Description
(i)セルロース系繊維を含む水性懸濁液を配備する段階と、
(ii)全ての高剪断箇所の後で上記懸濁液に対し、
4.0meq/gより高い荷電密度を有する陽イオン性ポリマである第1ポリマと、
500,000より大きい分子量を有する第2ポリマと、
陰イオン性ポリマである第3ポリマと、
を添加する段階と、
(iii)得られた懸濁液を脱水して紙材を形成する段階と、
を含む、紙材を製造する方法に関する。
(i)セルロース系繊維を含む水性懸濁液を配備する段階と、
(ii)全ての高剪断箇所の後で上記懸濁液に対し、
2.5meq/gより高い荷電密度を有する陽イオン性アクリルアミド系ポリマである第1ポリマと、
500,000より大きい分子量を有するアクリルアミド系ポリマである第2ポリマと、
陰イオン性ポリマである第3ポリマと、
を添加する段階と、
(iii)得られた懸濁液を脱水して紙材を形成する段階と、
を含む、紙材を製造する方法にも関する。
(i)セルロース系繊維を含む水性懸濁液を配備する段階と、
(ii)全ての高剪断箇所の後で上記懸濁液に対し、
2.5meq/gより高い荷電密度を有する陽イオン性ポリマである第1ポリマと、
水分散性ポリマである第2ポリマと、
陰イオン性ポリマである第3ポリマと、
を添加する段階と、
(iii)得られた懸濁液を脱水して紙材を形成する段階と、
を含む、紙材を製造する方法に関する。
R1は、HまたはCH3であり;
R2およびR3は各々、H、または好適には、適切には1〜3個の炭素原子、好適には1〜2個の炭素原子を有するアルキルである炭化水素基であり;
Aは、OまたはNHであり;
Bは、2〜8個の炭素原子、適切には2〜4個の炭素原子を有するアルキルもしくはアルキレン基、または、ヒドロキシ・プロピレン基であり;
R4は、Hであるか、または好適には、1〜4個の炭素原子、好適には1〜2個の炭素原子を有する炭化水素基、または、適切にはフェニルもしくは置換フェニル基である芳香基を含む置換基であって通常的には1〜3個の炭素原子、適切には1〜2個の炭素原子を有するアルキレン基により窒素に結合され得るという置換基であり、適切なR4はベンジル基(−CH2−C6H5)であり;且つ、
X−は、通常は塩化物などのハロゲン化物である陰イオン性の対イオンである。
(i)陽イオン性アクリルアミド系ポリマである第1ポリマ、陽イオン性アクリルアミド系ポリマである第2ポリマ、および、陰イオン性シリカ系粒子である第3ポリマ;
(ii)陽イオン性ポリアルミニウム化合物である第1ポリマ、陽イオン性アクリルアミド系ポリマである第2ポリマ、および、陰イオン性シリカ系粒子である第3ポリマ;
(iii)陽イオン性アクリルアミド系ポリマである第1ポリマ、水溶性または水分散性の陰イオン性アクリルアミド系ポリマである第2ポリマ、および、陰イオン性シリカ系粒子である第3ポリマ;
(iv)陽イオン性ポリアルミニウム化合物である第1ポリマ、水溶性または水分散性の陰イオン性アクリルアミド系ポリマである第2ポリマ、および、陰イオン性シリカ系粒子である第3ポリマ;
(v)陽イオン性アクリルアミド系ポリマである第1ポリマ、陽イオン性アクリルアミド系ポリマである第2ポリマ、および、水溶性または水分散性の陰イオン性アクリルアミド系ポリマである第3ポリマ;および、
(vi)陽イオン性ポリアルミニウム化合物である第1ポリマ、陽イオン性アクリルアミド系ポリマである第2ポリマ、および、水溶性または水分散性の陰イオン性アクリルアミド系ポリマである第3ポリマ。
各実施例においては、以下の添加剤が使用された。
C−PAM 2:アクリルアミド(60モル%)およびアクリルオキシエチルトリメチル塩化アンモニウム(40モル%)の重合により調製されると共に、約300万の重量平均分子量および約3.3meq/gの陽イオン性荷電密度を有する陽イオン性アクリルアミド系ポリマ。
C−PAM 3:アクリルアミド(88モル%)、アクリルオキシエチルトリメチル塩化アンモニウム(10モル%)およびジメチル・アクリルアミド(2モル%)の重合により調製されると共に、約600万の重量平均分子量および約1.2meq/gの陽イオン性荷電密度を有する陽イオン性アクリルアミド系ポリマ。
C−PAM 4:アクリルアミド(90モル%)およびアクリルオキシエチルトリメチル塩化アンモニウム(10モル%)の重合により調製されると共に、約600万の重量平均分子量および約1.2meq/gの陽イオン性荷電密度を有する陽イオン性アクリルアミド系ポリマ。
PAC:約8.0meq/gの陽イオン性荷電密度を有する陽イオン性ポリ塩化アルミニウム。
C−PAI 1:約200,000の重量平均分子量および約7meq/gの陽イオン性荷電密度を有する陽イオン性ポリアミン。
C−PAI 2:約400,000の重量平均分子量および約7meq/gの陽イオン性荷電密度を有する陽イオン性ポリアミン。
A−PAM:アクリルアミド(80モル%)およびアクリル酸(20モル%)の重合により調製されると共に約1200万の重量平均分子量および約2.6meq/gの陰イオン性荷電密度を有する陰イオン性アクリルアミド系ポリマ。
A−X−PAM:アクリルアミド(30モル%)およびアクリル酸(70モル%)の重合により調製されると共に約100,000の重量平均分子量および約8.0meq/gの陰イオン性荷電密度を有する陰イオン性架橋アクリルアミド系ポリマ。
