献１に開示される発明は、アンテナの正面側に放射されたエネルギーの一部がレドーム内部を伝わってレドーム端のフランジから不要放射波として放射されることを防ぐことを目的としたものであり、アンテナ背面方向から反射鏡の外面を伝わってきた電磁波が反射鏡の正面に回り込むことを防止することを目的とはしていない。
すなわち、特許文献１に開示される発明は、アンテナの正面側に放射されたエネルギーの一部がレドーム内部を伝わってレドーム端のフランジから不要放射波として放射されることを防ぐことを目的としたものであり、アンテナ背面方向から反射鏡の外面を伝わってきた電磁波が反射鏡の正面に回り込むことを防止することを目的とはしていない。
また、特許文献１に開示される構造では、フランジを備えたドーム状のレドームのフランジを電磁波吸収体等で覆うため、加工が容易ではなく、レドームの製造コストが高くなってしまう。
本発明は係る問題に鑑みてなされたものであり、アンテナ背面方向から反射鏡の外面を伝わってきた電磁波が反射鏡の正面に回り込むことを低コストで防止したアンテナ装置、レドーム及び不要放射波防止方法を提供することを目的とする。
上記目的を達成するため、本発明は、第１の態様として、放射器と、放射器から放射された電磁波を所定の方向へ反射する反射板と、該反射板の周縁に設けられたシュラウドとを有する開口面アンテナに装着されるレドームであって、反射板の開口面と略同一形状の平面部とそれを取り囲む側壁部とがキャップ状を呈し、開口面アンテナと対向する側には、平面部と側壁部との境界をまたぐように電磁波吸収体が設置されることを特徴とするレドームを提供するものである。
また、上記目的を達成するため、本発明は、第２の態様として、放射器と、放射器から放射された電磁波を所定の方向へ反射する反射板と、該反射板の周縁に設けられたシュラウドとを有するアンテナ本体と、反射板の開口面と略同一形状の平面部とそれを取り囲む側壁部とがキャップ状を呈し、アンテナ本体をシュラウド側から被さるように覆うレドームとを有し、レドームのアンテナ本体と対向する側には、平面部と側壁部との境界をまたぐように電磁波吸収体が設置されており、電磁波吸収体が、シュラウドの端部と当接することを特徴とするアンテナ装置を提供するものである。
また、上記目的を達成するため、本発明は、第３の態様として、放射器と、放射器から放射された電磁波を所定の方向へ反射する反射板と、該反射板の周縁に設けられたシュラウドとを有するアンテナ本体を、反射板の開口面と略同一形状の平面部とそれを取り囲む側壁部とがキャップ状を呈し、アンテナ本体と対向する側には平面部と側壁部との境界をまたぐように電磁波吸収体が設置されたレドームをシュラウド側から被せて覆い、各電磁波吸収体を、シュラウドの端部と当接させることを特徴とする不要放射波防止方法を提供するものである。
本発明によれば、アンテナ背面方向から反射鏡の外面を伝わってきた電磁波が反射鏡の正面に回り込むことを低コストで防止したアンテナ装置、レドーム及び不要放射波防止方法を提供できる。
本発明の好適な実施の形態について説明する。
図１、図２に、本実施形態に係るアンテナ装置の構成を示す。このアンテナ装置は、放射器１４から発せられた電磁波を正面方向に反射する反射鏡１２を備えている。反射鏡１２の周縁にはシュラウド１３が設けられている。
シート状のレドーム１１は、周縁部が折り重ねられて平面部１１ａと側壁部１１ｂとからなる略円形のキャップ状となっている。レドーム１１の側壁部１１ｂには複数のポケット１９が設けられており、平面部１１ａを取り囲んでいる。レドーム１１は、シュラウド１３を正面側から覆うように、シュラウド１３の外壁に設置された取付金具１７に取付ボルト１５及びナット１８で固定される。
図１、図２に、本実施形態に係るアンテナ装置の構成を示す。このアンテナ装置は、放射器１４から発せられた電磁波を正面方向に反射する反射鏡１２を備えている。反射鏡１２の周縁にはシュラウド１３が設けられている。
シート状のレドーム１１は、周縁部が折り重ねられて平面部１１ａと側壁部１１ｂとからなる略円形のキャップ状となっている。レドーム１１の側壁部１１ｂには複数のポケット１９が設けられており、平面部１１ａを取り囲んでいる。レドーム１１は、シュラウド１３を正面側から覆うように、シュラウド１３の外壁に設置された取付金具１７に取付ボルト１５及びナット１８で固定される。
各ポケット１９には電磁波吸収体２０が収容される。各ポケット１９に収容された電磁波吸収体２０は、一部がポケット１９からはみ出ている。
ポケット１９に電磁波吸収体２０を収容したレドーム１１をシュラウド１３に被せると、ポケット１９からはみ出た電磁波吸収体２０がシュラウド１３の端部に当接する。これにより、図３に示すように、シュラウド１３の端部と電磁波吸収体２０とが接触して配置された状態となる。
図３に示す状態では、反射鏡１２の背面側及びシュラウド１３の外壁を伝って伝播してきた電磁波が電磁波吸収体２０で減衰され、シュラウド１３の端部から反射鏡１２の正面側に回り込込めない。これにより、アンテナ背面方向の放射特性が改善される。

