本発明は、複数のFANを持つ装置に係り、特に振動が少なくなるようにFANの回転
角を制御することで、装置内外の振動を低減し、ハードディスクなどの振動によるデータ
の書き込み不正や読み出し不正を防止することのできるFAN制御方法に関する。

増加している。また、近年ハードディスク等記録媒体の記録密度増加も著しく、トラック
間等の距離が狭いため、振動起因によるトラックずれ等のデータ書き込み不正や読み出し
不正が発生しやすくなっている。

のパルスが発生する時点t2まで、FANの回転は止まる。それにより、パルスbによっ
て発生する振動bも、振動が止まる。したがって、パルスを間引くことによって、振動b
は、振動aに比べてt2−t1分、位相が遅れることになる。パルスを間引く個数を制御す
ることにより、振動の位相を制御することが出来る。