シリカ:ケイ酸の陰イオン性無機縮重合ポリマであって、約21のS値を有するコロイド状アルミニウム改質シリカゾルであって約800m2/gの比表面積を備えたシリカ系粒子を含むというシリカゾルの形態のポリマ。
ベントナイト:ベントナイト。
プラグを取り外すと共に、原料が存在する側とは逆の側にてワイヤに対して真空を付与したときに該ワイヤを通して所定体積の原料の排水を行うための時間を測定するというスウェーデンのアクリビ社(Akribi)から入手可能な動的排水分析器(DDA)により、排水(脱水)性能が評価された。
(i)1000rpmにて20秒間だけ攪拌;
(ii)2000rpmにて10秒間だけ攪拌;
(iii)添加を行い乍ら1000rpmにて15秒間だけ攪拌;および、
(iv)脱水時間を自動的に記録し乍ら上記原料を脱水。
実施例1に係るDDAを用いて、排水性能が評価された。
(i)0〜2回の添加を行い乍ら1000rpmにて25秒間だけ攪拌;
(ii)2000rpmにて10秒間だけ攪拌;
(iii)0〜3回の添加を行い乍ら1000rpmにて15秒間だけ攪拌;および、
(iv)脱水時間を自動的に記録し乍ら上記原料を脱水。
実施例2の手順に従い、排水性能が評価された。
実施例3の手順に従い、排水および保持性能が評価された。この実施例においては、実施例2において使用された原料および攪拌および添加の様式が同様に使用された。
実施例3の手順に従い、排水および保持性能が評価された。この実施例においては、実施例2において使用された攪拌および添加の様式が同様に使用された。
実施例2の手順に従い、排水性能が評価された。この実施例においては、実施例5において使用された原料および攪拌および添加の様式が同様に使用された。
実施例2の手順に従い、排水性能が評価された。この実施例においては、実施例5において使用された原料および攪拌および添加の様式が同様に使用された。
Claims (16)
- (i)セルロース系繊維を含む水性懸濁液を配備する段階と、
(ii)全ての高剪断箇所の後で上記懸濁液に対し、
4.0meq/gより高い荷電密度を有する陽イオン性ポリマである第1ポリマと、
500,000より大きい分子量を有する第2ポリマと、
陰イオン性ポリマである第3ポリマと、
を添加する段階と、
(iii)得られた懸濁液を脱水して紙材を形成する段階と、
を含む、紙材を製造する方法。 - (i)セルロース系繊維を含む水性懸濁液を配備する段階と、
(ii)全ての高剪断箇所の後で上記懸濁液に対し、
2.5meq/gより高い荷電密度を有する陽イオン性アクリルアミド系ポリマである第1ポリマと、
500,000より大きい分子量を有するアクリルアミド系ポリマである第2ポリマと、
陰イオン性ポリマである第3ポリマと、
を添加する段階と、
(iii)得られた懸濁液を脱水して紙材を形成する段階と、
を含む、紙材を製造する方法。 - (i)セルロース系繊維を含む水性懸濁液を配備する段階と、
(ii)全ての高剪断箇所の後で上記懸濁液に対し、
2.5meq/gより高い荷電密度を有する陽イオン性ポリマである第1ポリマと、
水分散性ポリマである第2ポリマと、
陰イオン性ポリマである第3ポリマと、
を添加する段階と、
(iii)得られた懸濁液を脱水して紙材を形成する段階と、
を含む、紙材を製造する方法。 - 前記第1ポリマは有機ポリマである、請求項1または3に記載の方法。
- 前記第1ポリマは陽イオン性アクリルアミド系ポリマである、請求項1、3または4に記載の方法。
- 前記第1ポリマは少なくとも500,000の分子量を有する、請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1ポリマは無機ポリマである、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記第1ポリマはポリ塩化アルミニウムである、請求項1、2または7に記載の方法。
- 前記第2ポリマは1,000,000より大きい分子量を有する。請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記第2ポリマは陽イオン性である、請求項1乃至9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第2ポリマは陰イオン性である、請求項1乃至9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第3ポリマは無機ポリマである、請求項1乃至11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第3ポリマはケイ酸またはケイ酸塩系のポリマである、請求項1乃至12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第3ポリマはコロイド状シリカ系粒子を含む、請求項1乃至13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第3ポリマは有機ポリマである、請求項1乃至10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第3ポリマはアクリルアミド系ポリマである、請求項1乃至10および14のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
