Description

The present invention relates to a resin extrusion molded body as a building material, and more particularly to a thin resin extrusion molded body having a woody / woody appearance.

Conventionally, extruded products of thermoplastic resin blended with wood flour have been used for fences, decks, balconies, handrails, sidings, louvers, etc. as woody and wood-like materials that are building materials that replace wood. In these extrusion-molded bodies, a molding resin composition in which a large amount of wood powder is blended and filled in a thermoplastic resin such as polyvinyl chloride or polypropylene is used in order to obtain a woody / woody feel.

However, if the content of the wood powder is large, the strength of the molded body is reduced, and unless the thickness of the molded body is increased, the molded body often breaks when subjected to an impact. For this reason, the thickness of the molded body is usually formed to 5 mm or more, and a thin molded body having a thickness of 4 mm or less has hardly been produced as a woody / wood-like material. Thin molded bodies as woody and wood-like materials containing wood powder are easy to reduce weight and combine with other materials, and thin materials are also desired in terms of cost.

In addition, blending and filling a large amount of wood flour brings about a decrease in moisture resistance and weather resistance of the resin extrusion molded body. Therefore, the molded body is a multilayer laminate of a core part and a surface layer part, the core part uses a resin composition with a large amount of wood powder, and the surface layer part uses a resin composition with a smaller amount of wood powder. Therefore, it has been proposed to improve moisture resistance and weather resistance (see Patent Documents 1 to 3). In addition, ABS resins having excellent moldability, impact resistance and surface properties are often used. However, when ABS resins are used, the ABS resins themselves are also hygroscopic, and further improvement in weather resistance is desired. Yes.

Furthermore, if the wood flour is contained in a large amount, the fluidity of the composition is poor and it is difficult to produce a thin molded body. In addition, the extrusion molding of a molding resin composition containing a large amount of wood powder requires kneading with an extruder, and the fluidity of the composition is poor, and it is necessary to use an extruder with a twin screw or the like. However, it could not be shared with a general extrusion molding machine. If the resin composition containing a large amount of wood powder is insufficiently dried prior to molding by an extruder, there are many troubles in the molding process due to moisture contained in the wood powder.

An object of the present invention is to provide a thin resin extrusion laminated molded article that uses an ABS resin, has excellent moisture resistance and weather resistance, has a woody / woody appearance, and is not easily broken even when subjected to an impact.

As a result of various studies, the inventor has a core part and a surface layer part. The total thickness of the core part and the surface layer part is 0.5 mm or more and 4 mm or less, and the thickness of the surface layer part is 0. A resin extruded laminate having a thickness of 2 mm or more and less than half of the total thickness, wherein the core part is composed of an ABS resin composition having a wood powder content of 5% by weight or less, and the surface layer part is made of wood powder. It has been found that a thin resin extruded laminate can be obtained by constituting from an AAS resin composition or an AES resin composition having a content of 15% by weight or less, and that the above-mentioned problems can be solved.

Moreover, it is preferable that a surface layer part consists of an AAS resin composition or AES resin composition with which the colored pigment resin composition was mixed. Here, the organic pigment composition is a so-called master batch in which a colored pigment is blended in a thermoplastic resin, melt-kneaded, and pelletized.

The resin extrusion laminated molded body of the present invention is composed of an ABS resin composition whose core material part has a wood powder content of 5% by weight or less, and has a relatively large surface layer part thickness of 15% by weight. The thickness is less than half of the total thickness, so that it is excellent in strength. it can. Furthermore, the core part is composed of an ABS resin composition with a small content of wood powder, and the surface layer part is also an AAS resin composition or an AES resin composition with a wood powder content of 15% by weight or less. The fluidity of the product is good, the extrusion workability is excellent, and a thin molded body can be obtained.

In addition, the wood powder content is low, so it has excellent moisture resistance and weather resistance, and has a beautiful wood / wood tone appearance. It is made of wood / wood tone on fences, decks, balconies, handrails, siding, louvers, etc. It can be suitably applied as a building material. The surface layer part has a larger amount of wood flour than the core part, but it has an AAS resin composition or AES resin composition with a content of 15% by weight or less. In addition, it can be made into a thin resin extrusion laminated molded body, and has excellent weather resistance. Therefore, even a building material for exteriors that often receives impact from the outside can be made into a thin resin extrusion laminated molded body.

