Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an aromatic carboxylic acid-containing composition holding tank and a method for producing an aromatic carboxylic acid.
Aromatic carboxylic acids are usually produced in a suitable solvent. In addition, the aromatic carboxylic acid produced is usually a solid. For this reason, in the production of aromatic carboxylic acid, the product is often obtained as a liquid composition (for example, slurry) in which aromatic carboxylic acid is dispersed in a solvent.
Moreover, when manufacturing aromatic carboxylic acid, processes, such as reaction and crystallization, are normally performed in the holding tank corresponding to each process. At this time, the aromatic carboxylic acid is produced while adjusting the height of the liquid level in each holding tank from the viewpoint of improving the quality, production efficiency and safety. Therefore, the holding tank is usually equipped with a liquid level gauge for measuring the position of the liquid level.
An example of the liquid level gauge is a differential pressure type liquid level gauge. The differential pressure type liquid level gauge measures the pressure in the part above the liquid level in the holding tank (gas phase) and the pressure in the part below the liquid level in the holding tank (liquid composition). The pressure difference is calculated, and the position (height) of the liquid level is measured from the pressure difference.
By the way, many differential pressure type level gauges are provided with a conduit for guiding the liquid composition. If this conduit is blocked for any reason, it is difficult to accurately measure the position of the liquid level. In order to suppress this, for example, a heated heating medium (sealing liquid or the like) may be supplied to the conduit (see Patent Document 1).
However, in the technique described in Patent Document 1, the accuracy of the differential pressure type liquid level gauge sometimes decreases. This is presumably because the temperature and / or flow rate of the heat medium may fluctuate greatly for some reason in the technique described in Patent Document 1, and the accuracy is reduced due to this fluctuation.
The present invention was devised in view of the above problems, and an aromatic carboxylic acid-containing composition holding tank capable of stably improving the accuracy of the differential pressure type liquid level gauge while preventing the above-mentioned blockage and the same It aims at providing the manufacturing method of the used aromatic carboxylic acid.
As a result of intensive studies to solve the above problems, the inventors of the present invention have controlled the temperature and / or flow rate of the heating medium supplied to the conduit of the differential pressure type level gauge to maintain a certain range, thereby providing a differential pressure type. The inventors have found that the accuracy of the liquid level gauge can be stably improved, and have completed the present invention.

The state of the

Examples thereof include organic acids such as acetic acid, propionic acid and formic acid, and water. Among these, from the viewpoint of effectively utilizing the advantage of the aromatic carboxylic acid-containing composition holding tank 1 of the present embodiment that can be prevented from being blocked as described later, the aromatic carboxylic acid is precipitated from the solvent due to a change in temperature or the like. More specifically, acetic acid and water are preferable.

The
In addition, a gas (gas) 103 is filled above the

A baffle (not shown) may be provided in the
The width of the baffle is usually preferably 5% or more and 20% or less of the inner diameter of the
The number of baffles is not particularly limited, but it is usually preferably 2 or more and 10 or less. This is because the stirring efficiency can be improved.
The
Moreover, what is necessary is just to set to what extent the temperature in the

The
The material of the
Although there is no restriction | limiting in particular in the shape of the 1st conduit |
The inner diameter of the
Further, the length L 211 of the insertion portion in which the
The installation height of the
Here, the

The sealing liquid is not limited as long as it does not impair the pressure transmission function, but for example, silicon oil can be used.

The

The installation height of the

The

In addition, the
Further, when the

The first heat
In the present embodiment, the first heat

The first
The
The first
The installation position of the
The first
Further, the
The installation position of the
The first
The installation position of the

Steam (saturation temperature of 164 ° C.) can be used. In addition, for example, steam (saturation temperature of 127 ° C.) having a pressure of about 0.25 MPa that normally has a temperature of 110 ° C. or higher and 140 ° C. or lower can be used.
On the other hand, various oils such as organic, inorganic, silicone, fluorine, and mineral oils can be used as the hot oil. The temperature is usually 285 ° C. or higher and 330 ° C. or lower.

