Description

The present invention relates to an improvement in the corner structure of an assembly-type case.

Assembling-type cases used as conventional returnable boxes, etc., assemble a C-type box with plastic corrugated sheet (plastic corrugated cardboard), and then fit a channel-shaped frame member on the upper edge of the box. In addition, at the corner portion, corner members are externally fitted to the end portions of the respective frame members, and ultrasonic waves, rivets, caulking pins (resin / metal), etc. are used for the sheet, the frame members, and the corner members. The case is completed by caulking.
In the above configuration, since the frame member and the corner member are sequentially crimped on the upper edge portion of the case assembled with the plastic cardboard, there is a disadvantage that a step is generated for each of the seat, the frame member, and the corner member. there were.
Further, since each of the frame member and the corner member is free, there is a problem that it is difficult to obtain the dimensional accuracy of the case as it is.

Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the corner portion structure of the assembly-type case according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

[Assembly type case]
As shown in FIG. 2, the assembly-type case has a basic configuration of a blank 8 made of plastic cardboard forming the case body 1, a plastic corner member 10, and a frame member 20.
In the present invention, the plastic corrugated cardboard has a hollow structure in which a pair of flat plastic sheets are connected by a plastic core in substantially the same manner as a paper corrugated cardboard. Two plastic sheets bonded together, two or more plastic sheets connected by a number of parallel ribs, on both sides of a plastic core with a number of continuous irregular shapes (hat shapes) This refers to a laminate of two plastic sheets.

[Case body]
In the case of the present embodiment, the case body 1 is assembled by being surrounded by the bottom wall portion 2 and the four peripheral wall portions 3 rising along the edge of the bottom wall portion 2, and the upper surface is opened. It has a known shape having a corner portion 6.
In each corner portion 6 of the case body 1, notches 4 and 4 are formed at the upper edge portions of a pair of adjacent peripheral wall portions 3 and 3 (see FIGS. 1 and 2).
In the illustrated example, the notch 4 is formed in a rectangular shape.

FIG. 4 shows an example of the blank 8.
This blank consists of a first blank 8a shown in FIG. 4 (a) and a second blank 8b shown in FIG. 4 (b).
The first blank 8a is provided with a bottom wall forming piece 2 ′ at the center, and left and right peripheral wall forming pieces 3a ′ are heat-welded so as to be bent along a folding line L1.
The 2nd blank 8b consists of peripheral wall part formation piece 3b 'used as the front and back of a case main body, and two things of the same shape are used in the case of an assembly.

And the notch part 4 is each pierced by the edge part vicinity of the outer edge part of the said left and right surrounding wall part formation piece 3a, and the edge part vicinity of the upper edge of front and back surrounding wall part formation piece 3b '.
The notch 9 formed at the end of the lower edge of the peripheral wall portion forming piece 3b ′ is for preventing interference during assembly.
In addition, the part enclosed with a circle in the figure shows the direction of the center of the plastic cardboard.

Using the blanks 8a and 8b having the above-described shape, the case main body 1 having the upper surface opened and having the bottom wall portion 2 and the four peripheral wall portions 3 rising along the edge of the bottom wall portion 2 is assembled.
The blank used in the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiment, and a known blank such as one in which the bottom wall portion forming piece and the peripheral wall portion forming piece are all separated, or one having a reinforcing piece as shown in FIG. Can be used.

[Corner]
In this embodiment, the corner member 10 has a substantially L shape in plan view as shown in FIGS.
The corner member 10 is a channel shape (see FIG. 5 (d)) that is fitted around a pair of peripheral wall portions 3 and 3 adjacent to each other at the corner portion 6 of the case body 1 and is fitted in a substantially L-shaped cross section. A socket portion 11 having a groove 12 is provided.
Here, the width of the fitting groove 12 of the corner member 10 is determined in accordance with the thickness of the peripheral wall portion 3 to be fitted.

