Abstract

本発明は、複合材料からなるバンド(3)のドレープ成形システムに関し、本システムは、巻き戻しヘッド(20)、バンド(3)を加熱して複合材料を硬化させるために使用される光源(4)を備えたオリジナルアセンブリ、及び前もって堆積された積層(2)とバンド(3)をアセンブルするために所望の圧力を加えるか、又は同じ圧力を支持体(1)に加える1対のローラ(6a及び6b)から構成される。加熱は、ローラ(6a及び6b)から離れた位置において集中的に、且つローラに対して垂直に行われるので、前記ローラは弾性材料から作成することができ、便利である。これにより、ローラは、支持具(1)のクロスカーブに応じて均一な圧力を加えることができる。

Description

本発明の主題は、予備含浸させた可撓性のバンドを引張り成形するためのデバイスである。
本発明は、複雑な形状の複合部品の生産であって、予備含浸させたバンドに垂直に向けられたエネルギー源による加熱モードを用いた多量の熱供給を必要とするあらゆる種類の複合部品の生産に関し、本発明では、ローラから構成される加圧手段によって支持体上におけるバンドの成形が確実に行われる。
長繊維強化部及びポリマーマトリックスから構成される複合体構造は一般に、重ね合わせた予備含浸バンドを手動又は自動で適切な方向にドレープすることにより生産される。予備含浸バンドは、通常、熱硬化性樹脂の重合及び熱可塑性樹脂の硬化と呼ばれる変換サイクルを通過する。サイクル数及び作業コストを削減するために、部品製造のステップ数を削減することが望ましい。このように、予備含浸バンドの堆積と硬化を同時に行うことにより、構造体を単一のステップで生産することができる。現行の堆積ヘッドは、材料を巻き戻してガイドするシステム、切断システム、硬化のための加熱システム、及び支持体上で予備含浸バンドの引張り成形を確実に行うための成形用加圧システムの組合せを用いる。いくつかの例が、US6451152B1、6390169B1、及びEP1334819A1に記載されている。
本発明者は、加熱システム及び加圧システムに特に注目した。既知の加熱システムは、パルス化した高温の空気又は窒素を吹き付ける手段を有し、これにより、樹脂が酸化し、結果として構造の折り返し部分の接着が弱くなるという欠点を有する。加熱領域は広く、加圧ローラにまで達しているので、耐熱金属ローラを用いることが必要であるが、このような剛性ローラは、可変の湾曲を有する複雑な形状には適さない。周りを取り囲むデバイスは、様々な種類の熱汚染(材料の劣化等)に曝される。熱源の再生は容易でなく、外部環境の影響を受ける。加熱の定常性及び均一性の確保は困難である。
他に、レーザ又はダイオードを含む加熱システムがある。これらの加熱範囲は比較的限定されていて狭いが、予備含浸バンドが支持体上に位置する場所で加熱及び硬化を行うために、エネルギービームが実質的にローラに向けられ、よってローラが強く加熱されるため、やはり上記の欠点を有する。加えて、ビームはローラの下の予備含浸バンドに到達するように、概して斜めに向けられる。このように、放出領域の位置が支持体の湾曲に応じて変化するので加熱条件が予備含浸バンドの全長に亘って一定しない。
本発明は、部品の品質を改善し、材料の変換のサイクル及びこれに連関するコストを削減することを目的とする。現在生じている問題が解決され、複雑な形状の上にあらゆる幅の可撓性の予備含浸バンドを堆積させる操作を完全自動化することができ、加圧が自動的に均一化される。
用いられるエネルギー源は、YAG型レーザ又はダイオード装置からなる光学的なものとすることができ、本発明によるエネルギービームは、堆積される材料にほぼ直角に向けられる。加えて、このエネルギービームは2つのローラの間を通過する。このように光ビームが垂直に入射することにより、得られるエネルギー密度の均一性及び定常性が確保される。
バンドの硬化、及び既に堆積された積層複合体がある場合、そのような複合体へのバンドの統合は、バンドの厚み内における、エネルギー源によって供給された表面エネルギーの熱伝導によって達成される。熱を局部的に供給することにより、熱汚染問題の全て、及びデバイス及び加圧ローラの過熱を排除できるという利点が得られる。
光ビームは、堆積された材料からなるバンドの幅に合わせて調整され、焦点を作る又は作らない一組の発散及び集束レンズを用いて変換させることができる。変更可能なダイオードの組み合わせ又はビームの電流測定走査によっても、バンドの幅を調整することができる。堆積させるバンドに加えるエネルギー密度に、定常性及び均一性を確保しようという試みがなされる。レーザ自体又はレーザによる光学的変換によって生成される光信号の横方向の乱れを無効にするマスクを用いることもできる。
一般に、ローラの並びの長手方向より横方向に広い熱分布、又は単に長手方向に狭い熱分布を提供する手段、例えばレーザビーム又はダイオード、レーザビーム又はダイオードアレイ、マスク、走査装置の使用により、加熱が加圧と同時に行われる本方法においては、変形可能なローラの使用が更に容易になる。何故なら、加熱が、確実に重合を行うのに十分である一方で、ローラの下方で小さく保たれることにより、剛性ローラと同じ抵抗力のある材料で生成する必要がないためである。従って、ローラは、バンド成形機能を満足させるように比較的小さな間隔で配置することができる。
