Description

The present invention relates to a rotary multi-needle sewing machine, and more specifically, a multi-needle embroidery sewing machine that enables embroidery sewing, and a sequin supply device that can supply sequins one after another to needle holes in the embroidery sewing machine. The present invention relates to a rotary multi-needle sewing machine that can be sewn one after another with the embroidery sewing machine.

Conventionally, sequin supply devices are widely known. For example, this type of sequin supply device is disclosed in Patent Document 1.
In the sequin supply device disclosed in the above-mentioned Patent Document 1, a main frame is provided for a support member attached to the machine frame, and the main frame is provided with a front end of a sequin that is continuous in a strip shape. A feeding device that includes a guide path that guides toward a supply point in the guide path, and further pushes the tip of the sequin connected in a strip shape that is positioned in the guide path toward a protruding space that exists ahead of the supply point. Is provided.
In this conventional sequin supply device, as shown in FIG. 1 of Patent Document 1, the sequin supply device is disposed beside the head of the embroidery sewing machine.
By operating the feeding device in the sequin supply device, the tip of the sequin that is continuous in a strip shape protrudes from the supply point toward the protruding space, so that the end of the sequin is from the side of the needle drop hole position in the embroidery sewing machine. Supply.
On the other hand, the needle bar in the embroidery sewing machine is lowered to cut off the sequin pieces protruding from the sequins that are connected in a band, and the sewing thread is pierced into the sequin pieces using the needles attached to the needle bar and the sequin pieces are sewn. Like to do.

As described above, the sequin supply device disclosed in Patent Document 1 is configured to “supply the front end of the sequin from the side of the needle drop hole position in the embroidery sewing machine”.
On the other hand, the embroidery sewing machine does not have a cloth presser. This is because the sequin is supplied from the side to the needle hole of the embroidery sewing machine, so that the cloth presser is not placed in order to prevent the sequin piece from being damaged by being pressed.
Therefore, when sewing sequin pieces on the cloth, the needle bar of the sewing machine moves up and down, but when pulling out the needle pierced through the hole of the sequin piece, the cloth is pulled together to lift up the cloth. It will be "flapping". Due to the “flapping” of the cloth, the sequin piece on the upper surface of the cloth is shifted from the planned sewing position.
This has caused a problem in that the sewn state of the sequin pieces varies, and as a result, the entire embroidery pattern is destroyed and the quality of the embroidery product is deteriorated.

Even if it is intended to dispose the cloth presser on the embroidery sewing machine, the member for pressing the cloth in the cloth presser is on the movement trajectory of the sequin piece from the supply point of the sequin supply device to the needle drop hole of the sewing machine (see Patent Document 1). It cannot be placed on the left side of the needle shown in Fig.1. Therefore, the cloth pressing member is placed only on the right side of the needle shown in Fig. 1 of Patent Document 1 and its planar shape is reduced.
If only one side of the needle drop position is pressed with such a small cloth pressing member, it is not possible to prevent such “flapping” of the cloth. Therefore, the idea of providing a cloth presser does not occur.

The purpose of this application is to select a plurality of needle bars arranged side by side and a cloth presser attached thereto when sewing with different types of thread through each needle of a plurality of needle bars. The needle bar can be used for multi-color sewing, as well as the needle bar of any of the plurality of needle bars arranged in parallel on the needle bar holding frame 8 for sequin sewing. Make it available for selection.

Another purpose is to lower the needle bar when sewing the sequin piece onto the cloth, and then to lift the needle bar and remove the needle that has pierced the hole in the sequin piece. So that it can be pulled out while holding down.

Another object of the present invention is to make it possible to selectively use sequin pieces sequentially supplied from a single sequin supply device by rotating a plurality of cloth pressers.
Other objects and advantages will be readily apparent from the drawings and the following description associated therewith.