The socket part 11 has a pair of latching protrusions 13 each having a base end fixed to the opening part of the fitting groove 12 on both sides in the orthogonal lateral direction.
And a pair of this latching protrusion piece 13 fits in a pair of said notch parts 4, respectively, can be latched and can position the corner member 10, and improves the dimensional accuracy of the below-mentioned frame member 20. Thus, the accuracy of the frontage dimension of the case can be increased.

In the illustrated example, the corner member 10 is formed with a support wall portion 17 that rises along the outer peripheral edge of the socket portion 11, and serves as a positioning guide when stacking the case.

[Fixing means]
The corner member 10 is fitted to the corner portion 6 of the case body 1, and the frame member 20 is fitted to the upper edge of the peripheral edge portion 3 of the case body 1 so as to cover the latching protruding piece 13 and contact the end portion of the socket portion 11. To do.
In this embodiment, ultrasonic welding is used as an example of the fixing means, and the outer and inner portions where the frame member 20 and the latching protrusion 13 overlap each other (such as when the blank 8 of FIG. 4 is used) or the outer side. Is the portion where the frame member 20 and the latching protrusion 13 overlap and the inner portion is integrally welded at the portion where the frame member 20 and the peripheral edge portion 3 overlap (for example, when using the blank 8 in FIG. 6), Is completed.
In the above embodiment, ultrasonic welding is exemplified as the fixing means, but other known plastic welding can be used.

[Projection]
Here, it is preferable that one or both side surfaces of the latching protruding piece 13 are formed with uneven portions or a plurality of protruding portions 16 spaced apart from each other.
In the case of the embodiment of FIG. 1 and FIG. 7, the cross section with a long pitch forms a corrugated uneven surface 16 a on the inner wall surface of the latching protrusion 13, and the short cross section with a corrugated corrugated surface on the outer wall surface. The surface 16b is formed.

As a result, the resin melted at the time of welding does not escape into the recesses of the concavo-convex surface and does not protrude or swell up to the outside, and can be finished cleanly.
The reason why the outer pitch is narrowed is that the welding point at the time of welding is accurately performed without being uneven, and the reason why the inner pitch is widened is to make it easier to store the molten resin.

In the above embodiment, the case where the cross section of the latching protruding piece 13 is corrugated is illustrated, but the vertical cross section may be a concave / convex surface including a corrugated or concave / convex section.
Further, not only the uneven surface, but also a plurality of protrusions 16c spaced apart from each other may be formed on the wall surface of the latching protrusion piece 13 as described later (see FIG. 8).

Next, in the present embodiment, the longitudinal section of the socket portion 11 is formed substantially the same as the longitudinal section of the end portion of the frame member 20.
Therefore, when the end side of the frame member 20 is externally fitted to the latching protruding piece 13 fitted in the notch portion 4, the upper surface 20 a and both side surfaces 20 b of the frame member 20 are changed to the upper surface 11 a of the socket portion 11 and It is formed so as to be flush with both side surfaces 11b.
Thereby, even if the corner member 10 and the frame member 20 are fixed, the upper surface and both side surfaces of both are set on the same surface, so that no stepped portion is formed.

In the present invention, at least one of the upper surface and both side surfaces may be the same surface.
For example, if the side surface 20b that is the inner side of the frame member 20 is formed so as to be flush with the inner side surface 11b of the socket portion 11, the opening of the case can be maximized because there are no irregularities.

Further, if the upper surface 20a of the frame member 20 is formed so as to be flush with the upper surface 11a of the socket part 11, the upper surfaces 20a and 11a are flush with each other, so there is no possibility of wobbling when stacking.
Further, if the side surface 20c that is the outer side of the frame member 20 is formed so as to be flush with the outer side surface 11c of the socket part 11, there is no unevenness on the outer side surface of the upper part of the case. be able to.

