Abstract
Description

Claims (20)
- 再生速度(480)とビデオ・コンテンツ・コンポーネント(122)と対話型コンテンツ・コンポーネント(124)とを有する対話型マルチメディア・プレゼンテーション(120/127)を再生する方法であって、前記対話型コンテンツ・コンポーネント(124)は複数のメディア・オブジェクト(125)をレンダリングする命令(304)を有するアプリケーション(155)を含む、方法において、
前記再生速度(480)に基づくレートで第1のタイミング信号(471)を発生する(702)ステップと、
連続的な所定のレートで第2のタイミング信号(401)を発生する(704)ステップと、
前記第1(471)及び第2(401)タイミング信号の一方に基づいてメディア・オブジェクト(125)がレンダリング可能である時間を特定する命令にアクセスする(720)ステップと、
前記時間において前記メディア・オブジェクト(125)をレンダリングするように調整する(722/724)ステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法において、前記命令(304)が前記第1のタイミング信号(471)に基づいて前記時間を特定するときには、レンダリングするように調整する(722/724)前記ステップは、前記ビデオ・コンテンツ・コンポーネント(122)と同期して前記メディア・オブジェクト(125)をレンダリングするように調整するステップを含み、前記ビデオ・コンテンツ・コンポーネント(122)は、ビデオとオーディオとデータとで構成されるグループから選択されるサンプル(132)を含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法において、前記命令(304)が前記第1のタイミング信号(401)に基づいて前記時間を特定するときには、レンダリングするように調整する(722/724)前記ステップは、前記ビデオ・コンテンツ・コンポーネント(122)とは独立に前記メディア・オブジェクト(125)をレンダリングするように調整するステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法において、前記命令(304)はアプリケーション命令を含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項4記載の方法において、前記アプリケーション命令は宣言的な形式を有することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項5記載の方法において、前記アプリケーション命令はエクステンシブル・マークアップ・ランゲージ(XML)データ構造と関連付けられた要素を含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項6記載の方法において、前記時間は前記要素の属性を用いて特定されることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項7記載の方法において、前記属性はクロック属性を含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項6記載の方法において、前記XMLデータ構造のシンタクスはDVDフォーラムによって公開されている高精細ビデオのための仕様に従うことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項4記載の方法において、前記アプリケーション命令はスクリプト形式を有することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法において、前記第1のタイミング信号(471)は前記ビデオ・コンテンツ・コンポーネント(122)がビデオ・ソース(161)から受け取られるレート(407)を調整するのに用いられ、前記ビデオ・コンテンツ・コンポーネント(122)はビデオとオーディオとデータとで構成されるグループから選択されるサンプル(132)を含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法において、前記第2のタイミング信号(401)はウォール・クロック信号を含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法において、前記第1のタイミング信号(471)と前記第2のタイミング信号(401)とは同一のクロック信号から導かれることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法において、前記再生速度(480)はゼロ速度と低速順速度と高速順速度と低速逆速度と高速逆速度とを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1記載のステップを実行するコンピュータ実行可能な命令(806)が記憶されているコンピュータ可読な媒体(804)。
- 再生速度(480)とビデオ・コンテンツ・コンポーネント(122)と対話型コンテンツ・コンポーネント(124)とを有する対話型マルチメディア・プレゼンテーション(120/127)を再生する装置であって、前記対話型コンテンツ・コンポーネント(124)は複数のメディア・オブジェクト(125)をレンダリングする命令(304)を有するアプリケーション(155)を含む、装置において、
コンピュータ可読記憶媒体(804)と、
前記コンピュータ可読記憶媒体(804)とコンピュータ・プログラム(806)とに応答するプロセッサ(802)と、
を備えており、前記コンピュータ・プログラム(806)は、前記プロセッサ(802)にロードされると、
前記再生速度(480)に基づくレートを有する第1のタイミング信号(471)にアクセスし、
連続的な所定のレートを有する第2のタイミング信号(401)にアクセスし、
前記第1(471)及び第2(401)タイミング信号の一方に基づいてメディア・オブジェクト(125)がレンダリング可能である時間を特定する命令(304)にアクセスし、
前記命令(304)に基づいて、前記時間において前記メディア・オブジェクト(125)をレンダリングするように調整するように動作可能であることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項16記載の装置において、前記命令(304)が前記第1のタイミング信号(471)に基づいて前記時間を特定するときには、前記コンピュータ・プログラム(806)は前記ビデオ・コンテンツ・コンポーネント(122)と同期して前記メディア・オブジェクト(125)をレンダリングするように調整するように動作可能であり、前記命令(304)が前記第2のタイミング信号(401)に基づいて前記時間を特定するときには、前記コンピュータ・プログラム(806)は前記ビデオ・コンテンツ・コンポーネント(122)とは独立に前記メディア・オブジェクト(125)をレンダリングするように調整するように動作可能であり、前記ビデオ・コンテンツ・コンポーネント(122)はビデオとオーディオとデータとで構成されるグループから選択されるサンプル(132)を含むことを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項16記載の装置において、前記プロセッサ(802)は光ディスク・再生ヤと関連付けられていることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項18記載の装置において、前記光ディスク・再生ヤはDVDフォーラムによって公開されている高精細ビデオのための仕様に従うことを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項18記載の装置において、前記プロセッサ(802)は電子デバイスと関連付けられていることを特徴とする装置。
