Description
50℃での真空下で、40gのオレイン酸の脱気を行ってから、アルゴン下で90℃に加熱した。8mLのチタンテトライソプロポキシド(TTIP)を添加し、5分間混合させた。8mLのテトラメチル水酸化アンモニウム(TMAH)をその混合物に加え、16時間加熱撹拌を続けた。その混合物を放冷して、50℃まで冷却させた。真空下で過剰の水を蒸発させてから、その混合物を冷却して室温とした。その混合物を、エルレンマイヤーフラスコの中の300mLのエタノールの中に注ぎ込んだ。白色の固形物が直ちに沈殿した。その混合物を3,000rpmで5分間遠心分離にかけると、約8gの白色の固形粒子が得られた。その粒子は、ヘキサン、アイソパル(ISOPAR)およびトルエンなどの有機溶媒中に分散させることが可能であって、いずれの場合も透明な溶液が得られた。その粒子は、マルベルン・ゼータ・サイザー(Malvern Zeta-sizer)で測定して、約15nmの平均粒径を有していた。
200mgの上述のチタニアナノ粒子を、トルエン中ポリメチルメタクリレート(PMMA)5%溶液の5mLの中に混合することにより、液状組成物を得た。無色透明な溶液が得られた。
上述のインキ組成物を、ハンドブラシ法によりゼロックス(Xerox)4024紙基材に塗布した。室内光の条件下では、その画像が露見したり、検出されたりすることはなかった。365nmのブラックライト条件下でもやはり、その画像は露見したり、検出されたりすることはなかった。しかしながら、254nmの波長の光に暴露させると、画像が顕れた。
Claims (3)
- 少なくとも0.5ミクロンの平均表面粗さを有し1種または複数の蛍光増白剤を含む紙基材を含む文書であって、前記紙基材がその上に少なくとも一つの画像を含み、そして前記少なくとも一つの画像が、透明なバインダと、350nm未満の波長においてのみ光を吸収する光吸収性物質とを有することを特徴とする文書。
- 1種または複数の蛍光増白剤を含む紙基材を含む文書であって、前記紙基材が365nm以上の波長を有する光の下では人間の裸眼では見えないが、350nm未満の波長を有する光の下では人間の裸眼で見える少なくとも一つの画像をその上に含み、そして前記少なくとも一つの画像が、透明なバインダと、350nm未満の波長でのみ光を吸収する光吸収性物質とを有することを特徴とする文書。
- 紙基材の上に少なくとも一つの画像を有する文書を形成させる方法であって、前記少なくとも一つの画像が、光沢差もしくは365nm以上の波長を有する光への暴露によって人間の裸眼で実質的に検出することが不能であり、
前記方法が、少なくとも0.5ミクロンの平均表面粗さを有し、1種または複数の蛍光増白剤を含む紙を準備する工程と、
透明なバインダと、350nm未満の波長においてのみ光を吸収する光吸収性物質とを含む液状インキを用いて、前記紙の上に前記少なくとも一つの画像を形成させる工程と、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。
