遮光シートを帽子やバンダナ等に取り付けるための取付機構（２）は図４に示すように遮光シート（１）の上辺部のひだ（４）の位置に上辺（５）に沿って布や皮等の板状のバンド（１０）を縫い付け、その上から縫い目や遮光シートの端末を隠すためのカバー（１１）が設けられている。そのバンド（１０）の両端付近には、帽子等に取付けるためにバンドをループ状にし、帽子等の大きさに合わせて調整しながら固定するための面ファスナーが設けられていて、面ファスナーオス（１２ａ）はバンド（１０）の一方の端に、面ファスナーメス（１２ｂ）は他方のバンド（１０）の末端付近にカバーの上から取り付けられている。
