Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of treatment, useful for the improvement of constipation considered as one of the symptoms of autonomic dystonia. <P>SOLUTION: Provided are a method for treating the constipation which comprises using acetylcholine secreted by parasympathetic nerve and promoting the work of digestive organs; a method for treating the constipation which comprises using acetylcholine and ergotamine which is an alkaloid having a sympathetic nerve-blocking activity, jointly; a method for treating the constipation which comprises using ergot containing the acetylcholine and ergotamine; a method for treating the constipation which comprises using serotonin the secretion of which is accelerated by the acetylcholine, and which acts as a peristalsis-promoting hormone in intestines; a method for treating the constipation comprises jointly using serotonin and histamine the secretion of which is accelerated by acetylcholine and which has the activity of vasodilation and involuntary muscle contraction. Description

私は、もう何十年も便秘に悩んでいる。酸化マグネシウムやセンナやピコスルファートナトリウムなどを取っ替え引っ替え試してみるが、効果は全く芳しくなく、何か良い対策はないかと探し続けて来た。そこで、便秘は自律神経の失調によって起こることからして、この面から対策を探すことにした。
自律神経には交感神経と副交感神経とがある。これらは拮抗を保つべく作用する。すなわち、例えば、心臓の拍動に対して交感神経は促進的に作用し副交感神経は抑制的に作用して互いにその作用が偏って強くなるのを打ち消し合っている。
便秘とは大便が長い間腸に溜まって排便に困難をともなう状態を言う。一般的には腸の弛緩によって蠕動作用が低下して起こると言われているが、これは余り正確ではない。正しくは、この腸の働きが落ちるような状態となると、通常ではそれを自律神経が感知して、副交感神経が心臓の働きを抑制して消化器の働きを促進するようにアセチルコリンを分泌する。従って、このアセチルコリンの分泌が慢性的に不足すると、心臓の働きが亢進して胃腸の働きを抑制され続けることになる。
アセチルコリンの消化器の働きを促進する作用は、興奮を伝達する物質として機能し、ヒスタミンやセロトニンの分泌を促進する機能があるからのように思える。ヒスタミンには血管を拡張し不随意筋を収縮させる作用があり、セロトニンには腸の運動を促進する作用がある。
そこで、何故便秘が起きるかと言うと、交感神経は、精神興奮や運動によって刺激されると、唾液を分泌し、血圧・血糖を高め、皮膚・内蔵の血管を収縮させて血液を筋肉・脳に集めるなど概ね全身の活動力を高める働きをするからである。
すなわち、精神的に刺激を受け続けている人つまり頭脳労働者や精神的ストレスに陥っている人とか運動選手のような人とかは内蔵の血管が収縮し続けて内蔵に血液つまり栄養が回らなくなって、内蔵の働きが落ちて便秘を起こすのである。
従って、自律神経の拮抗状態が崩れていると言えるので、精神興奮や運動の状態を解放して副交感神経に出番が与えられなくてはならない。一般的には夜の睡眠を十分摂って交感神経の興奮を鎮めることが大切である。それでも便秘の治らない人は就寝前に副交感神経の作用不足を補う為にアセチルコリンなどを服用すると宜しいように推論できる。
なお、インポテンツも自律神経失調によって起こるが、これにもアセチルコリンはヒスタミンの分泌を促進するので効くように思える。勿論、ヒスタミンの方が効き目が大きい。従って、便秘とインポテンツは親類であり、便秘に苦しむ人にはインポテンツに悩む人が多いと言えるのではあるまいか。ストレスからインポテンツに陥ると昔からよく言われていることからも理解できる。なお、ストレスとは精神緊張・心労・苦痛・寒冷・感染などごく普通に見られる刺激(ストレッサー)が原因で引き起こされる生体機能の変化を言う。またその状態をも言う。
アセチルコリンを食物から一度に多量に摂ろうとすると、家畜の脾臓や胎盤からと言うことになるが、これらは通常手に入らない。一般的には末梢神経組織に多く存在しているので、もつ(臓物)など好ましいのではないかと思われる。
アセチルコリンは植物では麦角に多く含まれている。麦角とはライ麦や大麦などの子房(雌しべの下の果実になる部分)に寄生した麦角菌の菌核またはその乾燥物であり、アセチルコリンの他に子宮を収縮させる作用のあるエルゴメトリンや交感神経遮断作用があり片頭痛(頭部の片側だけに起こる発作性の激しい頭痛)に用いられるエルゴタミンなど多種のアルカロイドを含んでいる。しかし、従来一般的には、麦角は陣痛促進・分娩後の子宮収縮および出血防止に用いられるだけであった。
エルゴタミンは交感神経遮断作用があるので、アセチルコリンと共に便秘に用いると好ましいように思える。従って、純粋なアセチルコリンとエルゴタミンを服用するのも宜しいが、簡単に麦角を便秘薬として用いても宜しいように思える。
また、アセチルコリンは、アセチルCoAとコリンからコリンアセチルトフェラーゼにより生合成されるので、この両者を服用しても宜しい。また、コリンだけを服用しても宜しいが、作用はアセチルコリンに比べて微弱である。
また、より近道的には、上記した腸運動を促進するホルモンであるセロトニンを服用するのが宜しかろう。場合によってはそれに血管を拡張し不随意筋を収縮させる作用のあるヒスタミンを添えるのも宜しかろう。なお、セロトニンはバナナに多く含まれているので、バナナを出来るだけ多食すると宜しかろう。
従来の便秘薬は腸を刺激して蠕動を促進するものであった。睡眠をよく摂って用いれば効き目のあることも多かろう。しかし、よく効かない場合には本発明を服用して見て貰いたい。場合によっては、本発明と従来の便秘薬とを調合して用いるのも宜しかろう。
精神的ストレスに陥ることの多い時代である。殆どの人が便秘で苦しんでいる。然も、睡眠を妨げられる場合が多い。入院する程の病気ではないとは言え、ガスが溜まって腹が膨らんで連日連夜不快な思いをしなくてはならないのには辟易する。そして、トイレで中々気持ちよく出てくれないので、常に痔を悪くしていなくてはならない。痔を病む人は多い。便秘と痔疾とは現代人の殆どが罹患する大規模な病気である。
この解決に腐心する人が今日まで出なかったのは不思議である。自律神経失調症の一であることを等閑に付して弛緩病と思い込むでいたからではあるまいか。快食快眠は快便をもたらす。快食快眠が旨く摂れないところに現代社会の病象がある。大概の病は栄養失調から発生するが、便秘は栄養を摂っても精神的ストレスで発病する。自動車社会はそれを加速する。現代では、便秘は好ましいことではないがどうしても薬の助けを借りなくてはならない。繊維質を多く摂ればまた運動をよくすれば便秘は避けられると言うのもまことに怪しい。本発明によってやっと本格的な便秘薬が登場することになった。本発明が世界的な現代病である便秘と腹部膨満と痔疾を癒す良薬となることを切に祈っている。
