Abstract
Description
Claims (38)
- 燃料を内燃機関の燃焼室に分配するための噴射器点火燃料噴射システムであって:
次のフュエル・チャージを加熱しおよび触媒作用を及すための加熱型触媒燃料噴射器を制御するエンジンECUで、燃料噴射を制御するために1回点火サイクル先読みアルゴリズムを使うECUを含むシステム。 - 請求項1の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記先読みアルゴリズムが上記ECUにあるコンピュータソフトウエア・プログラムを含み、このソフトウエア・プログラムが燃料噴射を制御するための機械読取り可能または解釈可能命令を含むシステム。
- 請求項1の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記アルゴリズムが現在のスロットル入力を先のエンジンデータと比較し、燃料負荷および次の点火までの予測時間を決めるシステム。
- 請求項3の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記先のエンジンデータが最後のスロットル入力、エンジン負荷、RPM値、および空気入口温度を含むシステム。
- 請求項1の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記次のフュエル・チャージが容積で約65%のヘプタン、25%のセタン、および10%のエタノールを含むシステム。
- 請求項1の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記フュエル・チャージを加熱しおよび一つ以上の酸素源のあるところで触媒作用を及すシステム。
- 請求項1の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記アルゴリズムが上記燃料噴射器の加圧室内の予備酸化保持時間を制御するシステム。
- 請求項7の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記アルゴリズムが、使用中の所定の燃料混合物に基づいて、ECUデータベースの中の適当な予備酸化剤保持時間設定値を特定するシステム。
- 請求項8の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記ECUデータベースが出合うであろう燃料オクタン価および酸素付加添加剤の範囲に及ぶプリロードしたテーブルを含むシステム。
- 請求項9の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記酸素付加添加剤をMTBE、エタノール、その他のオクタンおよびセタン・ブースター、並びにその他の燃料酸素付加剤から成るグループから選択したシステム。
- 請求項9の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記ECUが点火遅れを感知することによって燃料オクタン価の範囲に亘ってその有効性を絶えず調整するシステム。
- 請求項1の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記フュエル・チャージにニッケル、ニッケル・モリブデン、アルファ・アルミナ、アルミニウム・二酸化珪素、その他の空気電極酸素還元触媒、および炭化水素分解に使うその他の触媒から成るグループから選択した触媒を使って触媒作用を及すシステム。
- 請求項1の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記フュエル・チャージに約5%のモリブデンと共にニッケルを含む触媒を使って触媒作用を及すシステム。
- 請求項1の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記触媒加熱温度が316°Cと399°Cの間であるシステム。
- 請求項1の燃料噴射システムに於いて、噴射器圧力は、上記フュエル・チャージが選択した温度設定で超臨界流体として機能するに十分高いシステム。
- 請求項1の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記燃料噴射器が高オクタン価燃料、高セタン価燃料、およびガスエンジン燃料とディーゼルエンジン燃料の混合物で作動するシステム。
- 請求項1の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記アルゴリズムが上記内燃機関の爆発行程中に上記フュエル・チャージを実質的に排他的に分配するために上記燃料噴射器を制御するシステム。
- 請求項1の燃料噴射システムに於いて、次のエンジン点火の準備は、最後のエンジン点火が完了すると直ぐに始り、このとき上記燃料噴射器は実質的に燃料がないシステム。
- 請求項1の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記アルゴリズムが、高スロットル設定では低スロットル設定より速く上記燃料を選択した温度に加熱するように上記燃料噴射器へのエネルギー入力も調整するシステム。
- 請求項19の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記アルゴリズムが急速加速中の燃料加熱曝露時間を増すために4点火サイクルまでの燃料を上記高温部に蓄積させるシステム。
- 請求項1の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記ECUがある範囲の燃料および燃料混合物に対応するために燃料混合情報を受けるための補足入力を含むシステム。
- 請求項21の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記燃料混合情報を給油での直接入力機構を使って、または積込んだ燃料をサンプリングしてエンジン運転パラメータを上記ECUに連絡する車載解析器を使って用意するシステム。
- 請求項1の燃料噴射システムに於いて、急速燃焼点火を実質的に上死点で始めることによって廃熱を最少化するシステム。
- 請求項1の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記ECUが、高圧縮エンジンで上死点の直ぐ前で起る急速回転減速を補償するために、噴射器点火信号を調整するシステム。
- 請求項24の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記ECUが、RPM、エンジン負荷、およびエンジン負荷傾向を含む所定の運転マップに優先してエンジン減速を補正するエンジン・ルックアップテーブルを含むシステム。
- 請求項25の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記エンジン・ルックアップテーブルが、特定の種類のエンジン構造用の予測上死点対実際の上死点の誤差を測定するための学習アルゴリズムと共にプリロードしてあるシステム。
- 請求項25の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記エンジン・ルックアップテーブを、噴射ピン位置指示計と絶対上死点指示計の間の差を計算することによってこのテーブルの記載事項を絶えず調整する学習アルゴリズムを使うことによって作動中に動的に調整するシステム。
- 請求項27の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記調整を、ノックセンサ入力を使って、または絶対点火位置対上死点を検出するシリンダ内圧力センサを使って改善するシステム。
- 請求項1の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記調整が圧縮ブレーキによる点火遅れドリフトを微調整するためにパターン認識ヒューリスティックスを利用するシステム。
- 請求項29の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記パターン認識ヒューリスティックスが定常状態スロットルおよび負荷状態の識別をもたらすシステム。
- 燃料を内燃機関の燃焼室に分配するための噴射器点火燃料噴射システムであって:
次のフュエル・チャージを加熱しおよび触媒作用を及すための加熱型触媒燃料噴射器を制御するエンジンECUで、燃料噴射を制御するために1回点火サイクル先読みアルゴリズムを使うECUを含み;
この加熱型触媒燃料噴射器が:
次のフュエル・チャージを加圧室に分配するための入力燃料計量システム;
このフュエル・チャージをこの加圧室内で圧縮するための加圧ラムを含み、このフュエル・チャージをこの加圧室で触媒のあるところで加熱する加圧ラムシステム;および
この加熱し、触媒作用したフュエル・チャージをこの内燃機関の燃焼室に噴射するための噴射器ノズル含むシステム。 - 請求項31の燃料噴射システムに於いて、次のエンジン点火の準備は、最後のエンジン点火が完了すると直ぐに始るシステム。
- 請求項32の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記最後のエンジン点火が完了すると、上記燃料噴射器は実質的に燃料がなく、上記加圧ラムは完全に変位した位置にあり、および上記噴射器ノズルは閉じているシステム。
- 請求項31の燃料噴射システムに於いて、次の点火サイクルが上記加圧ラムを引込めることを伴い、それが入力燃料計量システムに液体燃料のエーロゾルを上記加圧室に分配させるシステム。
- 請求項34の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記加圧ラムシステムが次に、上記燃料を加熱および気化しながら上記燃料噴射器を保護する工程、および上記燃料を目標噴射圧力および温度に加圧する工程を含む二段階サイクルで加圧するシステム。
- 請求項35の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記燃料を気化して目標噴射圧力および温度に達するシステム。
- 請求項31の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記噴射器ノズルが所定の保持時間後に開き、上記加圧ラムが完全変位位置に達するように、上記フュエル・チャージを上記燃焼室に押込むシステム。
- 請求項37の燃料噴射システムに於いて、上記所定の保持時間を次の上死点事象から遡って予測するシステム。