表面エネルギー密度はまた、ポリマーの放射率に合わせて制御され、且つPID型のアルゴリズムで調節された高温計によって制御することができる。
所定の幅及び開口を有するノズルと、光ビームの影響の周囲環境を嫌気性にする流れとを用いて、ビームの影響を受ける材料の表面に一定の窒素流を投射することができる。このようにしてポリマーの酸化が回避される。
本発明の別の必須の態様は、加圧システムに関する。本加圧システムは、2つの変形可能なローラを備え、これらの2つのローラによって、バンドの張力の確保、既に堆積された積層複合体又は支持体として機能する装置上へのバンドの配置、光ビームに対してほぼ直角なバンドの位置決め、及び特定の必要性に応じて調整された静水圧の印加を確実に行うことができる。エネルギービームの両側のローラは、ビーム到達箇所である、予備含浸バンドの大きな表面、特にこれら2つのローラ間の表面に均一な圧力を付加することを可能にし、同時に、通常の設計の場合よりもビームから離れた位置に配置されるので好都合である。従って、これらのローラに当たる熱が小さくなるので、それらをエラストマー等の変形可能な材料に変換することができる。これにより、これらのロ−ラは、印加する圧力の均一性を損なうこと無く、堆積装置の湾曲の局部的変化に適応する。
要約すると、本発明の最も一般的な形態は、樹脂を予備含浸させた可撓性のバンドを引張り成形するデバイスに関し、本デバイスはバンドの加熱手段、及びバンドの加圧手段を含み、加圧手段が、バンドの各部分に連続して適用された平行軸を有する2つのローラを含み、このローラが弾性材料からなる表面を有すること、並びに加熱手段がこれらのローラの間に配置されて、これらのローラの間でバンドにほぼ垂直に熱放射を加えることを特徴とする。
以下に、図面を参照して本発明を説明する。
先ず、図1に関して説明を行う。堆積装置1、つまり生産される部品の支持体であって部品の形状を決定する支持体が設けられる。積層複合体2、又は予備含浸バンドが既にこの支持体の表面上に堆積されている。堆積又は硬化すべき可撓性の予備含浸バンド3は、既知の種類の巻き戻しシステム20によって積層複合体2上を前方へ送られる。光エネルギー源4は、堆積されるバンド3の領域に向けられている。エネルギー源4は、YAG型レーザ又はダイオードとすることができる。参照番号5で示される光エネルギー源4から発せられたビームは、ビームが到達するバンド3にほぼ垂直である。
1対のローラ6a及び6bが、装置1上の本デバイスの前方(図1の右側)から見て、ビーム5の前と後とに配置される。剛性の平行軸を有するローラ6a及び6bは、変形可能なエラストマーから作成されており、従って装置1の湾曲の局部的な変化、特に図2に示すような横方向の変化に適合する。ローラ6a及び6bの周囲と、それらローラの間のバンド3の比較的大きな表面に亘って圧力が均一に保たれている。ローラ6a及び6bには押付けシステム7が設けられる。この押付けシステム7は、上板21とローラ6a及び6bの支持部材との間で圧縮されるばねで構成することができる。この支持部材は、ビーム5の断面を画定する開口部22を設けたマスク8と、マスク8に接続してローラ6a及び6bの剛性軸11を支持する棒状部23とから構成することができる。この場合、本デバイスはまた、例えばPID制御アルゴリズムにより、光エネルギー源4を調節する手段24と結合された高温測定制御手段9を有する。本デバイスはまた、ローラ6a及び6bの間で容器25に接続されたノズル10のような窒素流推進システムを有する。これら要素の全ては、おそらく容器25と調節システム24を除き、相互に又は上板21に接続され、図示しないロボットアーム又は移動式支持ユニットから構成することができる手段によって装置1上で一体に動く。
次に図3、図4、及び図5について説明する。これらの図面は、ビーム5が光ファイバ12の端部から放射可能であることを示す。この場合のビームを符号13で示すが、ビーム5と異ならない。このビームは、本デバイスの長手方向又は前方に集束させるレンズ16及び横方向に発散させるレンズ17を含む1対のレンズによって拡大又は縮小することができ、その結果ビーム13は拡大14し、続いて別の方向に縮小15し、端部で非常に長い点となる。別の構成では、図4に示すように、光ビーム13を有する電流測定走査システム18を用いることができ、これにより所望の幅全体に亘って横方向にバンド3を走査できる。この幅はもちろん調整可能である。別のレンズ構成も考慮可能である。
図5は、発光ダイオード19のアレイを示す。これらのダイオードは全て共通のエネルギー源26に結合されており、アレイの数、及び従ってアレイの幅は、例えば上板21に一体化された横棒27上に新たなダイオードを接着することによって可変である。
全部がエラストマーで作成されているローラを、硬い、例えば金属性の芯を中心に有し、可撓性周辺バンドを1つだけ有する同じ寸法のローラに置換できる。