As described above, according to the present invention, when the needles of a plurality of needle bars are sewn in a state in which, for example, different types of threads are passed, a plurality of needle bars arranged side by side and a cloth attached thereto are arranged. Since the presser can be selectively used for sewing, there is a feature that multicolor sewing is possible.

Further, according to the present invention, the position of the supply point in the sequin supply device E is determined so that the movement trajectory 107 of the sequin piece hole 106 from the supply point 111 toward the needle drop hole 2 is the rotation of the needle bar holding frame 8 in the embroidery sewing machine C. Since the configuration is such that it is positioned on the extended line 13 of the line connecting the center point 11 and the needle drop hole position 2, there is an advantage that the dimension between both sides of the cloth presser member 37 can be reduced. As described above, when the outer width dimension W1 of the presser foot member 37 is reduced, sequin sewing is performed at any location of the “plural embroidery sewing presser portions 37a arranged closely” with respect to a narrow range. The fabric presser member 37 can be exchanged. As a result, for example, a right needle bar or a central needle bar can be selected and used for sequin sewing by selecting a favorite needle bar.
This means that when the operator wants to collect embroidery stitches efficiently by collecting the color threads with a high selection frequency among a plurality of color threads (the needle bar near the center has a short rotation distance, Sewing efficiency is increased because it can be changed in a short time.) The effect that a needle bar for sequin sewing can be added to the group can be expected.

Furthermore, since the present invention can reduce the size between both sides of the presser foot 37 as described above, the sequin piece that superimposes the planar shape of the presser foot 37 in the presser foot 36 on the needle drop hole 2 in the lowered state. A shape in which two cloth presser claws 39 protrude from the base portion 38 toward both sides of the sequin piece 104 so that the cloth G on both sides of the sequin piece 104 can be pressed by the presser surface 39a without pressing the 104. There is a feature that can be.
This is because when the sewn piece 104 is sewn to the cloth G and the needle bar 16 that has been lowered rises and the needle 18 comes out of the cloth, the two presser surfaces of the presser member 37 of the presser member 36. With the fabric G on both sides of the sequin strip 104 firmly held in 39a, the needle 18 comes out of the fabric G and rises, so the fabric G is stable without flapping, and the sequin strip 104 on the upper surface of the fabric G is also , The cloth G is sewn while being in a predetermined sewing position. Therefore, there is a quality effect that can provide a high quality embroidery product.

Further, as described above, in the present invention, the presser member 37 in the presser foot 36 can press the cloth G on both sides of the sequin piece 104 with the presser face 39a of the two presser foot claws 39. Even so, the projecting direction of the two cloth presser claws 39 projects along the line 13 connecting the rotation center point 11 of the needle bar holding frame 8 and the needle drop hole position 2 in the embroidery sewing machine C. As described above, the outer width dimension W1 of the two presser pawls 39 has a feature that can be narrowed.
Therefore, the presser foot 37 having the shape in which the two presser foot pawls 39 are protruded from the plurality of “embroidery sewing presser portions 37 a” existing in the radial direction of the rotation center point 11 of the needle bar holding frame 8. There is an advantage that a plurality of arrays can be arranged side by side in a narrow space for arrangement.
As can be understood from FIGS. 12 and 14, the sequin pieces 104 successively supplied from the single sequin supply device E are rotated by rotating the plurality of sequin sewing presser members 37. By selecting and using, the sequin piece 104 can be sewn using the needles 18 with different colors, and an epoch-making effect can be provided that can provide a colorful and highly embroidery product.

As is well known, the needle bar drive mechanism 26 transmits the rotational movement of the main shaft to the elevating body 31 through the members 27 to 29 in the vertical direction.

