Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the presence or absence of a gas leak from a valve of a gas cylinder without requiring time and effort and at low cost.
SOLUTION: Under the condition being attached to the gas cylinder 10, an airtight space 36 is formed by a protective cover 30 comprising a tubular member 31 enclosing the valve 13 and a plate-shaped member 33 sectioning the space within the tubular member 31. A bag member 34 made of vinyl and rounded in a spiral state is connected to a hole 33A formed in the plate-shaped member 33. Since a gas leak occurring in the valve 13 of the gas cylinder 10 deforms the bag member 34, the presence or absence of a gas leak is determined on the basis of the shape of the bag member 34.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT

Description

The present invention relates to a method for determining the presence or absence of gas leakage from a member to be inspected such as a container valve such as a gas cylinder.

As a method for determining the presence or absence of gas leakage from a container valve of a gas cylinder, a method of applying soapy water around a metal fitting attached to the mouth of the gas cylinder is known. In this method, when there is a gas leak, bubbles are generated in the soapy water by this gas. Therefore, when bubbles are generated, it can be determined that a gas leak has occurred.

As another method for determining the presence or absence of gas leakage, a method of measuring the weight of a gas cylinder is known. In this method, the weight of the gas cylinder is measured, and when the weight decreases, it can be determined that a gas leak has occurred.

As another method for determining the presence or absence of gas leakage, for example, in Patent Document 1, a gas detection cap is installed so as to cover the entire container valve of the gas cylinder, and the gas in the gas detection cap is sent to the gas detector. The method of determining the presence or absence of gas leakage by determining whether or not the gas sent by the gas detector includes gas is described.
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-332098

However, in the method of applying soapy water to the container valve and the method of measuring the weight, manpower and time are required and work efficiency is poor. Moreover, in the method of patent document 1, since a gas detector is required, expensive expense starts.

The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and its purpose is to determine whether or not there is a gas leak from a part to be inspected such as a container valve of a gas cylinder at low cost without taking time and effort. Is to be able to do it.

The method for determining gas leakage according to the present invention is a method for determining the presence or absence of gas leakage from a predetermined portion of a member to be inspected in which gas is sealed or circulated. The closed space forming member with the flexible bag attached to the part forms an airtight space, and the inspection of the closed space forming member so that the predetermined portion is located in the airtight space. It is attached to a target member, and the presence or absence of gas leakage is determined based on whether or not the bag body is deformed.

In the above method, the inspection object member may be a gas cylinder, the predetermined portion may be a container valve of the gas cylinder, and the closed space forming member is attached to the gas cylinder to protect the container valve. The protective cover which can accommodate a container valve inside may be used.

Further, the gas leakage determination method of the present invention is a method for determining the presence or absence of gas leakage from a predetermined part of the inspection target member in which gas is enclosed or circulated, and has an opening. A sheet-like member having a flexible bag attached to the opening is attached to the inspection target member so as to cover the predetermined portion, and an outer periphery of the sheet-like member and the inspection target member A gap is sealed, and the presence or absence of gas leakage is determined based on whether or not the bag body is deformed.

Further, the method for determining gas leakage according to the present invention is a method for determining the presence or absence of gas leakage from an inspection target member in which gas is enclosed or circulated, and a flexible bag is connected. The inspection target member is accommodated in an airtight accommodating member, and the presence or absence of gas leakage is determined based on whether or not the bag body is deformed.
In addition, the said bag body may consist of a cylindrical member by which the end was obstruct | occluded.

According to the present invention, when a gas leak occurs from a member to be inspected, the bag body expands and deforms, and therefore it is possible to determine whether there is a gas leak. For this reason, an expensive apparatus or the like is not required, and the determination can be made at a low price. Further, the work necessary for the determination is only the attachment of the closed space forming member and the determination of the presence or absence of the change in the shape of the bag, and the determination can be made without taking time and effort.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of a method for determining the presence or absence of gas leakage according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. In the present embodiment, a case where the method of the present invention is applied when determining the presence or absence of gas leakage from a gas cylinder valve will be described as an example.
1A and 1B are views showing a gas cylinder 10 that is a target for determining whether or not there is a gas leak in the present embodiment. FIG. 1A is a front view, and FIG. 1B is an enlarged view of the vicinity of a valve 13 with a protective cover 20 attached. FIG. As shown in the figure, the gas cylinder 10 is formed in a substantially cylindrical shape and includes a gas cylinder main body 11 having a small-diameter connection portion 12 at an upper portion and a valve 13 attached to an opening at the upper end of the connection portion 12. A thread 12 </ b> A is formed on the outer periphery of the connecting portion 12.

As shown in FIG. 1B, a protective cover 20 is attached to the unused gas cylinder 10 so as to surround the valve 13 in order to protect the valve 13. The protective cover 20 is a container-like member having an opening 21 at the lower end, and a thread 21 </ b> A is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the opening 21. The protective cover 20 is attached to the gas cylinder 10 by screwing the thread 21 </ b> A on the inner peripheral surface of the opening 21 with the thread 12 </ b> A of the connection portion 12 of the gas cylinder 10.

In the present embodiment, such a protective cover 20 is incorporated with a mechanism for determining whether or not there is a gas leak.
FIG. 2 is a view showing the protective cover 30 of this embodiment attached to the gas cylinder 10. As shown in the figure, the protective cover 30 includes a cylindrical member 31 having an open upper surface, and a plate member 33 is attached to an intermediate portion of the cylindrical member 31 so as to divide an internal space. An opening 33A is formed in the plate member 33, and a bag body 34 is attached to the opening 33A from above.

An opening 32 is formed on the lower surface of the cylindrical member 31, and a thread 32 </ b> A is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the opening 32. Further, at least the upper part 31A of the cylindrical member 31 is made of a transparent plastic, and the inner bag body 34 can be observed from the outside.

