Description

The present invention relates to an outdoor unit of an air conditioner that aims to reduce utility costs and reduce the heat load on the atmosphere.

In a conventional outdoor unit of an air conditioner, outside air is heated by a heat exchanger during cooling operation, and the heated air is heated by a fan to be discharged into the atmosphere as hot air.

Therefore, there were the following problems.
(A) Hot air discharged from the outlet of the outdoor unit of the air conditioner raises the atmospheric temperature and is one of the causes of global warming.
(B) The hot air discharged from the outlet of the outdoor unit of the air conditioner is not effectively used.
(C) The outdoor unit of the air conditioner is not used except for air conditioning and dehumidification.
The present invention is to solve the above problems.

In order to solve the above problems (a) and (b), the present invention provides a heat exchange coil on the front surface on the outlet side in an outdoor unit of an air conditioner.
In order to solve the above problem (c), an outdoor unit of an air conditioner is provided with a circuit that allows only a fan to operate independently.

In the cooling operation of the outdoor unit of the air conditioner, the air heated by the heat exchanger on the suction side is cooled by tap water inside the heat exchanger coil on the front surface on the outlet side.
Since the cooled air is released to the atmosphere, the heat load on the atmosphere is reduced.
On the other hand, the tap water inside the heat exchange coil on the front side on the outlet side is warmed by the heated air and becomes hot water. Hot water can be used for bathtubs, hot water supply, etc. to reduce utility costs.
Also, when the outdoor unit is not used and the outside air temperature is higher than the tap water temperature, the outdoor unit fan is operated alone and at the same time the tap water is sent to the heat exchange coil, so that the tap water is warmed by the outside air. Since it rises, the utility cost is reduced compared to supplying tap water directly to a bathtub or hot water supply without passing through a heat exchange coil.

Hereinafter, the form for implementing this invention is demonstrated based on FIGS. 1-3.

The outdoor unit of the air conditioner is configured as shown in FIG.
Inside the outdoor unit body 1, there are a heat exchange chamber 3 and a machine room 4 partitioned by a partition plate 2. The heat exchange chamber 3 has a heat exchanger 5 and a fan 7 that is rotated by a fan motor 6, and the machine room 4 has a compressor 8. As shown in FIG. 3, the heat exchange coil 9 is provided on the front surface on the outlet 14 side. The heat exchange coil 9 is configured as shown in FIG.
There are a heat transfer pipe 11 passing through a plurality of aluminum fins 10 arranged in a serpentine manner, and a tap water inlet 13 and a tap water outlet 12 for feeding tap water into the heat transfer pipe 11. With the outdoor unit configured as described above, when the fan 7 rotates in the cooling operation, the air is heated by passing through the heat exchanger 3, becomes hot air, and is blown to the heat exchange coil 9. In the heat exchange coil 9, tap water having a temperature lower than the outside air temperature is sent from the tap water inlet 13 to the heat transfer tube 11, so that hot air is cooled and released into the atmosphere by contacting the aluminum fin 10 and the heat transfer tube 11. As a result, the heat load on the atmosphere is reduced.
Conversely, the tap water inside the heat transfer tube 11 on the front surface on the outlet 14 side is warmed by the heated air. Heated tap water can be used for bathtubs, hot water supply, etc. to reduce utility costs.
In addition, when the outdoor unit is not used and the outside air temperature is higher than the tap water temperature, the outdoor unit fan 7 is independently operated, and at the same time, the tap water is supplied from the tap water inlet 13 to the heat transfer pipe 11 of the heat exchange coil 9. The tap water inside the heat transfer tube 11 is warmed by outside air, and the tap water temperature rises. The tap water whose water temperature has risen is used from the tap outlet 12 to a bathtub, hot water supply or the like.
