Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lumber mildew-proof composition solving working efficiency, metal corrosiveness, mildew-proof property, and cost effectiveness as a lumber mildew-proof composition used in combination with a water soluble decay-proof ant-proof agent for lumber pressure impregnation composed of a copper salt or copper oxide as a principal component.
SOLUTION: The lumber mildew-proof composition containing, as effective components, 2-n-octyl-4-isothiazoline-3-one and alkyl dimethyl ammonium compound having 8-18C alkyl groups is used in combination with the diluted solution of the decay-proof ant-proof agent for lumber pressure impregnation composed of the copper salt or the copper oxide as the principal component. By this combined use, the mildew-proof property is remarkably improved without impairing the decay-proof property and ant-proof property when these compositions are combined rather than when these are added alone and the mildew-proof performance can be maintained for a long period of time, and further, metal corrosiveness is reduced.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT

Description

The present invention relates to a wood fender composition used to prevent the occurrence of wrinkles on wood. Wood antibacterial composition used in combination with water-soluble preservative ant for water-based wood pressure injection mainly composed of copper salt or copper oxide to protect wood used especially as building and outdoor parts from decay and insect damage The present invention relates to a wood antifungal composition capable of maintaining antifungal performance over a long period of time without impairing antiseptic and antproof properties.

Wood materials used for building materials, plywood, etc. are pressure-injected with antiseptic, ant-proofing agents and insecticides into wood to prevent decay and damage caused by insects such as termites. ing. For such antiseptics and anticides, chemicals containing aqueous copper, arsenic and chromium, such as CCA, have been used, but they contain heavy metals that are highly toxic and are harmful to human livestock. There is a risk of polluting the environment. In recent years, copper salt or copper oxide and triazole-based antiseptic compounds, copper salt or copper oxide and quaternary ammonium compounds (Patent Documents 1 and 2) have been used as antiseptic and antifungal agents to protect highly safe wood instead of CCA. The water-soluble preservative antiseptic for wood injection is 10 to 50 times diluted with water and injected into the wood under pressure. The injection amount is as large as 200 to 500 kg / m 3, and there is a problem that wrinkles are generated before the wood is dried and the commercial value is remarkably lowered. In order to prevent this, a mildew-proofing agent is added to the diluted solution of the above-mentioned water-soluble wood pressure-injecting antiseptic / preservative and pressure-injected.

Many antifungal agents for wood have been commercialized, but the physical properties of the above water-soluble preservatives for wood pressure injection, that is, the preservative component contains a metal salt, water insoluble copper salt or oxidation Since copper is dissolved in water with ammonia, ammonium salt or amines and its liquidity is alkaline, most commercially available antifungal agents do not dissolve, do not disperse, and do not exhibit long-term antifungal performance. .

Accordingly, isothiazoline compounds having a high initial antifungal effect have been used and proposed. (Patent Documents 1, 3, and 4) However, isothiazolone compounds containing a halogen element such as 4-chloro-2-methylisothiazoline-3-one and 4,5-dichloro-2-octyl-4-isothiazoline-3- When ON is used, it is difficult to use it at high concentration because it is corrosive to metal and has problems such as damage to the pressure pouring pot, pump, piping, and other devices, and skin irritation. And the biggest problem is that when the water-soluble wood preservative preservative for alkali injection is alkaline, the isothiazolone compound containing halogen element decomposes and the concentration decreases rapidly, so daily process control (concentration control) Is very complicated, and it is necessary to add a new isothiazolone compound containing a halogen element in order to maintain the concentration.

The present invention relates to a wood fender composition used to prevent the occurrence of wrinkles on wood, which is a problem of the prior art, and in particular, is a water-soluble wood additive mainly composed of a copper salt or copper oxide. It is an object of the present invention to provide a wood antibacterial composition with improved workability, metal corrosiveness, antifungal property and economy as a wood antibacterial composition used in combination with a preservative antifungal agent for pressure injection.

As a result of earnest research on the wood antiseptic and antiseptic composition, the present inventor has obtained 2-n-octyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (hereinafter abbreviated as OIT) as an active ingredient and an alkyl group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms. When an antifungal composition containing a dialkyldimethylammonium compound having an active ingredient as an active ingredient is used in combination with a dilute solution of a water-soluble pressurizing preservative for water-based wood based on copper salt or copper oxide, The present inventors have found that the cocoon effect and the anti-corrosion effect can be maintained over a long period of time, and that the workability is good and the metal is not corrosive, leading to the present invention.

