Abstract
Description
<実施例1:シクロヘキサノン中のP3HT>
5ミリグラム(mg)のP3HTを10グラム(g)のシクロヘキサノン中に溶解し撹拌しながら150℃に加熱した。溶解処置の間、ポリマーの化学酸化及び/または光酸化を防止するために、溶液を光及び周囲空気から保護した。ポリマーの完全な溶解(透明溶液を得ること)の後、この溶液をゆっくりと50℃に冷却した。10℃.h-1から100℃.h-1の範囲の種々の冷却速度を試験し、ナノ繊維のモルホロジーへの著しい影響は観察されなかった。典型的には、20℃.h-1から25℃.h-1の範囲の冷却速度を用いた。50℃において、この溶液を多孔質膜(例えば0.45μm[マイクロメーター]の気孔率を有するTeflon(登録商標)膜フィルター)を通してろ過して70℃から形成し始めた沈澱を除去した。ナノ繊維の形成処置を、このろ液を同じ速度で周囲温度に冷却することによって継続した。
0.2gのポリ-(3-ヘキシルチオフェン)を10gのp-キシレン中に溶解し撹拌しながら70℃に加熱した。溶解処置の間、ポリマーの化学酸化及び/または光酸化を防止するために、溶液を光及び周囲空気から保護した。得られた溶液は透明であり、これを20℃.h-1の速度で周囲温度に冷却した。UV-可視分光光度法により監視したこの溶液における変化は、ナノ繊維の形成はこの温度(25℃)では緩慢な方法であることを示している。25℃で2日後、UV-可視スペクトル(図1)はもはや顕著には変化せず、この溶液は粘性のあるゲルを形成し、この粘性は撹拌(手動または機械式)するとかなり減少した。このゲルは安定した状態を保ち、光及び空気から保護して周囲温度で4週間貯蔵した後でも沈澱は観察されなかった。
光電池分野における用途を目的としてナノ繊維のスペクトル特性をより正確に確認するため、及びそれらの安定性を確認するために、ナノ繊維の付着物を作製した。
自然酸化物で被覆されたシリコンのウェファーを、10秒から10分の範囲の期間、p-キシレンまたはシクロヘキサノン中の0.05重量%のP3HTナノ繊維の溶液に浸し、次いで過剰な溶液をアルゴン流中で除去した。
p-キシレン中のP3HTナノ繊維の0.5重量%を、次の付着条件を用いてシリコンウェファー上にスピンコーティングで付着した。1000rpmで40秒間、次いで200rpmで加速して2000rpmで60秒間。
ナノ繊維の連続的付着物を次のとおりに作製した。第一層を、実施例4の条件下でp-キシレン中のナノ繊維の0.5重量%溶液から付着し、次いで、次の層を、スピンコーティングの回転の終わりの直後に、下にある層の更なる乾燥をせずに同じ溶液から付着した。この手順を、付着物の厚さを所望の値に増すのに必要なだけ多くの回数だけ繰り返した。ガラス上に作製されたポリマー単体の付着物は、1つの付着層の30nmから2つの層の70nmまで増加する厚さを有した。吸収(A)は付着された層の数の関数として増加した。1層で最大A max (555nm) = 0.45任意単位(a.u.)、2層で0.85及び4層で1.95。
<実施例6:ナノ繊維及び非晶質ポリマーの溶液>
ナノ繊維及び会合していないポリマー鎖の溶液を、p-キシレン中のP3HTナノ繊維の1%溶液及びp-キシレン中の会合していないP3HTポリマー鎖(ジクロロメタン中に可溶な部分)の1%溶液を単純に混合することによって得た。
<実施例7:P3HT/PCBMナノ繊維の組成物の調製>
電子供与体型化合物であるPCBMを、p-キシレン中のP3HTナノ繊維の1重量%溶液に固体形態で添加した。P3HT/PCBM比は1:1であった。このブレンドを撹拌して均一な溶液を生成した。図5は、本発明による(PCBM/P3HT)組成物またはPCBM及びP3HTのp-キシレン中の種々の蛍光スペクトルを示している。PCBMの増加量の関数であるゆるやかな消光を観測することができ、これはP3HTからPCBMへの電荷輸送をもたらす。
電子供与体型化合物であるPCBMを、p-キシレン中のP3HTの会合していないポリマー鎖の1重量%溶液に固体形態で添加した。P3HT:PCBM比は1:1であった。この溶液を、撹拌しながら70℃に加熱した。溶解処置の間、この溶液を、ポリマーの化学酸化及び/または光酸化を防止するために光及び周囲空気から保護した。得られた透明溶液を20℃.h-1の速度で周囲温度に冷却し、観察された橙色から青色への経過はナノ繊維の出現に特徴的であった。経時的に安定な溶液が得られ次第、このブレンドを撹拌してポリマーの全量に対して75重量%のナノ繊維を含む均一な溶液を生成することができた。
p-キシレン中のPCBMの2重量%溶液を、p-キシレン中のP3HTナノ繊維の2重量%溶液に添加した。P3HT:PCBM比は1:1であり、最終濃度はp-キシレン中のP3HTの1重量%であった。このブレンドを撹拌して均一な溶液を生成した。
<実施例10:光電池の調製>
試験に使用した光電池は、図7に示された構成を有した。それは、PEDOT:PSS(Bayerにより販売されている導電性ポリマー)の層でそれ自体を被覆されたITOの層で被覆されたガラス基板を含んだ。PEDOT:PSSの上層を本発明のフィルム(ナノ繊維及びPCBM)で被覆した。最終的に、フィルムまたは活性層を、LiFの層及びアルミニウムの層で相次いで被覆した。電池の構成は、従って次のとおりであった。
・ガラス基板/ITO/PEDOT:PSS/ナノ繊維 + PCBM/LiF/Al
電池を次のとおり調製した。
・基板の表面積は4.25cm2であった。
遠心コーティング(スピンコーティング)による付着のための条件は次のとおりであった。
・第一段階において、コーティング期間は、4秒で1500rpmに到達できる加速を用いての1500rpmでの40秒であり、次いで第二段階において、コーティング期間は、4秒かけての1500rpmから2000rpmに変える加速を用いての2000rpmでの40秒であった。
Claims (27)
- 光起電力特性を有するポリマー組成物を調製する方法であって、溶媒中で、本質的にナノ繊維の形態の少なくとも1種の電子供与体型半導体ポリマー材料、及び該溶媒中の少なくとも1種の電子受容体型材料をブレンドする段階を含み、前記ナノ繊維が電子供与体型半導体ポリマー材料の少なくとも10重量%に相当する方法。
