秤量された量の触媒を、流動砂浴中で加熱される5/8インチ(1.58cm)直径インコネルTMニッケル合金反応器チューブに入れた。チューブを約1時間にわたって窒素の流れ(50cc/分、8.3×10−7m3/秒)中50℃から175℃に加熱した。HFを次に、50cc/分(8.3×10−7m3/秒)の流量で反応器に入れた。0.5〜2時間後に窒素流れを20cc/分(3.3×10−7m3/秒)に下げ、HF流れを80cc/分(1.3×10−6m3/秒)に上げ、この流れを約1時間維持した。反応器温度を次に3〜5時間にわたって徐々に400℃に上げた。この期間の終わりに、HF流れを停止し、反応器を20sccm(3.3×10−7m3/秒)窒素流れ下に所望の運転温度に冷却した。フッ化物アルミナを、さらなる使用のために反応器から排出させるか、または触媒評価のために反応器に保った。
以下の一般手順は、フッ素化反応の生成物を分析するために用いられる方法を例示するものである。全体反応器流出物の一部を、質量選択検出器を備えたガスクロマトグラフ(GC/MS)を用いる有機生成物分析のためにオンラインでサンプリングした。ガスクロマトグラフィーは、不活性炭素担体上のクリトックス(Krytox)(登録商標)パーフッ素化ポリエーテルを含有する長さ20フィート(6.1m)×直径1/8インチ(0.32cm)チューブを用いた。ヘリウム流れは30mL/分(5.0×10−7m3/秒)であった。ガスクロマトグラフィー条件は、3分の初期保持期間の間60℃、引き続く6℃/分の速度で200℃までの温度プログラミングであった。

1215ybはCF3CF=CFClのEおよびZ形である。
パラジウム/フッ化物アルミナ触媒上でのH2およびHFとCFC−215bbとの反応
触媒の調製について上に記載された一般手順に従って調製された1%パラジウム/フッ化物アルミナ触媒(1/8インチ押出物)の10.0g(15mL)サンプルを、流動砂浴中で加熱される5/8インチ(1.58cm)直径インコネルTMニッケル合金反応器チューブに入れた。CFC−215bbをポンプから約100〜110℃に維持された気化器へ供給した。蒸気を、モネルTM削りくずを充填した0.5インチ(1.27cm)直径モネルTMニッケル合金チューブ中で適切なモル比のHFおよび水素と組み合わせた。反応体の混合物を次に、触媒を含有する反応ゾーンに入れた。反応を1気圧の呼び圧力で行った。生成物分析は、生成物分析のための一般手順に記載されるように行った。様々な温度でこの触媒上での水素およびフッ化水素とCF3CFClCFCl2との反応の結果を表1に示す。表1に含まれない、少量の他の生成物もまた存在した。生成物分析データはGC面積%の単位で示す。接触時間は、表1に示される最後の3ランを除いては30秒であった。
パラジウム/アルミナ触媒上でのH2とCFC−215bbとの反応
ハステロイ・チューブ(0.625インチOD×0.576ID×10インチL)に15cc(9.7g)の市販の1%パラジウム/アルミナ球体(4mm)を詰めた。反応器の充填部を、反応器の外側に固定された5.7インチ×1インチ・セラミックバンドヒーターによって加熱した。反応器壁とヒーターとの間に配置された、熱電対が反応器温度を測定した。触媒を50sccm(8.33×10−7m3/秒)の窒素で、250℃で2時間加熱することによって活性化させた。窒素を止め、触媒を50sccm(8.33×10−7m3/秒)の水素で、250℃で2時間処理した。反応器を次に、窒素の流れ下に所望の運転温度に冷却した。窒素流れを停止した後に水素およびCFC−215bbの流れを次に反応器を通して開始した。水素対CFC−215bbモル比は2/1であり、接触時間は30秒であった。生成物をGC/MSによって分析し、表2にモル%として報告する。表2にリストされない、少量の他の化合物もまた存在した。
パラジウム/炭素触媒上でのH2とCFC−215bbとの反応