6 and 7 show different embodiments.
A blank 8 shown in FIG. 6 is for assembling a case by folding a sheet of plastic corrugated cardboard, and a bottom wall forming piece 2 ′ is formed at the center. The left and right peripheral wall portion forming pieces 3a ′ are connected to each other via a folding line L2, and the front and rear peripheral wall portion forming pieces 3b ′ are connected along the upper and lower edges of the bottom wall portion forming piece 2 ′. They are connected via a folding line L3.

In addition, reinforcing pieces 3c are connected to the front and rear peripheral wall portion forming pieces 3b 'in the left-right direction in the drawing via a folding line L4, and the inside of the left and right peripheral wall portion forming pieces 3a' when the case body 1 is assembled. It is supposed to overlap.
And the notch part 4 is each pierced by the edge part vicinity of the right-and-left side in the figure of the outer edge part of the said right-and-left surrounding wall part formation piece 3a 'and the front-and-rear surrounding wall part formation piece 3b'.

As a result, the upper surface is opened using the blank 8, and the case body 1 having the bottom wall portion 2 and the four peripheral wall portions 3 rising along the edge portion of the bottom wall portion 2 is assembled. In the peripheral wall portion, the sheet of the peripheral wall portion forming piece 3a ′ and the sheet of the reinforcing piece 3c are doubled.

The width of the fitting groove 12 of the corner member 10 is determined according to the thickness of the peripheral wall portion 3 to be fitted as described above.
Therefore, when the blank 8 shown in FIG. 6 is used, one of the peripheral wall portions 3 adjacent to each other at the corner portion 6 is overlapped with the peripheral wall portion forming piece 3a ′ and the reinforcing piece 3c to have a double thickness. As shown in FIG. 7, the width of one fitting groove (referred to as 12 ′ for convenience of description) of the socket portion 11 is set to be twice the width of the other fitting groove 12.

In this case, since the notch 4 is formed only in the peripheral wall portion forming piece 3a ′ and not in the reinforcing piece 3c, the latching protruding piece 13 is set to be half the thickness of the fitting groove 12 ′. However, when the notch part which aligns with the notch part 4 of peripheral wall part formation piece 3a 'also in the corresponding position of the reinforcement piece 3c, the latching protrusion piece 13 can be set to double thickness.

In the above embodiment, the case where one peripheral wall portion of the corner is thicker than the other is illustrated, but both may be thick.
Similarly, it is preferable to set the thickness of the latching protruding piece corresponding to the thickness of the fitting groove formed in the peripheral wall portion.
Since other configurations are the same as those in the above-described embodiment, the same components are denoted by the same reference numerals, and description thereof is omitted.

FIG. 8 shows a different embodiment of the protrusion.
The protrusion formed on the latching protrusion 13 is not limited to the concavo-convex surface, and may be composed of a plurality of protrusions 16c spaced from each other.
This protrusion 16c may extend vertically or may extend horizontally.

In the latching protrusion piece 13 shown in FIG. 8, protrusions 16 c extending in the lateral direction are formed on both surfaces of the latching protrusion piece 13.
Also in this case, the resin melted when the frame 20 and the latching protruding piece 13 are welded by known means such as plastic welding can escape between the protrusions.
Moreover, when performing ultrasonic welding, it can also fix without leaving a welding trace on the surface of the frame member 20 by adjusting the conditions.
In this case, when the protrusion 16c is used, the protrusion 16c is easily melted and fused to the frame or the peripheral wall, which is more advantageous.
Since other configurations are the same as those in the first embodiment, the description thereof is omitted.

In the present invention, the case body is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and any case body may be used as long as it can be assembled integrally using one or a plurality of blanks.
Moreover, although the case main body illustrated the case of a rectangular parallelepiped, it can be applied also to the case of arbitrary box shapes, such as a cube, a cylinder whose cross section is a polygon, and a cylinder whose cross section is a circle or an ellipse.
In addition, it goes without saying that various design changes can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