Next, the cloth presser 36 will be described. As can be understood from FIGS. 2 and 3, the cloth presser is attached to each of the plurality of needle bars.
The presser foot is integrally connected with a presser member 37 (or presser portion 37a) for pressing the fabric G and a linkage member 43 for linking the presser member 37 (or presser portion 37a) with the needle bar. Is formed.
In FIG. 12, reference numeral 37a indicates a embroidery sewing presser portion, and 37 indicates a sequin sewing presser member.
The planar shape of the presser foot portion 37a for embroidery sewing shown in FIGS. 12A and 12B is such that the ring portion 41 protrudes from the base portion 38a so that the needle drop hole 2 can be surrounded, and the needle is located at the center position. A through hole 41b is formed.
Next, as can be understood from FIGS. 12 (A), (C), and (D), the planar shape of the fabric retainer member 37 for sequin sewing in the fabric retainer is superimposed on the needle drop hole 2 in the lowered state. Without pressing the sequin piece 104 to be pressed, the two cloth presser claws 39 are directed from the base portion 38 to both sides of the sequin piece 104 so that the cloth G on both sides of the sequin piece 104 can be pressed by the presser surface 39a. The shape is protruding.
Reference numeral 40 denotes a gap formed between the two cloth presser claws 39.
Next, in the linking member 43 of the presser foot, the needle bar is inserted into the needle bar through holes 45 and 47 formed in the first spring seat 44a and the guide part 46, respectively. It is mounted so that it can move up and down relatively.

Further, among the plurality of needle bars, the planar shape of each of the cloth presser members 37 in the cloth presser attached so as to move up and down in synchronization with each needle bar of any plurality of needle bars. Is in the shape described above (see FIG. 12). When a plurality of cloth presser members 37 having the above configuration are used (when arranged side by side or at intervals), the sequin strip 104 supplied from the sequin supply device E is rotated by rotating the needle bar holding frame 8, and the plurality A plurality of the cloth pressers may be selected and selectively sewn with different threads attached to the corresponding needle bars.
Furthermore, the number and arrangement of the embroidery sewing presser foot 37a and sequin sewing presser foot 37 can be arbitrarily selected in accordance with the user's requirements such as sewing contents and usage conditions. Any one of a plurality of needle bars arranged side by side can be arbitrarily selected for sequin sewing, and each can be provided with a presser foot member 37 and used for sewing. It has a high degree of usage characteristics.

As is well known, the cloth presser moves up and down in synchronization with the needle bar. This operation will be described in detail. The elevating body 31 moves up and down via the needle bar drive mechanism 26 by the rotation of the main shaft. When the elevating body 31 moves downward, the needle bar presser 31a pushes the needle bar, so that the needle bar moves downward. As a result, the first spring seat 44a is pushed down via the second spring 21, the first spring 20 is compressed and the cloth presser moves downward. As shown in FIG. 2, the cloth presser member 37 (or the cloth presser portion 37 a) of the cloth presser comes into contact with the upper surface of the cloth G and presses the cloth. Furthermore, after the needle bar moves downward, the needle pierces the cloth G and reaches the bottom dead center, the upper thread and the lower thread (not shown) are entangled as is widely known. Thereafter, when the elevating body 31 moves upward, the needle bar is removed from the cloth G by the second spring 21. Next, the needle bar and the cloth presser are raised to the top dead center by the first spring 20. Such an operation may be repeated, and the needle bar and the cloth presser may be moved up and down synchronously and used for sewing.
Furthermore, in the above case, as is well known, the needle bar, the cloth presser, the embroidery frame F, etc. may be used in synchronism (with associated operations as shown in FIG. 13). .