The ABS resin of the present invention is a thermoplastic resin composed of an acrylonitrile / butadiene / styrene copolymer, and the AAS resin is also referred to as an ASA resin, which replaces the butadiene rubber of the ABS resin with an acrylic rubber system, The AES resin is a substitute for EPDM rubber (ethylene propylene rubber), and is commercially available as a high-performance styrene resin excellent in impact resistance together with ABS resin.

The wood powder blended in the resin composition is obtained by pulverizing wood such as conifers and hardwoods, and the particle size is not particularly limited, but those of about 20 to 250 mesh are used. In addition to those obtained by pulverizing wood, pulverized products of plant fibers can also be used, and those obtained by pulverizing bark, waste wood, bamboo, cereal shells, and the like can also be used.

The resin composition constituting the core part is composed mainly of ABS resin and the content of wood flour is 5% by weight or less. If the wood powder content exceeds 5% by weight, the strength will decrease, the original strength of the ABS cannot be maintained, and a thin resin extruded laminate cannot be obtained. The molded body also has a problem in weather resistance. Therefore, in the case where the resin composition constituting the core part is used by mixing the recycled resin of the resin extruded laminate with the resin composition constituting the core part as much as possible, Even if a surface layer portion having a large powder content is mixed, it is necessary to adjust so that the content of the wood powder does not exceed the upper limit of 5% by weight.

The resin composition constituting the surface layer part is mainly composed of AAS resin or AES resin, and the content of wood powder is 15% by weight or less. The resin composition constituting the surface layer part has a woody appearance, texture and texture of the resin extruded laminate, and therefore contains more wood flour than the core part, and contains 0.5% by weight. It is preferable to contain above. However, the content is 15% by weight or less, preferably 10% by weight or less in order to maintain the original strength of the resin and to enable a thin resin extrusion laminated molded body and maintain hygroscopicity and weather resistance. . On the other hand, if it exceeds 15% by weight, the strength is lowered and the thin resin extrusion laminate is not only easily cracked, but also the melt viscosity of the resin composition is increased, the fluidity during molding is inferior, and the thin surface layer is accurate. The part cannot be molded.

Additives such as ordinary UV absorbers, antioxidants, and antistatic agents are blended into the resin composition that constitutes the core part and the surface layer part, and, if necessary, calcium carbonate, talc, silica, clay You may mix | blend inorganic fillers, such as. Such resin compositions containing wood flour and additives and inorganic fillers blended as required are each dry blended with a blender or mixer prior to molding, and directly subjected to the molding process. Alternatively, it may be melt-kneaded with an extruder or the like, and the resin composition is pelletized to be subjected to a molding process.

Furthermore, it is preferable to add a colored pigment to the resin composition in order to further emphasize the wood and wood tone. As the colored pigment, various organic or inorganic pigments used in ordinary resin molded products are used. Prior to the molding process, the organic pigment may be directly added to the resin composition together with the wood powder to form a colored resin composition and used for the molding step. However, in order to make the appearance and texture of wood and wood tone appear more effectively, a colored pigment resin composition (masterbatch) in which a colored pigment is blended with a thermoplastic resin, melt-kneaded, and pelletized, It is preferable to dry blend with pellets of the resin composition constituting the surface layer portion and subject to extrusion molding to form the surface layer portion.

In the colored pigment resin composition, the thermoplastic resin blended with the colored pigment does not necessarily have to be the same as the AAS resin or AES resin of the resin composition constituting the surface layer portion, and is melt-mixed with the AAS resin or AES resin. If it is. Further, by combining a plurality of colored pigment resin compositions having different melt viscosities, it is possible to reveal a woody / woody appearance / texture due to differences in fluidity.

