That is, as shown in FIG. 12, when the engaging portion 60 of the second cover member 32 starts to be inserted into the engaging insertion portion 50d of the engaging receiving portion 50 of the first cover member 31, and further inserted, FIG. As shown in FIG. 2, the arrow-like first engagement shaft 64 of the first engagement portion 61 is in contact with the first engagement piece 54 and the first opposing plate portion 55, and further, the second engagement A second engaging shaft 67 in the shape of an arrowhead of the joining portion 62 contacts the second engaging piece 56 and the second opposing plate portion 57. Further, when the second cover member 32 is pushed rearward, the first engagement piece 54 is pushed by the tapered surface continuous to the corners 64a and 67a at the distal ends of the engagement shafts 64 and 65 in the insertion direction. The second engaging piece 56 is bent and deformed upward and the engaging shafts 64 and 67 can be pushed further into the back.

Further, the second cover member 32 is pushed backward, and as shown in FIG. 14, the step receiving portions 64b and 67b of the engagement shafts 64 and 67 are engaged with the engagement step portions 54b and 56b of the engagement pieces 54 and 56, respectively. When the vehicle goes over 56b, the engaging pieces 54 and 56 are restored and deformed, and the step receiving portions 64b and 67b and the engaging step portions 54b and 56b are engaged, so that the second cover member 32 moves forward, that is, in the disengagement direction. Thus, a one-touch lock function is realized. In this state, the portion along the edge 34Ra of the vertical wall portion 34 of the second cover member 32 contacts the cover plate portion 59 of the first cover member 31, and the rear of the second cover member 32 The movement in the forward and backward directions is restricted.

Further, in this state, each engagement piece 54, 56 elastically presses each engagement shaft 64, 67 against each opposing surface portion 55a, 57a of each opposing plate portion 55, 57, and is elastically sandwiched, and The engagement shafts 64 and 67 are sandwiched between the opposing plate portions 55 and 57 that are fixedly provided, and movement in the vertical direction is restricted without rattling. In addition, the first side portion 34Lb of the edge portion 34La of the first cover member 31 and the first side portion 34Rb of the second cover member 32 come into contact with each other, so that the vertical direction of the cover members 31 and 32 is increased. Regulate the movement of

Further, in this state, the edges 41a of the upper wall portion 41 of each cover member 32 come into contact with each other, and the second and third side portions 34Rc, 34Rd of the vertical wall portion 34 of the second cover member 32 are The movement of the first cover member 31 in contact with the second and third side portions 34Lc and 34Ld and in the direction of approaching each other along both sides is restricted. Further, the engagement pieces 54 and 56 are sandwiched between the convex portions 65 and 68 on the side of the engagement portions 61 and 62 and the locking base portions 66 and 69, and both sides of the cover members 31 and 32 are disposed. That is, the movement in the left-right direction is restricted. Further, in this state, the locking portion 60 is inserted and locked in the groove-shaped locking insertion portion 50d of the locking receiving portion 50, and the rearward movement of the second cover member 32 is restricted. Further, the movement in the vertical direction is restricted, and furthermore, both side surfaces of the locking part 60 come into contact with the inner wall of the locking insertion part 50d, that is, each side plate part 50a, and the movement in the horizontal direction is restricted.

In this state, the second cover member 32 is also attached to the vehicle body attachment portion 35 placed on the support plate portion 20 of the vehicle body panel 14 as necessary, similarly to the first cover member 31. The part is fixed to the support plate part 20 using a fixture or the like.

In this way, the first cover member 31 and the second cover member 32 restrict movement in all directions, up and down, left and right, and front and rear, and can be completely locked.