The threading holes provided are shown respectively. Reference numeral 60 denotes a positioning piece fixed to the frame. Reference numeral 61 denotes a missing portion in the positioning piece 60, and the width dimension may be a dimension that allows a drive lever 72 in a scale drive mechanism 70 described later to pass therethrough. The above 60 can prevent other balances from falling without disturbing the vertical movement of the needle bar and the balance at the position corresponding to the needle drop hole 2. When the balance holding frame 52 moves sideways, the driver 74 is at the position shown in FIG. 2 and the balance 53 does not fall.
Next, the balance drive mechanism 70 will be described. As is well known, the balance drive mechanism 70 is constituted by members indicated by reference numerals 71 to 77. A cam 71 is attached to the main shaft and includes a cam groove 71a. When the air cylinder 94 expands and contracts in the arrow 97 direction, the main frame 100 moves up and down in the arrow 98 direction with respect to the support member 90. Note that 100d indicates the raised position of the main frame 100.
As shown in FIG. 6, a reel 102 for winding and storing a sequin 103 (hereinafter also simply referred to as “sequin 103”) connected in a strip shape is pivotally attached to the upper portion 100a of the main frame 100 in a freely rotatable manner. Has been. The sequin 103 wound around the reel 102 is guided through the rotor 108 to the guide path 110 provided in the lower part 100b of the main frame 100.
The support member 90 may be formed of an integral material, or may be formed by connecting a plurality of members.
Further, the attaching means of the support member 90 to the machine frame is an easily attachable / detachable stopper such as a bolt or a bolt and a nut so that the sequin supply apparatus E can be removed when the sequin supply apparatus E is not used. Good. Further, the fixing portion 90a may be pivotally attached so that the support member 90 can be rotated in the direction of the arrow 92 in FIG.

As shown in the figure, the guide path 110 is formed in a tunnel shape having an open top (see FIG. 9), and the width and height of the guide path 110 may be set to dimensions that allow the sequin 103 to pass through the guide path 110. As shown in FIGS. 9 and 11, the bottom member 112 is formed with a slit-like recess 112 b for positioning a distal end 126 of an arm portion 125 of a delivery member 123 described later. Reference numeral 115 denotes a leaf spring for pressing the sequin 103 connected in a strip shape from above so that the sequin 103 facing the guide path 110 can smoothly enter the guide path 110 against the upper surface of the bottom member 112.
As shown in FIG. 10, the width dimension of the guide path 110 may be adjusted by widening or narrowing the distance between the two side members 113, 113 using a known adjusting mechanism 119.

Next, the delivery device 120 in the sequin supply device E will be described.
8 and 11, a reference numeral 121 indicates a delivery member for engaging and pushing the sequin 103 connected in a strip shape located in the guide path 110. The delivery member 121 pivotally attaches the main body 122 to the drive body 133 in the delivery drive mechanism 130 so as to be able to reciprocate with a pivot 122a, and has an L-shaped arm 125 at the tip. Reference numeral 126 in the arm portion 125 denotes an engaging portion for engaging with the hole 106 of the sequin 103. The engagement portion 126 is located on the rear side (the right side in FIGS. 8 and 11) so that the engagement portion 126 is detached from the sequin hole 106 when the delivery member 121 moves backward (moves in the right direction in FIGS. 8 and 11). ) Is formed with a diagonal contact portion 127. Reference numeral 128 denotes a spring for urging the delivery member 121 downward.
Next, reference numeral 130 in the delivery device denotes a delivery drive mechanism for reciprocating the delivery member 121 in the front-rear direction (left-right direction in FIGS. 6 to 8). The delivery drive mechanism 130 is configured by members indicated by reference numerals 131 to 138. 131 is two column members (also referred to as blocks) fixed to the lower part 100b of the main frame 100, 132 is a rod supported between the two column members 131 and 131, and 133 is rods 132 and 132. On the other hand, a driving body (also referred to as a slider) that is reciprocally mounted in the front-rear direction, 136a is a driving shaft of the stepping motor 136, 137 is an arm attached to the driving shaft 136a, 138 is an arm 137 and the driving body 133. Indicates the link that connects The delivery drive mechanism 130 transmits the reciprocating rotational motion of the drive shaft 136a to the delivery member 121 through the arm 137, the link 138, and the drive body 133 as a back-and-forth motion.

