Abstract
【解決手段】フィードバック制御手段がフィードバック制御を開始すると(ステップS2)、異常判定手段が、積算燃料消費量Cが所定値CL以下であるか否か、すなわちデリバリパイプ内の燃料が燃料タンク内の燃料と置換され始めたか否かを判定し(ステップS3)、C≦CLの場合にはフィードバック補正量Rが所定値RLを超えているか否かをさらに判定し(ステップS4)、フィードバック補正量Rが所定値RLを超えている場合に燃料供給系に異常があると判定するようにした(ステップS7)。

Description
図1は、本発明に係る制御装置を含むエンジンシステムの概略構成を示す図である。図1に示すエンジン11は、吸気管噴射型(Multi Point Injection)の多気筒エンジン、例えば、直列4気筒エンジンであり、エンジン本体12には、4つの気筒13が並設されている。各気筒(燃焼室)13には、それぞれ点火プラグ(図示なし)が配されると共に、吸気ポート及び排気ポート(図示なし)が設けられている。そして吸気ポートには吸気マニホールド14が接続され、排気ポートには排気マニホールド15が接続されている。
図5は、実施形態2に係る異常判定手順の一例を示すフローチャートである。なお同一工程には同一符号を付し、重複する説明は省略する。またエンジンシステムの構成自体は実施形態1と同様であるため説明は省略する。
以上、本発明の実施形態について説明したが、本発明は、このような実施形態に限定されるものではない。例えば、上述の実施形態では、リターンレス方式のエンジンを例示して本発明を説明したが、勿論、本発明は、デリバリパイプと燃料タンクとの間にリターン流路を有するリターン方式のエンジンの制御装置にも適用することができる。また例えば、上述の実施形態では、吸気管噴射型のエンジンを例示して本発明を説明したが、勿論、本発明は、例えば、筒内噴射型等、他のタイプのエンジンの制御装置にも適用することができることは言うまでもない。

Claims (4)
- アルコールが混合された混合燃料を使用可能なエンジンの排気空燃比を検出する空燃比検出手段と、
前記空燃比検出手段で検出された排気空燃比を目標空燃比に近づけるように燃料噴射量をフィードバック制御するフィードバック制御手段と、
前記空燃比検出手段で検出された排気空燃比と前記フィードバック制御手段による燃料噴射量の補正量とに基づいて前記混合燃料のアルコール濃度を推定する濃度推定手段と、
前記フィードバック制御手段によるフィードバック制御が開始されてから所定期間内における前記補正量の変化に基づいて燃料供給系の異常を判定する異常判定手段と、を具備し、
該異常判定手段は、前記補正量が一定期間以上継続して所定値以上となっている場合に、燃料供給系に異常があると判定することを特徴とするエンジンの制御装置。 - 前記濃度推定手段は、前記異常判定手段が前記燃料供給系に異常があると判定した場合に、前記混合燃料のアルコール濃度の推定を中止することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンジンの制御装置。
- 前記燃料供給系がリターンレス方式の燃料供給装置で構成され、前記所定期間とは、前記燃料供給装置を構成する燃料供給路内の燃料が前記タンク内の燃料に置換されるまでの期間であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のエンジンの制御装置。
- 前記エンジンが、蒸発燃料を蓄えるキャニスタと、該キャニスタと吸気系とを接続するパージ通路とを具備するものであり、
このパージ通路を開閉制御して前記吸気系へパージされる蒸発燃料のパージ量を制御するパージ制御手段をさらに具備し、
該パージ制御手段が、前記所定期間中における蒸発燃料の前記吸気系へのパージをカットすることを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載のエンジンの制御装置。
