Abstract

Claims (8)
- 光源からの光を測定するセンサにおいて、
前記光によって照明される第1及び第2の光検出器であって、該第1及び第2の光検出器は、400nm〜700nmの波長帯域における光の強度の第1及び第2の加重平均を示す第1及び第2の光検出器信号を生成し、前記第1のフォトダイオードは、前記第2の光検出器よりも400nm〜500nmの波長を有する光に対してより感度が高い、前記第1及び第2の光検出器と、
前記第1及び第2の信号の比に関連する第1の処理信号を生成する色温度処理回路と、
を備えているセンサ。 - 前記処理回路が、
前記第1及び第2の光検出器信号からそれぞれ第1及び第2の対数信号を生成する第1及び第2の対数増幅器と、
前記第1の対数信号と前記第2の対数信号との差を示す信号を生成し、そこから前記第1の処理信号を生成する減算回路と、
を備えている、請求項1に記載のセンサ。 - 前記第1の処理信号から、前記光源に対応する色温度を示す色温度出力信号を生成する温度計算回路を更に備えている、請求項1に記載のセンサ。
- 前記温度計算回路が、前記第1の処理信号を前記色温度出力信号に関連付ける較正曲線を格納するコントローラを備え、該コントローラは、前記較正曲線を補間して、前記色温度出力信号を提供する、請求項3に記載のセンサ。
- 前記第1の光検出器信号と前記第2の光検出器信号との積に関連する第2の処理信号を生成する光強度処理回路を更に備えている、請求項1に記載のセンサ。
- 前記第2の処理信号から、前記波長帯域において前記センサによって受け取られた光の強度を示す光強度出力信号を生成する回路を更に備えている、請求項5に記載のセンサ。
- 前記第1及び第2の光検出器が第1及び第2のフォトダイオードを備え、該第1及び第2のフォトダイオードは、前記センサの表面から、前記第1及び第2のそれぞれのフォトダイオードに関連する第1及び第2のPN接合への第1及び第2のそれぞれの距離によって特徴付けられ、前記第1の距離は、前記第2の距離とは異なる、請求項1に記載のセンサ。
- 400nm未満の波長と700nmを越える波長とを有する光が、前記第1及び第2の光検出器に達することを阻止する帯域通過フィルタを更に備え、該フィルタは、前記光源と前記フォトダイオードとの間に位置する一様な材料層を備えている、請求項1に記載のセンサ。
