Abstract
【解決手段】100℃での動粘度がISO 3014で測定して2mm2/sを超え7mm2/s未満であり、かつ炭素数25未満の鉱物炭化水素を5%(w/w)以下の含有量で含有するフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導ホワイトオイルを、食品と接触する用途に使用する。

Description
更にフィッシャー・トロプシュホワイトオイルの引火点は、ISO 2592に従って、270℃未満、好ましくは260℃未満、更に好ましくは250℃未満で、かつ220℃を超え、好ましくは225℃を超え、更に好ましくは230℃を超えることが好ましい。
フィッシャー・トロプシュ合成工程は、いわゆる商用Sasol法、商用Shell中間蒸留物法又は非商用エクソン法に従って行なってよい。これらの方法及び他の方法は、EP−A−776959、EP−A−668342、US−A−4943672、US−A−5059299、WO−A−9934917及びWO−A−9920720に記載されている。これら文献の殆どには、前記水素化異性化/水素化分解工程(2)が記載されている。
(a)フィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導原料を水素化分解/水素化異性化する工程であって、該フィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導原料中の炭素原子数60以上の化合物と炭素原子数30以上の化合物との重量比が少なくとも0.2であり、かつフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導原料中の化合物の30重量%以上が30個以上の炭素原子を有する該工程、
(b)工程(a)の生成物を1種以上の低沸点蒸留物フラクションと、高沸点ホワイトオイル前駆体フラクションとに分離する工程、
(c)工程(b)で得られたホワイトオイル前駆体フラクションに対し流動点降下工程を行なう工程、及び
(d)工程(c)の生成物を蒸留によりホワイトオイルを単離する工程、
による。
(a)フィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導原料中の炭素原子数が60以上の化合物と炭素原子数が30以上の化合物との重量比が少なくとも0.2で、かつフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導原料中の化合物の30重量%以上は30個以上の炭素原子を有するフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導原料を水素化分解/水素化異性化する工程、
(b)工程(a)の生成物を1種以上の低沸点蒸留物フラクションと、高沸点のホワイトオイル前駆体フラクションとに分離する工程、
(c)工程(b)で得られたホワイトオイル前駆体フラクションに対し流動点降下工程を行なう工程、
(d)工程(c)の生成物を蒸留によりホワイトオイルを単離する工程、及び
(e)工程(d)で得られたホワイトオイルを重合体とブレンドする工程、
によるフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導ホワイトオイルの製造を含む方法によって得ることができる。

(c)工程(b)で得られたホワイトオイル前駆体フラクションに対し流動点降下工程を行なう工程、及び
(d)工程(c)の生成物を蒸留によりホワイトオイルを単離する工程、
による。
以上のようにして得られたホワイトオイルフラクションの色特性を向上するため、最終仕上げ工程を行なってよい。好適な仕上げ処理の例は、いわゆる硫酸処理法、水素化仕上げ法及び吸着法である。硫酸処理は、例えば一般教本“Lubricant Base Oil and Wax Processing”,Avilino Sequeira,Jr,Marcel Dekker Inc.,New York,1994,第6章226〜227頁に記載されている。
本発明を以下の非限定的実施例により更に説明する。
一般にEP−A−1382639の実施例1に記載の方法に従い、量、及び蒸留物フラクションからフラクションを分離するカット点を調節して、4種のフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導ホワイトオイルを製造した。
フィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導ホワイトオイルの特性を下記第1表に示す。FT1〜3は本発明で使用されるホワイトオイルであり、FT4は比較用である。
スチレン(工業技術用グレード)97重量%及び実施例1のフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導ホワイトオイルFT1〜4を3重量%それぞれ用いて、食品接触用に好適な4種のポリスチレン組成物を製造した。
Claims (9)
- 100℃での動粘度がISO 3014で測定して2mm2/sを超え7mm2/s未満であり、かつ炭素数25未満の鉱物炭化水素を5%(w/w)以下の含有量で含有するフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導ホワイトオイルを、食品と接触する用途に使用する方法。
- フィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導ホワイトオイルの100℃での動粘度が2.5mm2/sを超える請求項1に記載の使用法。
- フィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導ホワイトオイルが、炭素数25未満の鉱物炭化水素を3%(w/w)以下、好ましくは1%(w/w)以下の含有量で含有する請求項1又は2に記載の使用法。
- フィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導ホワイトオイルの5重量%回収沸点が、ASTM D2887で測定して391℃を超える請求項1〜3のいずれか1項以上に記載の使用法。
- フィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導ホワイトオイルの5重量%回収沸点が400℃を超える請求項4に記載の使用法。
- フィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導ホワイトオイルの40℃での動粘度が、ISO 3014で測定して55mm2/s未満である請求項1〜5のいずれか1項以上に記載の使用法。
- フィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導ホワイトオイルの引火点が、ISO 2592で測定して270℃未満、好ましくは260℃未満で、かつ220℃を超える請求項1〜6のいずれか1項以上に記載の使用法。
- 食品と接触する用途に使用される重合体組成物の可塑剤として使用する請求項1〜7のいずれか1項以上に記載の使用法。
- (a)フィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導原料中の炭素原子数が60以上の化合物と炭素原子数が30以上の化合物との重量比が少なくとも0.2で、かつフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導原料中の化合物の30重量%以上は30個以上の炭素原子を有するフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導原料を水素化分解/水素化異性化する工程、
(b)工程(a)の生成物を1種以上の低沸点蒸留物フラクションと高沸点のホワイトオイル前駆体フラクションとに分離する工程、
(c)工程(b)で得られたホワイトオイル前駆体フラクションに対し流動点降下工程を行なう工程、
(d)工程(c)の生成物を蒸留により、100℃での動粘度がISO 3014で測定して2mm2/sを超え7mm2/s未満であり、かつ炭素数25未満の鉱物炭化水素を5%(w/w)以下の含有量で含有するホワイトオイルを単離する工程、及び
(e)工程(d)で得られたホワイトオイルを重合体とブレンドする工程、
によりフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導ホワイトオイルを製造することを特徴とする食品との接触用重合体組成物の製造方法。