The first control means 283 is means for controlling the temperature and / or flow rate of the first heat medium so as to be maintained within a certain range. At this time, at least one of the temperature and the flow rate may be controlled, but it is preferable to control both. In the present embodiment, it is assumed that the

Specifically, the first flow rate control means 281 reads information sent from the

In step S20, it is determined from the flow rate value read from the
On the other hand, if the result of determination in step S20 is that the flow rate of the first heating medium is greater than or equal to the threshold value, processing proceeds to step S60.
In step S60, it is determined from the flow rate value read from the
On the other hand, as a result of the determination in step S60, if the flow rate of the first heating medium is equal to or less than the threshold value, the series of control is terminated as it is.
The first flow rate control means 281 that has finished the series of controls performs the same control again. By repeating the control in this way, the first flow rate control means 281 controls the flow rate of the first heat medium.

Specifically, the first temperature control means 282 reads information sent from the

In step s20, it is determined from the temperature value read from the
On the other hand, if the result of determination in step s20 is that the temperature of the first heating medium is equal to or higher than the threshold value, processing proceeds to step s60.
In step s60, it is determined from the temperature value read from the
On the other hand, as a result of the determination in step s60, if the temperature of the first heating medium is equal to or lower than the threshold value, the series of control is terminated as it is.
The first temperature control means 282 that has finished the series of controls performs the same control again. By repeating the control in this way, the first temperature control means 282 controls the temperature of the first heat medium.

At this time, at least one of the temperature and the flow rate may be controlled, but it is preferable to control both. In the present embodiment, it is assumed that the

Preferably it is 0.5 mol or more. On the other hand, with respect to 1 mol of heavy metal atoms, it is usually 10 mol or less of bromine atom, preferably 7 mol or less, more preferably 5 mol or less. By setting it as these ranges, catalyst activity increases.

And On the other hand, the heavy metal concentration is usually 10,000 ppm or less, preferably 5000 ppm or less, and more preferably 3000 ppm or less. By setting it to the lower limit or higher, the reaction rate increases, and by setting it to the upper limit or lower, the cost can be suppressed and the heavy metal concentration and bromine concentration in the effluent and exhaust gas can be reduced, which is preferable in terms of environment and safety.
As the solvent C, a solvent that can dissolve at least a part of the aromatic carboxylic acid that is usually produced is used. In addition, even if the aromatic carboxylic acid is insoluble or hardly soluble at normal pressure (hereinafter referred to as “normal pressure” unless otherwise specified) in the present invention, at least under pressure, Any material that can dissolve a part thereof may be used.
In addition, the solvent C is preferably a liquid or gas-liquid two layer during the reaction, and a solvent that does not chemically change the raw material or the target compound after the reaction is used. The boiling point of the solvent C at normal pressure is preferably 40 ° C. or higher, more preferably 50 ° C. or higher, still more preferably 60 ° C. or higher, preferably 200 ° C. or lower, more preferably 180 ° C. or lower, still more preferably 150 ° C. It is as follows. By setting it to the lower limit value or more, handling and recovery become easy, and by setting the upper limit value or less, solid-liquid separation and drying in the subsequent process become easy.
Although the kind of solvent C is not specifically limited, From the solubility and boiling point, it is preferable to contain aliphatic carboxylic acid, and the solvent which has these as a main component is more preferable. More preferred are solvents based on acetic acid, propionic acid, formic acid and butyric acid. The main component means that it accounts for 60% by weight or more of the total weight of the solvent. Among these, a solvent containing acetic acid as a main component is preferable because of solubility and ease of handling. Particularly preferred is a mixture of acetic acid and water. The ratio of acetic acid to water is usually 1 part by weight or more, preferably 5 parts by weight or more with respect to 100 parts by weight of acetic acid. Moreover, it is 40 weight part or less normally, Preferably it is 25 weight part or less, More preferably, it is 15 weight part or less. The reaction efficiency can be improved by making it below the upper limit value, and the amount of combustion (decomposition) of acetic acid can be further reduced by making it more than the lower limit value, thereby saving energy and economy. The aromatic carboxylic acid-containing composition holding tank of the present invention can be applied to the overall production of the aromatic carboxylic acid obtained by the above oxidation reaction. Among them, the aromatic carboxylic acid and the aromatic carboxylic acid are hardly soluble. It is preferable to apply to a combination with a certain solvent C. In particular, a combination of terephthalic acid and a solvent mainly composed of acetic acid.
In the said manufacturing method, it is preferable that the oxidation reaction of the alkyl aromatic compound A is normally performed in a pressurization state, ie, the pressure exceeding a normal pressure. In order to increase the reaction efficiency of the liquid phase oxidation, it is more preferable to set the pressure at which the mixture of the solvent C and the alkyl aromatic compound A can maintain the liquid phase at the reaction temperature. In this case, the reaction time (average residence time) is preferably 20 minutes or more, more preferably 30 minutes or more, and further preferably 40 minutes or more. This is because the reaction proceeds sufficiently to obtain a highly pure aromatic carboxylic acid. On the other hand, the reaction time is preferably 300 minutes or less, more preferably 150 minutes or less, still more preferably 120 minutes or less, and particularly preferably 90 minutes or less. This is because the loss due to the combustion of the solvent C is suppressed and the cost is reduced. Moreover, it is also preferable in that the capacity of the

