Abstract
【解決手段】LPタービンスプール(30)は発電機部分(50)を駆動する歯車箱(44)によって発電機(50)部分に機械的に結合される。制御装置部分(52)はLPタービンの速度を感知する速度感知要素を有する。制御装置部分(52)は、発電機(50)が所定の速度を超えた場合に電力変換装置(54)を使用不可能にし、発電機部分(50)が所定の速度以下の場合は電力変換装置(54)を使用可能にする。LPタービンスプール(30)が所定の速度を超えた場合に発電機(50)の有効負荷がほぼゼロに低減され、発電機(50)を所定の速度に電気的に拘束し、所定の速度を上回るように機械的に拘束することを可能にする。

Claims (10)
- ターボファンエンジンの低圧(LP)タービンスプールから補助電力を生成するシステムであって、
電力を生成する発電機部分(50)、前記発電機部分(50)を駆動する歯車箱(44)、前記発電機(50)の出力を制御する制御装置部分(52)、および発電機の電力を変換して負荷に電力を供給する電力変換装置(54)を備え、
前記LPタービンスプール(30)が前記発電機部分(50)を駆動する前記歯車箱(44)によって前記発電機部分(50)に機械的に結合され、
前記制御装置部分(52)が前記LPタービンスプール(30)の速度を感知する速度感知要素と電気的に連通し、
前記制御装置部分(52)が、前記エンジン(10)の動作中に、前記発電機部分(50)の所定の速度を超える速度に応答して前記電力変換装置(54)を使用不可能にし、前記発電機部分(50)の速度が前記所定の速度を超えない場合は前記電力変換装置(54)を使用可能にして、前記LPタービンスプール(30)が所定の速度を超えた場合に前記発電機部分(50)の有効負荷がほぼゼロに低減されるように構成されるシステム。 - 前記発電機部分(50)が速度および多磁極数を有し、前記磁極数によって前記発電機部分(50)の速度が前記電力変換装置(54)の基本周波数範囲を超えるのが阻止される、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記電力変換装置(54)が電気的に作動する電力変換装置である、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記基本周波数範囲が、前記電力変換装置(54)で達成することができる最大パルス幅変調(PWM)周波数によって決定される、請求項3記載のシステム。
- 前記発電機部分(50)が航空機のアイドリングでの降下中に作動して電力を生成し、前記アイドリングでの降下が前記所定の速度以下の発電機速度と関連し、前記発電機(50)が前記所定の速度を超えた場合に前記発電機(50)がほぼゼロ負荷で受動的に回転される、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記発電機部分(50)が、前記歯車箱(44)の歯車比の1100倍から前記歯車箱(44)の歯車比の2200倍までを含む速度での作動発電範囲、および前記歯車箱(44)の歯車比の2200倍を超え前記歯車箱(44)の歯車比の4500倍までの速度での受動の回転範囲を有する、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記歯車箱(44)の歯車比が5から10の範囲内である、請求項6記載のシステム。
- 前記発電機部分(50)が10の磁極(64)および12のステータ巻線を有する、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記発電機部分(50)が複数の隣接する重ならない磁極対(64)を有する、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記発電機部分(50)がステータバックアイアン部分(68a)およびロータバックアイアン部分(68b)を有し、前記ステータバックアイアン部分(68a)および前記ロータバックアイアン部分(68b)が少磁極(64)数発電機(60)と比較して大幅に低減された厚さを有する、請求項1記載のシステム。
