Claims (6)
- 断熱材で構成され、内部に貯蔵室を形成する箱本体と、前記箱本体の開口部に開閉自在に取り付けられる扉体と、前記箱本体内の空気を冷却し冷気を生成する冷却手段と、前記貯蔵室と前記冷却手段との間で前記冷気をファンにより循環させる冷気循環経路とを備える冷蔵庫であって、光触媒が担持される担持体と、前記担持体の周囲に冷気が流れている期間に、前記光触媒を励起する励起光を前記担持体に照射する照射手段とを有する除菌装置を前記冷気循環経路中に備える冷蔵庫。
- 前記照射手段は、前記照射手段の前記励起光の照射のための電源のONおよびOFFが、前記ファンの回転駆動のための電源のONおよびOFFと同期していることにより、前記担持体の周囲に冷気が流れている期間である、前記ファンが回転している期間に前記励起光を前記担持体に照射する請求項1に記載の冷蔵庫。
- 前記照射手段はさらに、前記ファンが回転していない場合であっても、前記扉体が開けられている期間に前記励起光を前記担持体に照射する請求項1に記載の冷蔵庫。
- 前記照射手段は、前記照射手段の前記励起光の照射のための電源が、前記扉体が閉められた状態であり、かつ、前記ファンの回転駆動のための電源がOFFである場合にのみOFFであり、他の場合にはONであることにより、前記ファンが回転している期間、および、前記扉体が開けられている期間に、前記励起光を前記担持体に照射する請求項3に記載の冷蔵庫。
- さらに、前記貯蔵室外に存在し前記冷気循環経路の一部を構成するダクトと、前記ダクトからの冷気の前記貯蔵室内への流入を開閉可能に遮断するダンパーとを備え、前記除菌装置は、前記貯蔵室内に取り付けられ、前記照射手段は、前記ダンパーが開状態のときに、前記照射手段の前記励起光の照射のための電源がONとなり、前記ダンパーが閉状態のときに、前記電源がOFFとなることにより、前記担持体の周囲に冷気が流れている期間に前記励起光を前記担持体に照射する請求項1に記載の冷蔵庫。
- 前記照射手段はLEDにより、前記励起光を前記担持体に照射する請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の冷蔵庫。