触媒が市販の0.5%パラジウム/炭素(5.4g、15.0mL)であり、水素およびCFC−215bbのみを反応器に供給したことを除いて実施例1を実質的に繰り返した。水素対CFC−215bbモル比は2/1であり、接触時間は30秒であった。様々な運転温度についての、面積%単位での、生成物のGC/MS分析結果を表3にまとめる。表3にリストされない、少量の他の化合物もまた存在した。
Claims (14)
- アルミナ、アルミナフッ化物、フッ化アルミニウムおよびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択された担体に担持された触媒有効量のパラジウムを含む触媒の存在下に反応ゾーンでCF3CClFCCl2FをH2と反応させて1,2,3,3,3−ペンタフルオロプロペンを含む製品混合物を製造する工程を含み、反応ゾーンに供給されるH2対CF3CClFCCl2Fのモル比が約1:1〜約5:1である1,2,3,3,3−ペンタフルオロプロペンの製造方法。
- 1,2,3,3,3−ペンタフルオロプロペンが製品混合物から回収される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 2,3,3,3−テトラフルオロ−1−プロペンもまた製品混合物中に存在し、そして該2,3,3,3−テトラフルオロ−1−プロペンもまた回収される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 1,1,1,2,3−ペンタフルオロプロパンもまた製品混合物中に存在し、そして該1,1,1,2,3−ペンタフルオロプロパンもまた回収される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 1−クロロ−1,2,3,3,3−ペンタフルオロプロペンもまた製品混合物中に存在し、そして該1−クロロ−1,2,3,3,3−ペンタフルオロプロペンもまた回収される請求項1に記載の方法。
- HFもまた反応ゾーンに供給される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 1−クロロ−1,1,2,3,3,3−ヘキサフルオロプロパンもまた製品混合物中に存在し、そして1−クロロ−1,1,2,3,3,3−ヘキサフルオロプロパンが製品混合物から回収される請求項6に記載の方法。
- HFがHFとCF3CClFCCl2Fとを含む共沸混合物または近似共沸混合物として反応ゾーンに供給される請求項6に記載の方法。
- 1,1,1,2,3−ペンタフルオロプロパンもまた製品混合物中に存在し、そして該1,1,1,2,3−ペンタフルオロプロパンもまた製品混合物から回収される請求項6に記載の方法。
- (1)請求項5に従って1−クロロ−1,2,3,3,3−ペンタフルオロプロペンを回収する工程、および
(2)該1−クロロ−1,2,3,3,3−ペンタフルオロプロペンを1,1,1,2,3−ペンタフルオロプロパンへ水素化する工程
を含む1,1,1,2,3−ペンタフルオロプロパンの製造方法。 - (1)請求項2に従って1,2,3,3,3−ペンタフルオロプロペンを回収する工程、および
(2)該1,2,3,3,3−ペンタフルオロプロペンを、場合によりHFの存在下に1,1,1,2,3−ペンタフルオロプロパンへ水素化する工程
を含む1,1,1,2,3−ペンタフルオロプロパンの製造方法。 - (1)請求項7に従って1−クロロ−1,1,2,3,3,3−ヘキサフルオロプロパンを回収する工程、および
(2)該1−クロロ−1,1,2,3,3,3−ヘキサフルオロプロパンを1,1,1,2,3,3−ヘキサフルオロプロパンへ水素化する工程
を含む1,1,1,2,3,3−ヘキサフルオロプロパンの製造方法。 - (a)CF3CClFCCl2F、および
(b)HF
を含み、HFがCF3CClFCCl2Fと共沸組合せを形成するのに有効な量で存在する組成物。 - (c)1,1,1,2,3−ペンタフルオロプロパン、および
(d)HF
を含み、HFが1,1,1,2,3−ペンタフルオロプロパンと共沸組合せを形成するのに有効な量で存在する組成物。
