上面にキーボード部を設けた第1筐体と同じく上面にディスプレイ部を設けた第2筐体を互いに重ね合わせた状態から前後方向へスライドさせて前記第1筐体の上面を覆ったり、露出させたりする開閉操作が可能で、スライド開成時におけるスライド操作終了時に前記第2筐体を起立保持させることのできる携帯情報機器の開閉装置であって、
この開閉装置を、スライド機構とチルト機構で構成し、このチルト機構を所定間隔を空けて前記第1筐体側へ取り付けられた一対の取付部材と、この各取付部材に対しヒンジピンを介して回転可能に取り付けられた支持部材と、この各支持部材と前記取付部材の間に設けられた当該支持部材の回転制御手段とで構成し、前記スライド機構を前記第2筐体の側に前記各支持部材に対応して取り付けられるそれ自身が一体構造のスライドレール部材と、この各スライドレール部材に係合状態でスライド可能に取り付けられ、前記各支持部材に取り付けられたスライダー部とで構成したことを特徴とする、携帯情報機器の開閉装置。
