また、爪開閉手段11が突出する方向に移動すれば、爪9それぞれはスプリング10の作用により係止部本体8内に向けて没するようになる。
なお、係止部本体8は鋼板を組み合せて爪9、爪開閉手段11それぞれが移動可能となるように組まれたものであるが、図において係止部7の構成を明確にするために係止部本体8を仮想線で示し、爪9を没方向に付勢するスプリング10の一端側を止める部材、また、爪開閉手段11を突出方向に付勢するスプリング10の一端側を止める部材もそれぞれ仮想線で概略的に図示した。

係止部7における爪9が突出している状態の吊り具1を徐々に吊り上げていけば、凹部内側面dそれぞれが傾斜していることから、その凹部内側面dに対する前記爪9の当接により係止部7が吊りアーム受け凹部cでの適正な位置に案内されることとなり、さらに爪9それぞれが凹部内側面dに当接した状態(図4)となれば焼結機用拡幅パレット台車が吊り上げられることとなる。
また、吊り上げていた焼結機用拡幅パレット台車を所定の位置に降ろし、支持梁2が焼結機用拡幅パレット台車のパレット部分に乗るまで吊り具1を下げれば、吊りアーム受け凹部cから係止部7が下がって凹部内側面dから爪9それぞれが離れる。そして、支持梁2がパレット部分に乗った状態で上記連結器5を下げることで下部吊りアーム3がアーム間開方向に回動し、上記爪開閉手段11が凹部奥面から離れて突出することで爪9それぞれが係止部本体8に引き込まれることとなり、吊りアーム受け凹部から下部吊りアーム3の係止部7が抜け出るようになる。

支持梁の端部それぞれに、前記支持梁から下垂する下部吊りアームが支持梁の長手方向に回動可能に枢支され、前記下部吊りアームの上端に支持梁側に向けて傾斜して連結されている上部吊りアームと支持梁の上方に位置して揚重機の吊りフックが掛け止められる連結器との間に補強部材が渡され、前記補強部材の一端が前記上部吊りアームにピン接合され他端が前記連結器にピン接合されていて、
前記下部吊りアームの下端に、焼結機用拡幅パレット台車の前記吊りアーム受け凹部に挿入可能な係止部を備え、