The mother liquor G separated by the solid-
The aromatic carboxylic acid cake F separated from the mother liquor G by the solid-
In the
In order to avoid accumulation of impurities such as by-products and catalysts in the process, a part of the cleaning waste liquid J is sent to the
Further, the
Hereinafter, the description regarding the
The washing liquid I used for washing may be water or an organic solvent, and is not particularly limited, but is preferably compatible with the solvent C used in the
It is desirable that the pressure of the
When the mother liquor G or the washing drainage J is transferred to the reactor, it may be transferred to any reactor in the reactor. However, in order to increase the reaction efficiency, it is preferably transferred to the most upstream reactor.
When the solid-liquid separation and washing are performed under pressure, the obtained washing cake H is preferably dried by a drying
The type of the drying
According to the pressure release evaporation, the washing cake H can be dried without adding further energy. Therefore, it is preferable to evaporate as much of the adhering liquid as possible by the pressure release evaporation in terms of energy cost saving.
The discharge valve may be a continuous or intermittent discharge system, and the drying apparatus may include one discharge valve or a plurality of discharge valves. In addition, it is preferable to adjust the timing and the number of times so that the amount of the washing cake H retained in the powder retention tank is constant when the discharge is performed by the discharge valve.
In addition, you may perform both processes with the solid-liquid separation washing | cleaning apparatus 15 (equivalent to 15 of a broken line in the figure) which can perform a solid-liquid separation process and a washing | cleaning process with one apparatus. There is an advantage that the process can be simplified. As the solid-liquid separation and
Further, these three steps may be performed by a solid / liquid separation washing / drying device 17 (corresponding to a
When the aromatic carboxylic acid crystals K thus obtained are insufficiently dried, it is preferable to provide a heating and drying device after the
An aromatic carboxylic acid is obtained from the alkyl aromatic compound by the above-described steps. The obtained aromatic carboxylic acid may be used as it is, or may be subjected to a reduction step in order to increase the purity.
Examples of the reduction step include a hydrorefining process (consisting of a dissolution step, a hydrogenation step, a crystallization step, a solid-liquid separation step, a washing step, a drying step, etc.). The hydrorefining process will be described with reference to FIG. As the dissolving step, the aromatic carboxylic acid crystal K obtained by the above-described step is dissolved in the solvent L in the
The type of the solvent L is not particularly limited, but preferably contains water from the viewpoint of solubility, boiling point, and ease of handling. For example, when producing terephthalic acid, a solvent containing water as a main component is preferred, and more preferably Preference is given to a solvent in which 90% by weight is water, more preferably 100% by weight is water.
This process preferably uses a hydrogenation catalyst. For example, a group 8-10 metal catalyst such as ruthenium, rhodium, palladium, platinum, osmium is used. Of these, palladium is preferable. Usually, these are supported on activated carbon or the like and used as a fixed bed.
Subsequently, a hydrogenation step is performed in which hydrogen W is introduced into the
Thereafter, the liquid composition X in which the aromatic carboxylic acid crystal K is dissolved in the solvent L is transferred to the
Subsequently, the liquid composition X that has undergone the crystallization step is subjected to solid-liquid separation using, for example, the solid-

The present invention can be used in the field of producing aromatic carboxylic acids, and is particularly suitable for use in the production of terephthalic acid.
