Abstract
【解決手段】低レベル特徴検出系31は、コンテンツの画像信号、音声信号を解析することによって直接得られる特徴を検出する処理系であり、中レベル特徴検出系32は、低レベル特徴検出系31により得られた検出結果に基づいて特徴を検出する処理系であり、高レベル特徴検出系33は、中レベル特徴検出系32により得られた検出結果に基づいて特徴を検出する処理系である。信号処理装置においては、低レベル特徴検出系31により低レベルの特徴が検出され、中レベル特徴検出系32により中レベルの特徴が検出され、高レベル特徴検出系33により高レベルの特徴が検出されるといったように、特徴の検出がいわば階層的に行われる。本発明は、コンテンツを扱う録画機器に適用することができる。

Claims (6)
- コンテンツの画像信号と音声信号から、それぞれ異なる特徴を表す複数の第1の特徴データを検出する第1の特徴検出手段と、
前記第1の特徴検出手段により検出された複数の前記第1の特徴データのそれぞれに対して、前記第1の特徴データに基づいてデータを検出する特徴に応じた重みをコンテンツ毎またはコンテンツのジャンル毎に変えて設定する設定手段と、
前記設定手段により重みが設定された複数の前記第1の特徴データに基づいて、それぞれ異なる特徴を表す複数の第2の特徴データを検出する第2の特徴検出手段と
を備える信号処理装置。 - 前記第2の特徴検出手段により検出された複数の前記第2の特徴データに基づいて、選択することを許容する、コンテンツに関する操作を決定し、ユーザに提示する提示手段と、
前記提示手段により提示された操作の中からユーザにより選択された操作を実行する実行手段と
をさらに備える請求項1に記載の信号処理装置。 - 前記提示手段は、画面表示または音声出力によって、選択することを許容するコンテンツに関する操作を提示する
請求項2に記載の信号処理装置。 - 前記第1の特徴検出手段は、音声信号に基づいて前記第1の特徴データを検出する複数の処理系と、画像信号に基づいて前記第1の特徴データを検出する複数の処理系を有しており、それぞれの処理系において前記第1の特徴データを検出し、
前記第2の特徴検出手段は複数の処理系を有しており、それぞれの処理系において前記第2の特徴データを検出する
請求項1に記載の信号処理装置。 - コンテンツの画像信号と音声信号から、それぞれ異なる特徴を表す複数の第1の特徴データを検出し、
検出した複数の前記第1の特徴データのそれぞれに対して、前記第1の特徴データに基づいてデータを検出する特徴に応じた重みをコンテンツ毎またはコンテンツのジャンル毎に変えて設定し、
重みを設定した複数の前記第1の特徴データに基づいて、それぞれ異なる特徴を表す複数の第2の特徴データを検出する
ステップを含む信号処理方法。 - コンテンツの画像信号と音声信号から、それぞれ異なる特徴を表す複数の第1の特徴データを検出し、
検出した複数の前記第1の特徴データのそれぞれに対して、前記第1の特徴データに基づいてデータを検出する特徴に応じた重みをコンテンツ毎またはコンテンツのジャンル毎に変えて設定し、
重みを設定した複数の前記第1の特徴データに基づいて、それぞれ異なる特徴を表す複数の第2の特徴データを検出する
ステップを含む処理をコンピュータに実行させるプログラム。