On the other hand, when the second cover member 32 is removed, as shown in FIG. 15, the operator covers the first cover from the front in a state where the first cover member 31 and the second cover member 32 are combined. A finger of one hand A is attached to the operation portions 54c and 56c of the engaging pieces 54 and 56 of the member 31, and a force is applied in a direction to bring the operation portions 54c and 56c closer to each other as shown in FIG. The engagement pieces 54 and 56 are bent to release the engagement between the step receiving portions 64b and 67b and the engagement step portions 54b and 56b. In this state, by applying a force so as to pull out the second cover member 32 forward with the other hand (not shown), all the locking and engagement are released, and as shown in FIG. The member 32 can be removed. Next, by removing the attachment portion, the first cover member 31 can be pulled out and removed.

Thus, according to the present embodiment, the cowl top cover 11 is configured by combining a plurality of cover members 31 and 32, and the two adjacent cover members 31 and 32 are connected to each other and attached to the vehicle. For the connection structure, the first cover member 31 is attached to the vehicle body 1, and the second cover member 32 is then slid rearward along the end portion 31 a of the first cover member 31. By pushing in, the locking portion 60 is inserted into the locking receiving portion 50 and locked. At the same time, the first engaging portion 61 is inserted into the first engaging receiving portion 51 and elastically engaged. In addition, the second engagement portion 62 is inserted into the second engagement receiving portion 52 and is elastically engaged and held so that the first cover member 31 and the first cover member 31 are moved in a predetermined direction. The second cover member 32 can be connected, the connecting work can be facilitated, and workability can be improved.

That is, in a sliding operation of a smooth work locus in one direction that pushes from the front to the rear along the first cover member 31 along the predetermined direction in which the fitting portion 38 is fitted to the edge portion 5a of the windshield 5, The second cover member 32 can be connected and fixed securely to the first cover member 31 previously attached to the vehicle body 1, and workability can be improved.

The first cover member 31 and the second cover member 32 are locked at one place and elastically engaged at two places, and are connected at three places separated from each other. The cover member 31 and the second cover member 32 are firmly and securely connected to each other, and the positions where the end portions 31a and 32a are abutted with each other are shifted so that the steps of the dividing line are accurately aligned so that the appearance is obtained. Can be improved easily.

In particular, for the cowl top cover 11 having a large height, the locking receiving portion 50, the first engagement receiving portion 51, and the second engagement receiving portion 52 are separated in the front-rear direction, and the first engagement receiving portion is separated. The portion 51 and the second engagement receiving portion 52, that is, the first engagement portion 61 and the second engagement portion 62 are connected to the vertical wall portion 34 extending vertically and are positioned in the vertical direction and the both side directions. Since the first cover member 31 and the second cover member 32 are positioned so as to be spaced apart from each other, positioning can be firmly controlled in the front-rear direction, the both-side direction, and the vertical direction in all directions. Therefore, even in a configuration having a large height dimension including the vertical wall portion 34 extending in the vertical direction, the influence due to the variation in the size of the vehicle body 1 is suppressed, and the state where the vertical wall portions 34 are aligned is stably maintained. The position where the end portions 31a and 32a are brought into contact with each other can be accurately matched, and the appearance can be easily improved without causing a surface difference.

Further, the edge portions 34La and 34Ra of the vertical wall portion 34 where the first cover member 31 and the second cover member 32 abut each other are bent in a crank shape, and the first side portion 34Lb extending in both directions is provided. 34Rb, second sides 34Lc, 34Rc extending upward from one end of the first sides 34Lb, 34Rb, and third side 34Ld extending downward from the other ends of the first sides 34Lb, 34Rb , 34Rd, and the first to third sides 34Lb, 34Lc, 34Ld, 34Rb, 34Rc, 34Rd abut each other, whereby the first cover member 31 and the second cover member 32 are brought into contact with each other. Further, it is firmly connected in both the side direction and the vertical direction, and it is possible to easily improve the appearance by accurately matching the positions where the end portions 31a and 32a are butted together.

