Abstract
【課題】 光供給ユニットを用いた表示装置を提供する。
【解決手段】 ソケットターミナルを具備した光供給ユニットを用いた表示装置に関し、底部を有する収納容器と、収納容器内に配置されて光を提供する光源と、収納容器内に配置された回路基板と、光源及び回路基板に電気的に接続されたソケットターミナルと、そして光源から提供される光を受けるよう配置された表示パネルを含む表示装置を提供する。

Description
前記ソケットターミナルは、前記回路基板と締結される回路基板締結部を含み、前記回路基板締結部は、内側空間を有するハウジングと、第1導電性ターミナルを含み、前記第1導電性ターミナルは、前記ハウジングの内側空間に位置することが好ましい。
前記回路基板は、突出エッジと前記突出エッジに形成されたコンタクトターミナルを有し含み、前記突出エッジは、前記ハウジングの前記内側空間に挿入され、前記第1導電性ターミナルが前記コンタクトターミナルと電気的に接続されていることが好ましい。
前記回路基板締結部は、前記回路基板の前記コンタクトターミナルに電気的に接続されるように形成された凹部を含むことが好ましい。
前記第1ブランチと前記第2ブランチとの間隔は、前記ランプガイド部がランプホールディング部より広いことが好ましい。
前記ソケットターミナルは、全体が導電性物質からなることが好ましい。
前記ソケットターミナルは、前記光源と前記回路基板に直接連結されることが好ましい。
光源と駆動電力を伝達するワイヤー間の追加的なボンディング工程を省略でき、接続信頼性が向上し、歩留まりの向上にも寄与する。又、ユニット内部に駆動電力を供給するための回路基板を配置でき、より薄型の表示装置を具現することができる。

Claims (10)
- 底部を有する収納容器と、
光を提供して前記収納容器の前記底部の一面上に位置する光源と、
前記光源が置かれた前記底部と同じ面上に配置される回路基板と、
前記光源及び前記回路基板に電気的に接続されるソケットターミナルと、
前記光源から光を受けて画像を表示する表示パネルと、を有することを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記回路基板は、前記収納容器の前記底部に垂直に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示装置。
- 前記ソケットターミナルは、前記回路基板と締結される回路基板締結部を含み、前記回路基板締結部は、内側空間を有するハウジングと、第1導電性ターミナルを含み、
前記第1導電性ターミナルは、前記ハウジングの内側空間に位置することを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示装置。 - 前記回路基板は、突出エッジと前記突出エッジに形成されたコンタクトターミナルを含み、
前記突出エッジは、前記ハウジングの前記内側空間に挿入され、前記第1導電性ターミナルが前記コンタクトターミナルと電気的に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項3記載の表示装置。 - 前記回路基板締結部は、曲げられて前記回路基板のエッジにかかるように形成されることを特徴とする請求項3記載の表示装置。
- 前記回路基板締結部は、前記回路基板の前記コンタクトターミナルに電気的に接続されるように形成された凹部を含むことを特徴とする請求項3記載の表示装置。
- 前記ソケットターミナルは前記光源を固定するソケット部を含み、前記ソケット部は第1ブランチと第2ブランチを含み、
前記第1ブランチ及び第2ブランチは、一部分が互いに向かって曲げられて光源を支持するランプホールディング部と、光源をランプホールディング部にガイドするランプガイド部を形成することを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示装置。 - 前記第1ブランチと前記第2ブランチとの間隔は、前記ランプガイド部がランプホールディング部より広いことを特徴とする請求項7記載の表示装置。
- 前記ソケットターミナルは、全体が導電性物質からなることを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示装置。
- 前記ソケットターミナルは、前記光源と前記回路基板に直接連結されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示装置。