In the present invention, the content of the wood flour is 5% by weight or less in the ABS resin composition constituting the core part, 15% or less, preferably 10% by weight in the AAS resin composition or AES resin composition constituting the surface layer part. Since it is the following, it has strength and is not easily broken as a thin resin extrusion laminated molded body even when subjected to external impact. Furthermore, these resin compositions are excellent in fluidity, have good molding processability in extrusion molding, and resin extrusion laminated molded articles using these resin compositions can be molded with high precision. Is possible. The resin extrusion laminated molded body in the present invention is a thin molded body, the total thickness of the core part and the surface layer part is 0.5 mm or more and 4 mm or less, preferably 3 mm or less, and the thickness of the surface layer part is This is a resin extrusion molded body having a thickness of 0.2 mm or more and half or less of the total thickness. If the thickness of the surface layer portion with a large content of wood powder exceeds half of the total thickness, the strength decreases, which is not preferable. Thus, it is possible to reduce the weight by using a thin resin extrusion laminated molded body that is not easily broken even when subjected to an impact, and the installation work as an exterior material is also simple. Further, the amount of raw material resin to be used is small, which is advantageous in terms of cost.

In addition to light weight and cost, it is convenient to use in combination with a metal material such as aluminum. Handrails are generally combined with aluminum from the viewpoint of safety. In such a case, the total thickness of the resin laminate molded body is 2 mm or less, and the surface layer portion is about 0.2 to 0.4 mm. It is possible to obtain a molded product obtained by fitting an aluminum pultruded product into the hollow portion inside. Therefore, in the case where strength is required such as a deck material other than the handrail, the aluminum portion can be thickened to obtain sufficient strength. In addition, the appearance and texture of wood and wood that cannot be obtained by painting aluminum or coloring an oxide film can be provided.

A resin extrusion laminated molded body is obtained by melt-kneading a resin composition that constitutes a core part with a resin extruder for a core part, and a resin composition that constitutes a surface part with a resin extruder for a surface part. It can be extruded and molded integrally through a die.

In order to laminate and integrate the surface layer portion on the core material portion, in addition to extrusion molding through a multilayer multiple die, the core material portion and the surface layer portion are separately formed using a die, and after the core material portion is extruded, It is also possible to laminate the surface layer part on top of each other. It is also effective to adjust the shape of the molded product more accurately by further sizing after passing through the die during extrusion molding. Furthermore, after passing through the die, the surface can be roughened by embossing or sanding as post-processing, and the appearance and texture of wood and wood tone can be further emphasized.

In addition, as post-processing, the surface of the wood and the tone and texture of the wood can be further enhanced by polishing the surface with sandpaper and roughening the surface along the flow of the molded body.

FIG. 1 shows an example in which a resin extrusion laminate is used as a louver. The louver 1 is composed of a core material portion 2 and a surface layer portion 3, and the overall thickness of the core material portion 2 and the surface layer portion 3 is 2 mm, and the thickness of the surface layer portion 2 is 0.9 mm. The surface 4 of the louver 1 has a woody / wood-like appearance due to the surface layer portion 3, and a hollow portion 5 is formed inside the core material portion 2. The ABS resin composition constituting the core part 2 has a wood powder content of 3% by weight, and the AAS resin composition constituting the surface layer part 3 has a wood powder content of 8% by weight. The strength and moisture resistance were maintained without losing properties. Therefore, even though it is a thin resin extruded laminate having a total thickness of 2 mm, it is difficult to break even if it is struck by the tip of a driver and an external impact is applied. In addition, the appearance and texture of wood and wood were revealed without impairing the weather resistance. Furthermore, when a colored pigment resin composition is used in combination, the appearance and texture can be emphasized. And since it was excellent also in the weather resistance, even if it gave the external impact similarly after time even if it was thin resin laminated molded objects, it became a thing which is hard to be cracked.

In addition, the same result was obtained when the wood powder content of the ABS resin composition was 5% by weight and the wood powder content of the AAS resin composition was 10% by weight, and when the AES resin was used instead of the AAS resin. Was the same.

On the other hand, a louver having the same dimensions as the above, an AAS resin composition in which the core part is an ABS resin composition with a wood powder content of 8% by weight, and the surface layer part is an AAS resin composition with a wood powder content of 25% by weight. When the louver used in the same way was extruded and struck with the tip of the driver, the louver was easily cracked.
