Abstract
【解決手段】エラストマー;シリカ、カーボンブラック、及びこれらの混合物から選ばれる補強性充填剤;硬化剤;及びアミノAMS、アミノ/メルカプタンco−AMS、アミノ/ブロック化メルカプタンco−AMS、これらの混合物、並びに弱酸で中和された固体及びその水溶液からなる群より選ばれる1種若しくはそれ以上の化合物を含むアミノアルコキシ変性シルセスキオキサン(AMS)を含む加硫性ゴム組成物。

Description
残余のR1、R2、R3又はR4は同じであるか若しくは異なっており、(i)H又は炭素数1〜約20のアルキル基、(ii)炭素数3〜約20のシクロアルキル基、(iii)炭素数7〜約20のアルキルアリール基、(iv)R6X(ここでXはCl、Br、SH、SaR7、NR7 2、OR7、CO2H、SCOR7、CO2R7、OH、オレフィン、エポキシド、アミノ基、ビニル基、アクリレート及びメタクリレートからなる群より選ばれ、aは1〜約8である)、及び(v)R6YR8X(ここでYはO、S、NH及びNR7からなる群より選ばれる)からなる群より選ばれ、
R6及びR8は、炭素数1〜約20のアルキレン基、炭素数3〜約20のシクロアルキレン基、及び単結合からなる群より選ばれ、
R5及びR7は、炭素数1〜約20のアルキル基、炭素数3〜約20のシクロアルキル基、及び炭素数7〜約20のアルキルアリール基からなる群より選ばれる]を有する。
NR7 2について、2つのR7は同じであっても異なっていてもよい。
有機カルボン酸中和反応と強カチオン性樹脂触媒とを用いるアミノ/メルカプタンco−AMSの調製。特に、30モル%のメルカプトプロピルシランを用いるco−AMSの調製、及びDowex 50WX2-100E強カチオン性樹脂触媒の使用。

ゴム配合物の加工性評価
ゴム配合物の粘弾性及び機械特性の評価
配合されたストック中における充填剤粒子に結合したポリマーの割合を測定して、ゴムストックを結合ゴム含量について評価した。未硬化の配合ストックの小片を大過剰の良好な溶媒(トルエン)に3日間浸すことによって、結合ゴムを測定した。溶解性のゴムは溶媒によって試料から抽出した。3日後、過剰なトルエンを排出し、試料を大気中で乾燥させ、次いで約100℃のオーブンで重量が一定になるまで乾燥させた。残存しているゴム片が、充填剤と元のゴムの一部とを含有する弱粘着性ゲルを形成した。充填剤とともに残存したゴムの量が結合ゴムであった。結合ゴム含量は次式に従って計算した。
動的粘弾性機械特性は、-100℃〜-20℃の範囲の温度で歪み0.5%、並びに-20℃〜100℃の範囲の温度で歪み2%を用い、31.4ラジアン/秒の周波数で実施した温度分散試験から得た。また50℃でのtanδのデータは、2%の歪み基準での歪み分散測定から得た。3.14ラジアン/秒の周波数は、0.25%〜14.75%で歪みを掃引して50℃及び0℃で実施した歪み分散用に用いた。配合物の貯蔵中及び硬化中の充填剤形態の安定化度は、配合後の充填剤凝集度(ペイン効果、ΔG’)によって測定した。
引張り機械特性は、ASTM−D 412の25に記載の標準的な手順を用いて測定した。試験片は、厚さ2.5mm、内径44mm、外径57.5mmの刻み目を付けた丸いリングであった。25.4mmの特定のゲージ長を引張り試験で使用した。
Claims (6)
- (a)エラストマー、
(b)シリカ、カーボンブラック、及びこれらの混合物から選ばれる補強性充填剤、
(c)式:
[式中、w、x、y及びzはモル分率を表し、zはゼロではなく、またw、x又はyの少なくとも1つは存在しなければならず、かつw+x+y+z=1.00であり、
R1、R2、R3及びR4の少なくとも1つはR6Zからなる群より選ばれ、ここでZはNH2、HNR7及びNR7 2からなる群より選ばれ、
残余のR1、R2、R3又はR4は同じであるか若しくは異なっており、(i)H又は炭素数1〜20のアルキル基、(ii)炭素数3〜20のシクロアルキル基、(iii)炭素数7〜20のアルキルアリール基、(iv)R6X(ここでXはCl、Br、SH、SaR7、NR7 2、OR7、CO2H、SCOR7、CO2R7、OH、オレフィン、エポキシド、アミノ基、ビニル基、アクリレート及びメタクリレートからなる群より選ばれ、aは1〜8である)、及び(v)R6YR8X(ここでYはO、S、NH及びNR7からなる群より選ばれる)からなる群より選ばれ、
R6及びR8は、炭素数1〜20のアルキレン基、炭素数3〜20のシクロアルキレン基、及び単結合からなる群より選ばれ、
R5及びR7は、炭素数1〜20のアルキル基、炭素数3〜20のシクロアルキル基、及び炭素数7〜20のアルキルアリール基からなる群より選ばれる]で表わされるアミノAMS、アミノ/メルカプタンco−AMS、アミノ/ブロック化メルカプタンco−AMS、これらの混合物、並びに約3.5〜約6.5のpKaを有する弱酸で中和された固体及びその水溶液からなる群より選ばれる1種もしくはそれ以上の化合物を含むアミノアルコキシ変性シルセスキオキサン(AMS)、並びに
(d)硬化剤
を含むことを特徴とする加硫性ゴム組成物。 - 前記R1、R2、R3及びR4の少なくとも1つが、メルカプトアルキル基及びブロック化メルカプトアルキル基からなる群より選ばれる請求項1に記載の加硫性ゴム組成物。
- 配合中及びさらなる処理中におけるVOCの量が、ゴム配合物中で実質的に0〜約0.1重量%である請求項1に記載の加硫性ゴム組成物。
- 配合中及びさらなる処理中におけるVOCとして放出されるアルコールの量が、ゴム配合物中で実質的に0〜約0.1重量%である請求項1に記載の加硫性ゴム組成物。

を含む加硫性ゴム組成物から製造された加硫されたゴム配合物を含む少なくとも1つの構成物品を含むことを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記タイヤ構成物品が、トレッド、サブトレッド、サイドウォール、ボディプライスキン、ビードフィラー、エペックス、チェーファー、サイドウォールインサート、ワイヤーコート、インナーライナー、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選ばれる請求項5に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