The bag body 34 is made of a flexible member such as vinyl, which is preferably configured in an elongated cylindrical shape, with one end closed and the other end opened. The vicinity of the opening side end of the bag body 34 is enlarged so that it can be attached to the opening 33A formed in the plate member 33, the air inside is removed, and the closed end is positioned inside. In such a manner, it is attached to the opening 33 </ b> A of the plate material 33 in a state of being rolled up in a spiral shape. In addition, this bag 34 can be made to react also to slight gas leakage by making the diameter small.

The protective cover 30 is attached to the gas cylinder 10 by screwing a thread 32 </ b> A formed in the opening 32 of the cylindrical member 31 with a thread 12 </ b> A on the outer peripheral surface of the connection part 12 of the gas cylinder 10. Under the present circumstances, this clearance gap can be sealed by interposing the sealing member 35 in the clearance gap between the opening part 32 of the cylindrical member 31, and the connection part 12 of the gas cylinder 10. FIG. Thereby, the lower part inside the cylindrical member 31 becomes an airtight space 36, and the valve 13 is accommodated in the space 36.

When there is no gas leakage from the valve 13 of the gas cylinder 10, the space 36 is closed, so that no new gas enters the space 36. For this reason, the bag 34 is maintained in a spirally rounded state without changing.

On the other hand, when there is a gas leak from the valve 13 of the gas cylinder 10, the gas leaks from the valve 13 to the space 36, and the pressure in the space 36 increases. As a result, the bag body 34 expands when the gas flows therein and extends upward as shown in FIG. For this reason, the presence or absence of gas leakage can be determined by visually confirming the shape of the bag 34.

In addition, when the amount of leaked gas is large, the pressure in the bag body 34 increases, and the bag body 34 may have a hole. If there is a hole in the bag body 34 in this way, the gas inside will escape and it will not be possible to maintain a state of extending upward. However, even in such a case, as shown in FIG. 3B, since the bag body 34 is deformed from the spirally rounded state, the presence or absence of gas leakage can be determined.

According to the present embodiment, since it is possible to determine the presence or absence of gas leakage simply by incorporating a bag 34 made of, for example, vinyl into the protective cover 30, a large-scale device or the like is not necessary for the determination, and the cost is low. Judgment can be made.

The protective cover 30 is attached to protect the valve 13 while the gas cylinder 10 is not being used, and it is determined whether or not there is a gas leak only by visually determining whether or not the shape of the bag 34 has changed. Therefore, the determination can be made without taking time and labor.

In the present embodiment, the bag body 34 is incorporated in the protective cover 30 formed in a cylindrical shape, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and the bag body is attached to the protective cover 30 formed so as to cover the valve 13. Is also possible. In such a case, for example, as shown in FIG. 4, a hole 43 is provided in advance in a space 46 in which the valve 13 of the protective cover 40 is accommodated, and a bag body 34 is attached to the hole 43. Then, the protective cover 40 is attached to the gas cylinder 10 by screwing the screw 12 </ b> A of the connecting portion 12 of the gas cylinder 10 and the screw 42 </ b> A of the opening 42 of the protective cover 40. At this time, a seal member 45 is interposed in the gap so that gas does not leak from the gap between the connection portion 12 and the opening 42. Thereby, when there is no gas leak from the valve, the shape of the bag body 34 does not change. When there is a gas leak, the shape of the bag body 34 changes. Presence / absence can be determined.

Further, along the length direction of the bag body 34, for example, a thin copper wire is deformed when the bag body 34 is inflated, and after the deformation, a holding member capable of holding the shape is attached. Also good. By attaching such a holding member, when the bag body 34 expands due to gas leakage, even if the holding member is deformed together with the bag body 34 and then the bag body 34 has a hole, the holding member As a result, the deformed state of the bag body 34 is maintained, so that the deformation of the bag body 34 can be reliably confirmed.

Moreover, although this embodiment demonstrated the case where the presence or absence of the gas leak from the valve | bulb of a gas cylinder was demonstrated, this invention is applicable also when examining the presence or absence of the gas leak from the joint part of gas piping. . In such a case, for example, a hole is provided in advance in a vinyl sheet member, and a bag is attached to the hole with an adhesive or the like. Then, as shown in FIG. 5, the sheet member 60 is attached so as to surround the outer periphery of the joint portion 51, and the sheet member 60 is attached by the gum tape 61 so that no gas leakage occurs between the sheet member 60 and the pipe 50. Adhere to the pipe 50. In this state, when gas leaks from the pipe 50, the gas flows into the bag body 34 through the gap between the sheet member 60 and the surface of the pipe 50, and the bag body 34 is deformed. For this reason, it is possible to determine the gas leakage of the joint portion 51 based on whether or not the bag 34 is deformed.

In each of the above embodiments, the case where the presence / absence of gas leakage from a predetermined part of a member such as a gas cylinder or a pipe is determined has been described. The present invention can be applied to the case where it is determined whether or not there is gas leakage from a predetermined part of a member having a property.

In each of the above-described embodiments, the case where the presence / absence of gas leakage from a predetermined portion of a member such as a gas cylinder or piping has been described. The present invention can also be applied in the case of detecting gas leakage from In such a case, as shown in FIG. 6, the bag body 34 is attached in advance to a container or bag 80 that can accommodate the inspection target member 70. Then, the inspection target member 70 is accommodated in the container or bag 80, and the container or bag 80 is sealed. When there is a gas leak from the inspection target member 70, the bag body 34 is deformed similarly to the above-described embodiments. Based on this, the presence / absence of a gas leak from the inspection target member 70 is determined. Can do.
