Claims (4)

  1. 電池(750)に電流を印加するステップと、
    前記電池(750)の電流が最大電流(Ipeak)に達する第1の時点(t)を測定するステップと、
    前記電池(750)の端子電圧が最大電圧(Vpeak)に達する第2の時点(t)を測定するステップと、
    前記電池(750)内の欠陥の大きさに相当する時間差分d=|t−t|を算出するステップと、
    を含む電池欠陥検出方法。
  2. d≧Dであるかどうかを判定するステップをさらに含み、
    ここでDは、前記電池(750)に容認できない大きさの欠陥があることを示す遅延に相当する値であること、
    を特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池欠陥検出方法。
  3. に対するDの割合の算出結果に基づいて、前記電池(750)に容認できない大きさの欠陥があることを示す、請求項2に記載の電池欠陥検出方法。
  4. 安全電圧を決定するステップであって、前記電池(750)が前記安全電圧に達するまで直線的に変化する電流が印加されるステップと、
    前記電池の端子電圧が前記安全電圧に達した時点で、直線的に減少する電流を印加するステップと、
    をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の電池欠陥検出方法。