The sequin supply device E operates the delivery device as is well known, and causes the tip 103a of the sequin 103 located in the guide path 110 to be continuous in a strip shape to protrude from the supply point 111 toward the protruding space 118. This operation is repeated to supply the sequin pieces 104 to the protruding space 118 one after another. This operation will be described in detail.
When the delivery device is operated and the delivery member 121 moves forward in the direction of arrow 150 shown in FIG. 11, the sequin 103 is moved in the direction of arrow 150 with the engagement portion 126 of the arm portion 125 engaged with the hole 106 of the sequin 103. Push forward. Then, the tip 103a of the sequin 103 is projected from the supply point 111 toward the projecting space 118 located above the needle drop hole 2 (see the position indicated by the alternate long and short dash line in FIG. 11A).
Next, when the delivery member 121 is retracted in the direction of the arrow 151 shown in FIG. 11B, the engaging portion 126 is disengaged from the hole 106 of the sequin 103 by the contact portion 127 of the arm portion 125 and is retracted by one pitch. . Such an operation may be repeated so that the tip 103a of the sequin 103 existing in the guide path 110 protrudes one after another toward the protruding space 118 existing ahead of the supply point 111. This operation may be performed in synchronism with the needle bar and the embroidery frame F (related operation as shown in FIG. 13).
The pitch (sending amount) of the sequin 103 sent out by the sending device may be determined by controlling the number of steps of the stepping motor 136 in the sending drive mechanism 130 as is well known. Furthermore, as shown in FIGS. 10 and 11, the forward / backward movement of the delivery member 121 may be adjusted using a known adjustment member 140 (a member including the members 140a and 140b).
Next, FIG. 13 shows the state of related operations such as a needle, a cloth presser, an embroidery frame F, a needle bar switching mechanism, a delivery drive mechanism 130, and sequins. These operations may be performed by computer control by the control device H as is well known.

An operation of sewing the sequin 104 onto the cloth G using the above-described configuration will be described (for the operations of the embroidery sewing machine C and the sequin supply device E, see the above description).
First, as shown in FIG. 5, the sequin supply device E in which the passage locus 107 is positioned so as to overlap the extension line 13 operates a delivery device (see FIG. 11) 120 provided in itself, and is connected in a band shape. The leading end of the sequin is protruded from the supply point 111 toward the protruding space 118.
Accordingly, as shown in FIG. 11A, the tip 103a of the sequin 103 can be superposed above the needle drop position 2 in the embroidery sewing machine C.

In the above case, the movement trajectory 107 of the hole 106 of the sequin piece 104 from the supply point 111 toward the needle drop hole 2, and the extension line 13 connecting the rotation center point 11 of the needle bar holding frame and the needle drop hole position 2. As shown in FIG. 12D, it is possible to make the dimension W1 between both sides of the presser foot member 37 the same as the width dimension on the outer side of the two presser foot claws 39 and make it narrower. It is to be.
Therefore, when the space for installing the presser foot member 37 is sufficient in implementation, even if the angle of the movement locus 107 with respect to the extension line 13 has an error of about ± 10 degrees, it is allowed. If the error is such a degree, even if the direction of the presser foot claw 39 of the presser foot member 37 is parallel to the movement locus 107, the dimension W1 between the both sides of the presser foot member 37 with respect to the extension line 13 is This is because there is not much difference from the width dimension on the outside of the presser foot nail 39.

