Claims (6)
- 複数のネットワーク接続ポイント(25)と、
前記ネットワーク接続ポイント間の物理的な接続を、断続的に、または、周期的に反復してセットアップするスイッチング手段(20)と、
ネットワーク接続ポイント(25)での接続の切断を識別する検出手段(26)と、
を備え、さらに、
前記ネットワーク接続ポイント(25)を介して接続されたネットワーク・ステーション(10、12、13、14)からのログオン・メッセージおよびログオフ・メッセージを評価する評価手段(22)と、
ログオンされたネットワーク・ステーションを記録する記録手段(23)と、
前記検出手段(21)がネットワーク接続ポイント(25)での接続の切断を識別したときにネットワーク・ステーション(10、12、13、14)からのログオフ・メッセージをシミュレートするログオフ・メッセージ作成手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする、ネットワーク接続スイッチング・ユニット(11)。 - 前記ログオフ・メッセージ作成手段は、前記ログオフ・メッセージのための正しいアドレス情報を確認するために、前記記録手段(23)にアクセスして前記ログオフ・メッセージを作成する、請求項1に記載のネットワーク接続ユニット(11)。
- 前記ログオフ・メッセージ作成手段は、前記ログオフ・メッセージを複数、または、全てのネットワーク接続ポイント(25)を介して送信するために、前記ログオフ・メッセージの送信を周期的に繰り返すか、または、包括的なアドレス指定を使用してログオフ・メッセージを複数、あるいは全てのネットワーク・ステーション(10、12、13、14)に対して同時に送信する、請求項1または2に記載のネットワーク接続スイッチング・ユニット。
- 前記ログオフ・メッセージ作成手段は、「シンプル・サービス・ディスカバリー・プロトコル」に基づいて設計されており、「ssdp: byebye message」のようにログオフ・メッセージを作成する、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のネットワーク接続スイッチング・ユニット(11)。
- 前記検出手段は、ネットワーク・ポイント(25)での接続の前記切断を識別し、前記記録手段(23)内のレジスタ(24)に接続される、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のネットワーク接続スイッチング・ユニット(11)。
- 当該ネットワーク接続スイッチング・ユニット(11)は、ユニバーサル・プラグアンドプレイ・システムに基づいて動作するネットワークにおいて動作するように設計されてなる、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のネットワーク接続スイッチング・ユニット(11)。