Claims (10)

  1. 樹脂を予備含浸させた可撓性のバンド(3)を引張り成形するためのデバイスであって、バンドの加熱手段、及びバンドの加圧手段を備え、
    加圧手段が、バンドの各部分に連続して適用された平行軸を有する2つのローラ(6a、6b)を含み、これらのローラの表面が弾性材料から作成されていること、及び加熱手段(4)がローラ間に配置されて、ローラ間のバンドにほぼ直角に熱放射を与えることを特徴とする、引張り成形デバイス。
  2. ローラ(6a、6b)の上方、及び加熱手段(4)の下方に配置され、且つ放射の断面を画定する開口部(22)が設けられたマスク(8)を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の引張り成形デバイス。
  3. 加熱手段がレーザを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の引張り成形デバイス。
  4. 加熱手段がダイオードアレイ(19)を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の引張り成形デバイス。
  5. 熱ビームの大きさを調整するための少なくとも1つのレンズ(16、17)を含むことを特徴とする、請求項3又は4に記載の引張り成形デバイス。
  6. ローラが、エラストマーのバンドによって包まれた金属性の芯を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載の引張り成形デバイス。
  7. 加熱手段の電力のサーボ調整のためのシステム(9、24)を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1ないし6のいずれか1項に記載の引張り成形デバイス。
  8. ローラ(6a、6b)の前方に対して横方向に、加熱手段によって生成された熱放射ビームを走査するための装置(18)を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1ないし7のいずれか1項に記載の引張り成形デバイス。
  9. バンドを支持する装置(1)に向かってローラを押し付けるための弾性手段(7)を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1ないし8のいずれか1項に記載の引張り成形デバイス。
  10. ローラ間でバンド上にガスを吹き付けるための手段を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1ないし9のいずれか1項に記載の引張り成形デバイス。
