Abstract
【解決手段】インクジェットプリンタに使用する液滴発生器(27)は高い作動周波数で長いインクジェット列を刺激することができる。液滴発生器は中央部分のための実質上均一な断面の区分と、異なる断面の2つの端区分とを有する。端区分は、端区分の共振周波数を中央部分の共振周波数に合致させるように調整する手段を有する。特に、このような手段は液滴発生器の頂部のカット部(25)からなる。液滴発生器はオリフィス列を振動させるための多重ローブ式の半径曲げモードを利用し、これらの振動モードは液滴発生器の長さにわたって実質上延びる少なくとも2列のトランスデューサ(18)により駆動される。トランスデューサは作動半径曲げモードのローブ構造体と矛盾しないように配置される。

Description
産業上の利用可能性及び利点本発明はインクジェット印刷の分野にとって有用であり、特に長い列のインクジェットプリンタのための改善された液滴発生器の構成を提供するという利点を有する。本発明の付加的な利点は高い作動周波数での長いインクジェット列のための刺激を提供することである。

Claims (6)
- オリフィス列から噴射されるジェット列を備えたオリフィス板のオリフィス板面に接着された流体空洞とを有する、インクジェットプリンタのための液滴発生器において、
液滴発生器の長さに沿って実質上延びる液滴発生器を振動モードで駆動するための少なくとも2列のトランスデューサ、を具備し、
前記振動モードは、前記液滴発生器の前記長さに沿って、かつ、半径曲げモードのローブに沿ってジェットを均一に刺激するようにオリフィスの列を振動させる少なくとも1つの対称性を有する複数のローブを持った、前記液滴発生器の半径曲げモードを含む、
ことを特徴とする液滴発生器。 - 前記少なくとも2列のトランスデューサが作動半径曲げモードの対称性と整合するように配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液滴発生器。
- 前記少なくとも2列のトランスデューサが圧電トランスデューサであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液滴発生器。
- 前記圧電トランスデューサが当該圧電トランスデューサの厚さモードで駆動されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の液滴発生器。
- 前記圧電トランスデューサが当該圧電トランスデューサの剪断モードで駆動されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の液滴発生器。
- 前記少なくとも2列のトランスデューサの各個々のトランスデューサが作動周波数近傍の周波数を有する軸方向の曲げモードの波長の1/2よりも大きな長さを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液滴発生器。