The dialkyldimethylammonium compounds having an OIT and an alkyl group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms, which are active ingredients of the wood antifungal composition of the present invention, are widely used as antiseptics and antifungal agents. However, when it contains an OIT and a dialkyldimethylammonium compound having an alkyl group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms as an active ingredient, rather than adding each independently to a dilute solution of a water-soluble wood pressure-injecting antiseptic and antifungal agent, The present inventors have found that the fouling performance is drastically improved and that the fouling performance is maintained for a long time without impairing the antiseptic and ant-proof properties. In addition, compared with conventionally used and proposed isothiazolone compounds containing a halogen element, the metal oxide is less corrosive, and the biggest disadvantage is the decomposition of the dialkyldimethyl having an OIT of the present invention and an alkyl group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms. A mixture containing an ammonium compound as an active ingredient has almost no decomposition and is excellent in workability and economy.

Figure 2009023258

The dialkyldimethylammonium compound having an alkyl group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms in the present invention has the general formula (1)
Figure 2009023258

(R1 and R2 are the same or different and each represents an alkyl group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms. X- represents a counter ion). Examples of the counter ion include a halogen ion, a sulfate ion, a phosphate ion, and an organic acid ion, and a chlorine ion is preferable. Any compound can be used as long as it is a dialkyldimethylammonium compound, but didecyldimethylammonium chloride (hereinafter abbreviated as DDAC) is preferable, and water-soluble wood pressurizing mainly containing a copper salt or copper oxide as a main component. A synergistic effect with OIT can be expected in the antifungal property in the diluted solution of the antiseptic and antifungal agent for injection.

OIT which is an active ingredient of the wood antifungal composition of the present invention and an alkyl group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms are added to a dilute solution of a water-soluble wood preservative antiseptic agent mainly composed of copper salt or copper oxide. The mixing ratio in the case of adding the dialkyldimethylammonium compound is 1:49 to 49: 1, more preferably 1:19 to 19: 1 by weight. If the mixing ratio is other than this, a synergistic effect cannot be obtained in the antifungal property, so that the amount added to the diluting solution increases, which is disadvantageous in terms of economy.

In addition, preservative for pressure injection of water-soluble wood mainly composed of a copper salt or a copper oxide as a main component of a dialkyldimethylammonium compound having an OIT and an alkyl group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms as an active ingredient of the wood antifungal composition of the present invention There are no particular restrictions on the form of addition to the dilute solution of the termite preventive, but examples include solubilizers and emulsions.

When used as a solubilizer, various solvents that can dissolve OIT and a dialkyldimethylammonium compound having an alkyl group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms, such as alcohols, glycols, glycol ethers, both of which are hydrophilic solvents Used in water, ketones and water. Furthermore, you may add a nonionic and / or anionic surfactant as needed.

When used as an emulsion, various solvents that can dissolve OIT and a dialkyldimethylammonium compound having an alkyl group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms, such as aliphatic hydrocarbons and aromatic carbonization, both of which are hydrophobic solvents, are used. Those dissolved in hydrogen, esters or the like are used. Furthermore, you may add a nonionic and / or anionic surfactant as needed.

Commercially available products that are commonly used as preservatives for water-soluble pressure-injecting water-soluble wood based on copper salts or copper oxides can be used. For example, Maitrek ACQ (manufactured by Kosipu Leatherbing Co., Ltd.) ), Tanaris CY (manufactured by Coppers Arch Chemical Co., Ltd.) and the like. When adding this invention composition to these dilution liquids, it adds in 50-1000 ppm as a sum total of OIT and the dialkyl dimethyl ammonium compound which has a C8-C18 alkyl group. At concentrations below this range, the antifungal effect is not fully exhibited, and at concentrations above this range, it is disadvantageous in terms of economy.

Next, although an example and a comparative example of the present invention are given and explained, the present invention is not limited to these. Table 1 shows the composition of the compositions of Examples and Comparative Examples. In addition, the numerical value of a mixing | blending is weight%.

The wood antibacterial composition of the present invention exhibits excellent antifungal performance, and in particular, the wood antifungal of the present invention in a dilute solution of a water-soluble preservative antiseptic agent for pressurization of water based on copper salt or copper oxide. Excellent antifungal properties are obtained when the composition is added and wood is treated. And since it is a wood protection composition that can maintain the protection performance for a long period of time without impairing the antiseptic and ant protection properties, it is not necessary to add a new wood protection composition and it is economical. Compared to conventional and proposed antifungal agents, the pressure injection device is less corrosive.
