現在、いたるところで落書きが行われている。落書きには、スプレー缶を使用したウレタン塗料が用いられる場合が多く、描かれた落書きはなかなか消えず、消す作業に大変な労力を要するものとなっている。
特許文献1には、貼り紙・落書き防止用の粉末状塗料添加剤が記載されている。当該特許文献1記載の技術も、落書き等を防止することを目的としたものであるが、その成分や構成が複雑であることから購入価格は高額になるものと推測される。

一例として所謂油性のペンキ塗料として市販されている塗料を原料とする場合について説明する。当該塗料を有機溶剤によって希釈しない原液の状態を基準として、塗料の体積9.7に対してシリコンオイルを0.3の割合で混合する。シリコンオイルには、一例として信越化学工業株式会社で製造されている各種のシリコンオイルを用いることができる。

上記塗料によって形成した塗膜は、水性のインクや塗料はもちろん、油性の溶剤を用いたインクや塗料をはじく作用を有している。このように、本実施の形態において説明したシリコンオイルを混合した塗料(インクを含む)は、乾燥後において安定した強固な皮膜を形成し、落書きや汚れの付着などを防ぐことができる耐汚染性塗料として機能するようになっている。