The first engagement receiving portion 51 is not deformed with a first engagement piece 54 that is elastically deformed and a first facing surface portion 55a that is opposed to the upper side of the first engagement piece 54. A first counter plate portion 55, and the second engagement receiving portion 52 is positioned below the first engagement receiving portion 51 and elastically deformed second engagement pieces 56, and The second engaging plate 56 is provided with the second opposing plate portion 57 that is not deformed and has the second opposing surface portion 57a that opposes the lower side of the second engaging piece 56. While elastically sandwiching and holding the first engaging piece 54 of the receiving portion 51 and the first facing surface portion 55a, the second engaging portion 62 of the second engaging receiving portion 52 is retained. The first engagement portion 61 and the second engagement portion fixedly provided on the second cover member 32 in a state of being elastically sandwiched and held between the two engagement pieces 56 and the second facing surface portion 57a. The engaging portion 62 is a first counter plate portion 55 that is fixedly provided on the first cover member 31. The first cover member 31 and the second cover member 32 are fixed in the up-and-down direction. The first cover member 31 and the second cover member 32 are fixed in the vertical direction. The cowl top cover 11 which is firmly connected and has a large height can be easily improved in appearance by accurately matching the positions where the end portions 31a and 32a abut each other.

Further, since the first cover member 31 and the second cover member 32 are elastically engaged at two locations, the first cover member 31 and the second cover member 32 can be stably prevented from rattling. Can be linked.

In this way, the cowl top cover 11 having a large height is also not affected by variations in the dimensions of the parts on the vehicle body 1 side, and the cowl top cover in all directions including the front and rear direction, both side directions, and the vertical direction. Stable surface difference and front / rear position can be regulated with 11 only, and this state can be maintained and high quality appearance can be maintained.

Further, the first engagement piece 54 of the first engagement receiving portion 51 and the second engagement piece 56 of the second engagement receiving portion 52 are located close to each other in the vertical direction and the structure is vertically Since the operation portions 54c and 56c are projected, the first operation portion 54c of the first engagement piece 54 and the second operation portion 56c of the second engagement piece 56 are gripped with one hand. By operating and approaching each other, the engagement between the first engagement portion 61 and the first engagement receiving portion 51 and the engagement between the second engagement portion 62 and the second engagement receiving portion 52 are performed. At the same time, the locking portion 60 can be detached from the locking receiving portion 50, and can be removed by one-handed operation. The second cover member 32 can be removed from the first cover member 31. The workability to remove can be improved. As described above, the first cover member 31 and the second cover member 32 can be easily detached during maintenance, simplifying and detaching work can be simplified and improving workability of maintenance of the cowl portion 6 and the like of the vehicle. , Work in a short time. In addition, since an excessive force is not applied to the components of each part during the attachment / detachment work and there is no breakage or deformation, workability can be improved.

It should be noted that the operability can be improved by setting the vertical dimension (dimension L shown in FIG. 11) between the first operation part 54c and the second operation part 56c to about 30 mm or more and 150 mm or less. .

Further, since the latch receiving portion 50 and the first engagement receiving portion 51 are arranged side by side along the edge 41a of the first cover member 31 and aligned side by side, the edge 41a The first cover member 31 and the second cover member 32 are firmly connected to each other along the section, the position where the end portions 31a and 32a are abutted with each other can be accurately matched, and the appearance can be easily improved, and the connection structure Can be reduced in size, and a connecting structure can be arranged in a small space to improve the appearance.

Further, components such as the latch receiving portion 50, the first engagement receiving portion 51, the second engagement receiving portion 52, the locking portion 60, the first engaging portion 61, the second engaging portion 62, and the like. Since these are all formed integrally with the first cover member 31 and the second cover member 32 by injection molding, the structure can be simplified and the weight can be reduced.

Furthermore, it becomes possible to reduce the number of parts such as a separate clip that connects the first cover member 31 and the second cover member 32, thereby reducing the number of parts and the manufacturing cost.

In the above-described embodiment, the second cover member 32 is particularly related to the first cover member 31 side member in the vicinity of the first engagement portion 61 and the second engagement portion 62. A structure that stops or elastically engages can be provided to prevent positioning or disengagement of the engaging portion.

