Description
本出願は、米国仮特許出願第60/701,314号(“METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SAVING AIR INTERFACE RESOURCES”)の恩恵に対して権利を主張している。
Claims (23)
- 信号送信の方法であって、
パケットのストリームの中から、少なくとも1つの指示された基準に適合するパケットのフローを選別する要求を送信することと、
指示されたサービス品質(quality-of-service, QoS)処理にしたがって、パケットのフローを無線エアーインターフェース上にマップする要求を送信することと、
選別する要求およびマップする要求の中の一方の失敗に応答して、選別する要求およびマップする要求の中の他方の撤回を送信することとを含む方法。 - 指示されたQoS処理は、指定されたトラフィックフローに対する要求されたデータレートを含んでいる請求項1記載の信号送信の方法。
- 指示されたQoS処理は、QoSプロファイルのテーブルへのインデックスを含んでいる請求項1記載の信号送信の方法。
- 少なくとも1つの基準は、パケットの指定された宛先アドレスを含んでいる請求項1記載の信号送信の方法。
- 選別する要求は、トラフィックフロー テンプレートにしたがってパケットのストリームをフィルタにかける要求を含んでいる請求項1記載の信号送信の方法。
- 選別する要求は、パケットのフローの各々に共通の源アドレスおよび宛先アドレスの中の一方を示す請求項1記載の信号送信の方法。
- 選別する要求およびマップする要求の中の一方の失敗は、所定の時間間隔内での要求の確認応答の検出に失敗することによって示される請求項1記載の信号送信の方法。
- 前記選別する要求を送信することは、トラフィックフロー テンプレートにしたがってパケットのストリームをフィルタにかける要求を、パケットデータ供給ノードに送信することを含む請求項1記載の信号送信の方法。
- 前記マップする要求を送信することは、指示されたQoS処理にしたがって無線エアーインターフェース上でパケットのフローを移送する要求を、無線アクセスネットワークに送信することを含む請求項1記載の信号送信の方法。
- 請求項1記載の信号送信の方法を記載している機械実行可能な命令のセットを有するデータ記憶媒体。
- 信号送信の方法であって、
パケットフィルタをインストールする要求を、パケットデータ供給ノードに送信することと、
無線エアーインターフェース上へ、および指示されたサービス品質(QoS)処理にしたがって、パケットフィルタに適合するパケットのフローをマップする要求を送信することと、
インストールする要求およびマップする要求の中の一方の失敗に応答して、インストールする要求およびマップする要求の中の他方の撤回を送信することとを含む方法。 - 請求項11記載の信号送信の方法を記載している機械実行可能な命令のセットを有するデータ記憶媒体。
- 無線通信の装置であって、
パケットのストリームの中から、少なくとも1つの指示された基準に適合するパケットのフローを選別する要求を生成する手段と、
指示されたサービス品質(QoS)処理にしたがって無線エアーインターフェース上へパケットのフローをマップする要求を生成する手段と、
選別する要求およびマップする要求の中の一方の失敗に応答して、選別する要求およびマップする要求の中の他方の撤回を生成する手段とを含む装置。 - 指示されたQoS処理は、指定されたトラフィックフローに対する要求されたデータレートを含んでいる請求項13記載の無線通信の装置。
- 指示されたQoS処理は、QoSプロファイルのテーブルへのインデックスを含んでいる請求項13記載の無線通信の装置。
- 少なくとも1つの基準は、パケットの指定された宛先アドレスを含んでいる請求項13記載の無線通信の装置。
- 前記選別する要求を生成する手段は、トラフィックフロー テンプレートにしたがってパケットのストリームをフィルタにかける要求を含むように、選別する要求を生成するように構成されている請求項13記載の無線通信の装置。
- 前記装置は、選別する要求をパケットデータ供給ノードに送信するように構成されている請求項17記載の無線通信の装置。
- 前記選別する要求を生成する手段は、パケットのフローの各々に共通の源アドレスおよび宛先アドレスの少なくとも一方を示すように、選別する要求を生成するように構成されている請求項13記載の無線通信の装置。
- 前記撤回を生成する手段は、所定の時間間隔内での要求の確認応答の検出に失敗することに基づいて、選別する要求およびマップする要求の中の一方の失敗を判断するように構成されている請求項13記載の無線通信の装置。
- 前記マップする要求を生成する手段は、指示されたQoS処理にしたがって無線エアーインターフェース上でパケットのフローを移送する要求として、マップする要求を生成するように構成され、
前記装置は、マップする要求を無線アクセスネットワークに送信するように構成されている請求項13記載の無線通信の装置。 - 前記装置は、集積回路である請求項13記載の無線通信の装置。
- 前記装置は、セルラ電話である請求項13記載の無線通信の装置。