- 前記ブレンド段階の最後に得られるブレンドが、アニーリングを用いずに直接的に基板上に付着されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ナノ繊維が、電子供与体型半導体ポリマー材料の25重量%から93重量%に相当することを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記ナノ繊維が、ブレンド段階の前に、ナノ繊維の生成を促進する有機溶媒中に少なくとも1種の電子供与体型半導体ポリマー材料を溶解する段階中に調製されることを特徴とする、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記溶解段階が、周囲温度より高い温度で溶解した後、周囲温度に徐冷却することによって実施されることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記ナノ繊維が、遠心処理及び/またはろ過によって会合していない電子供与体型ポリマー材料から分離されることを特徴とする、請求項4または5に記載の方法。
- 前記有機溶媒がp-キシレンであることを特徴とする、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記有機溶媒が、シクロヘキサノン、クロロベンゼン、ジクロロベンゼン、及びそれらの混合物から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記ブレンド段階が撹拌せずに実施されることを特徴とする、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記電子供与体型半導体ポリマー材料が、ポリチオフェン、ポリチエニレンビニレン、ポリフェニレン、ポリフェニレンビニレン、ポリアニリン、ポリフルオレン、及びそれらの混合物から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記電子供与体型半導体ポリマー材料が、ポリ(3-ヘキシルチオフェン)、ポリ(3-ヘキシルオキシチオフェン)、(ポリ(2-メトキシ-5-(2'-エチルヘキシルオキシ)p-フェニレンビニレン)及びポリ(2-メトキシ-5-(3',7'-ジメチルオクチルオキシ)-1,4-フェニレンビニレン)、それらの誘導体、並びにそれらの混合物から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記電子受容体型材料が、有機層、半導体ナノ繊維、有機受容体、またはそれらの混合物で場合によって被覆することができる無機受容体型半導体ナノ結晶を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記無機受容体型半導体ナノ結晶が、ポリチオフェン、オリゴチオフェン、またはそれらの混合物を含む有機層で被覆されることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記半導体ナノ繊維が、Si、AsGa、Ge、InP、CdSe、及びCdTe、並びにそれらの混合物から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記有機受容体型材料が、C60フラーレン誘導体、C61フラーレン誘導体、C70フラーレン誘導体、カーボンナノチューブ及びそれらの誘導体、ペリレン及びその誘導体、キノキサリン、及びテトラシアノキノジメタン、並びにそれらの混合物から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記有機電子受容体型材料が1-(3-メトキシカルボニル)-プロピル-1-フェニル-[6,6]-C61であることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 請求項1から16のいずれか一項に記載の方法によって得られるポリマー組成物。
- 前記電子供与体型半導体ポリマー材料がポリ-(3-ヘキシルチオフェン)であり、前記電子受容体型材料が1-(3-メトキシカルボニル)-プロピル-1-フェニル-[6,6]-C61であることを特徴とする、請求項17に記載の光起電力特性を有するポリマー組成物。
- 0.5重量%から2重量%の電子供与体型半導体ポリマー材料を含むことを特徴とする、請求項17または18に記載の光起電力特性を有するポリマー組成物。
- 薄層の形態の、請求項17から19のいずれか一項に記載の組成物を含む材料を付着する方法であって、該材料が、インクジェット、スピンコーティング、スプレードライ、散布または印刷技術を用いて、浸漬によって固体基板上に付着されることを特徴とする方法。
- 前記材料が、固体基板上に単層として付着されることを特徴とする、請求項20に記載の付着方法。
- 前記材料が、固体基板上に多層として付着されることを特徴とする、請求項20に記載の付着方法。
- 前記固体基板が、ガラス、導電性ポリマー、導電性酸化物で被覆されたポリマー及び導電層で被覆されたガラスから選択されることを特徴とする、請求項20から22のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記導電性ポリマーが、ポリエチレンジオキシチオフェン、ポリアニリン、またはそれらの混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項23に記載の方法。
- 請求項20から24のいずれか一項に記載の方法を実施することによって得られる薄層を含むことを特徴とする光電池。
- 請求項17から19のいずれか一項に記載の組成物により、または請求項20から24のいずれか一項に記載の方法を実施することによって得られる薄層により電気的に接続されている少なくとも2つの電極を含むことを特徴とするバルクヘテロ接合型光電池。
- 前記組成物が、電池の電力変換効率が3%以上になるように選択されることを特徴とする、請求項26に記載の光電池。