For example, as in the second embodiment shown in FIGS. 18 and 19, the first hook portion 81 is formed on the first side convex portion 65 at the tip of the first engaging portion 61, and the second A second hook portion 82 is formed on the second side convex portion 68 at the tip of the engaging portion 62, and a first hook receiving portion 83 is formed on the first engagement receiving portion 51. The second hook receiving portion 84 can be formed in the engagement receiving portion 52. The first hook receiving portion 83 is formed by notching the first opposing plate portion 55, that is, the upper flange portion 37 toward the rear side, and the second hook receiving portion 84 is the second opposing plate portion. 57, that is, the vehicle body mounting portion 35 is formed by notching the rear side. The hook portions 81 and 82 are formed integrally with the side convex portions 65 and 68, respectively. The first hook portion 81 is inserted into the first hook receiving portion 83, and further, the first opposing plate portion The upper surface of 55 is protruded so as to contact or elastically press. Further, the second hook portion 82 is inserted into the second hook receiving portion 84, and is further provided so as to abut or elastically press against the lower surface of the vehicle body attachment portion 35. The hook portion 81 and the second hook portion 82 sandwich the first counter plate portion 55 and the second counter plate portion 57, that is, the first cover member 31, from above and below.

Therefore, in this configuration, the hook portions 81 and 82 are inserted into the hook receiving portions 83 and 84 and locked in both directions, so that the first cover member 31 and the second cover member 32 are separated. Movement in both directions can be restricted. Further, the hook portions 81 and 82 are brought into contact with the upper surface of the first opposing plate portion 55 and the lower surface of the vehicle body attachment portion 35, so that the engagement portions 61 and 62 are engaged with the engagement pieces 54 and 56, respectively. The first cover member 31 and the second cover member 32 can be firmly connected and held by suppressing movement in the direction of releasing the engagement.

The structures of the hook portions 81 and 82 and the hook receiving portions 83 and 84 are both the first engaging portion 61 and the second engaging portion 62, that is, the first engaging receiving portion 51 and the second engaging portion. In addition to being provided on both of the engagement receiving portions 52, one of the first engagement portion 61 and the second engagement portion 62, that is, the first engagement receiving portion 51 and the second engagement receiving portion 52. It can also be provided in only one of them.

Further, as in the third embodiment shown in FIG. 20, the first operation portion 54c of the first engagement piece 54 and the second operation portion 56c of the second engagement piece 56 approach each other. Thus extending the cowl top cover 11 having a large height can improve the workability of removing the first cover member 31 and the second cover member 32 during maintenance or the like.

In each of the above embodiments, the first engagement receiving portion 51 is formed by being aligned in both directions with respect to the locking receiving portion 50, but is not limited to this configuration, and the locking receiving portion 50, The three engagement structures of the first engagement receiving portion 51 and the second engagement receiving portion 52, that is, the locking portion 60, the first engagement portion 61, and the second engagement portion 62, are mutually front and back. It is also possible to achieve stable connection by shifting the position in all directions including the direction, both sides, and the vertical direction.

In each of the above embodiments, the cowl top cover 11 divided into two parts has been described. However, the cowl top cover can be applied to three or more divided cowl top covers. Further, the main body 33 of the cowl top cover 11 can take an appropriate shape.

Further, the structure of the first cover member 31 located on the left side and the second cover member 32 located on the right side can be reversed.

In addition, with respect to the portion where the first cover member 31 and the second cover member 32 are abutted with each other, the structure in which each portion abuts, locks, or fits may have a dimensional error in addition to a structure that is completely in close contact. It is also possible to set a slight gap for absorption.

Further, each cowl top cover 11 can be broken at an appropriate position in order to absorb and protect the impact of a non-occupant colliding with the vehicle.

The present invention can be applied to a cowl top cover disposed between a windshield of a vehicle and a hood.