Next, the needle bar and the cloth presser in the embroidery sewing machine C are lowered in the direction of arrow 152. Then, as shown in FIG. 11 (B), the drive part 116b of the needle stop member 17 pushes down the cutting member 116 in the direction of the arrow 152, penetrates the needle tip, and the sequin piece protruding from the sequin 103 connected in a strip shape. 104 is cut off and polymerized in the needle drop hole 2. Further, the needle attached to the needle bar reaches the bottom dead center, entangles the sewing thread 63 with the lower thread, and moves up to sewn the sequin piece 104.
When the needle bar rises and the needle pierced through the hole 106 of the sequin piece 104 comes out, the presser foot is lowered at the timing shown in FIG. 13, and as shown in FIG. With the member 37 firmly pressing the cloth G on both sides of the sequin piece 104 with the cloth pressing surface 39a, the needle comes out of the cloth G and rises. When both sides of the cloth G are pressed in this way, the cloth G is stabilized without “flapping”, the position of the sequin piece 104 on the upper surface of the cloth G is also stabilized, and the cloth G is sewn while being in a position to be sewn with respect to the cloth G. .
Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 13, the cloth presser also starts to rise, and the embroidery frame F further moves.
Next, as shown by the second needle in FIG. 13, the needle bar, the presser foot, and the embroidery frame F are synchronized to perform sewing without operating the feeding device in the sequin supply device E. As a result, the second needle is directly inserted into the cloth beyond the sequin 103 connected in a strip shape without penetrating the thread into the hole of the sequin 103, and the sequin piece 104 is fastened to the cloth.
Such an operation may be repeated, and the embroidery sewing machine C and the sequin supply device E may be synchronized and moved up and down to sew sequins.
Although FIG. 13 illustrates the case where the needle is pierced and sewn into the hole of the sequin 103 every two needles, the needle may be pierced and sewn into the hole of the sequin 103 every needle.

Next, FIGS. 14A, 14 </ b> B, and 14 </ b> C showing an example different from the cloth presser portion 37 of FIGS. 1 to 12 in terms of the cloth presser member will be described. 14 (A), 14 (B), and 14 (C) can press the cloth G more stably.
14 (A), (B), and (C), the portions that are considered to have the same or equivalent configuration as those in FIGS. 1 to 12 are the same as those in FIGS. 1 to 12 described above. An alphabetic g is added to the reference numerals, and redundant description is omitted.
As shown in FIG. 14, the planar shape of the cloth presser member 37g in the cloth presser 36g is such that the cloth G on both sides of the sequin piece 104g does not press the sequin piece 104g to be superimposed on the needle drop hole 2g in the lowered state. Are pressed from the base portion 38g forward (downward in FIG. 14A) toward the both sides of the sequin piece 104g. Further, two cloth presser claws 39g project from the base part 38g rearward (upward in FIG. 14A) to increase the presser surface for the cloth, and the planar shape is formed in an H shape. . Therefore, as can be understood from FIGS. 14A, 14B, and 14C, the upper surface of the cloth G can be firmly pressed by the H-shaped cloth pressing surface 39ag, so that the cloth G can be held in a more stable state. There is a feature that can be sewn.
In addition, the cloth pressing member 37g shown by FIG.14 (C) shows the example provided with the needle penetration hole 41bg.

Next, FIG. 14D showing an example in which the presser members 37 (or presser portions 37a) and 37g and the linking member 43 in the presser foot are detachable and replaceable will be described. The presser foot member (any of the presser foot members provided with reference numerals 37, 37a, 37g) and the linkage member 43 are formed as separate members, and are detachably connected. A known configuration may be used for the configuration of such a connecting portion. For example, 42 is a presser foot member 37 (or presser portion 37a), a female screw hole formed in the upper portion of 37g, 48 is a through hole formed in the lower portion of the linkage member 43, 49 is inserted through the through hole 48 and into the female screw hole 42. The structure may be a screw that is screwed to integrally connect the presser foot 37 (or presser portion 37a), 37g and the linking member 43 together.
Thus, if comprised so that attachment or detachment is possible, the cloth presser member in the cloth presser attached to the needle bar can be easily replaced.
Therefore, a plurality of cloth pressers arranged side by side can be arbitrarily changed to a presser for sequin sewing or a presser for embroidery sewing, even if it is in that position. Accordingly, a needle bar at any position among a plurality of needle bars arranged side by side can be arbitrarily selected for sequin sewing and used for sewing.