上記構成においては、レドームにフランジを設ける必要はない。また、電磁波吸収体はポケットに収納するだけで容易にレドームに設置可能である。従って、低コストでレドームを製造可能である。
このように、本実施形態に係るアンテナ装置は、アンテナ背面方向から反射鏡を伝わってきた電磁波がアンテナ正面方向に放射されることを低コストで防止できる。
なお、上記実施形態は本発明の好適な実施の一例であり、本発明はこれに限定されることはない。
例えば、上記実施形態においては、レドームにポケットを設けて電磁波吸収体を収容する構成を例としたが、レドームに電磁波吸収体を接着するなどしても良い。
このように、本発明は様々な変形が可能である。

Claims (6)
- 放射器と、放射器から放射された電磁波を所定の方向へ反射する反射板と、該反射板の周縁に設けられたシュラウドとを有する開口面アンテナに装着されるレドームであって、
前記反射板の開口面と略同一形状の平面部とそれを取り囲む側壁部とがキャップ状を呈し、
前記開口面アンテナと対向する側には、前記平面部と前記側壁部との境界をまたぐように電磁波吸収体が設置されることを特徴とするレドーム。 - 前記側壁部に、前記電磁波吸収体を収容する複数の袋状部が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項１記載のレドーム。
- 放射器と、放射器から放射された電磁波を所定の方向へ反射する反射板と、該反射板の周縁に設けられたシュラウドとを有するアンテナ本体と、
前記反射板の開口面と略同一形状の平面部とそれを取り囲む側壁部とがキャップ状を呈し、前記アンテナ本体を前記シュラウド側から被さるように覆うレドームとを有し、
前記レドームの前記アンテナ本体と対向する側には、前記平面部と前記側壁部との境界をまたぐように電磁波吸収体が設置されており、

前記電磁波吸収体は、その一部がはみ出すように前記袋状部に収容され、はみ出した部分が前記シュラウドの端部と当接することを特徴とする請求項３記載のアンテナ装置。 - 前記レドームは、シート状の部材の周縁部を折り重ねることによって前記側壁部が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項３又は４記載のアンテナ装置。
- 放射器と、放射器から放射された電磁波を所定の方向へ反射する反射板と、該反射板の周縁に設けられたシュラウドとを有するアンテナ本体を、前記反射板の開口面と略同一形状の平面部とそれを取り囲む側壁部とがキャップ状を呈し、前記アンテナ本体と対向する側には前記平面部と前記側壁部との境界をまたぐように電磁波吸収体が設置されたレドームを前記シュラウド側から被せて覆い、
前記電磁波吸収体を、前記シュラウドの端部と当接させることを特徴とする不要放射波防止方法。
