Abstract
【解決手段】液晶表示装置において、バックライトユニットの冷陰極管は表示装置の短軸に沿って複数配置される。冷陰極管は、高圧電極がインバータ回路に接続し、接地電極が接地している。また、短軸に沿って配置した複数の冷陰極管は、その電極が高圧電極と接地電極とで交互に配置される。

Claims (8)
- 薄膜トランジスタを有する第1パネル基板とカラーフィルタを有する第2パネル基板の間に液晶を介在させた液晶パネルと、
前記液晶パネルに光を供給するバックライトユニットと、を備えた液晶表示装置であって、
前記バックライトユニットは第1側部から第2側部に向って延びる第1冷陰極管と第2冷陰極管とを有し、
前記第1冷陰極管の第1側部の電極には交流電圧が印加され、前記第1冷陰極管の第2側部の電極は接地され、
前記第2冷陰極管の第1側部の電極は接地され、前記第2冷陰極管の第2側部の電極には前記第1冷陰極管に印加された交流電圧と同位相の交流電圧が印加されることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1において、前記第1冷陰極管と前記第2冷陰極管は交互に配置されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
- 請求項1において、前記第1冷陰極管と前記第2冷陰極管は2本毎に交互に配置されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
- 薄膜トランジスタを有する第1パネル基板とカラーフィルタを有する第2パネル基板の間に液晶を介在させた液晶パネルと、
前記液晶パネルに光を供給するバックライトユニットと、を備えた液晶表示装置であって、
前記バックライトユニットは第1側部から第2側部に向って延びる複数の冷陰極管を有し、
前記冷陰極管は、第1冷陰極管と第2冷陰極管とを含み、
前記第1冷陰極管は、第1側部の電極が第1回路基板上のインバータ回路に接続し、第2側部の電極が接地され、
前記第2冷陰極管は、第2側部の電極が第2回路基板上のインバータ回路に接続し、第1側部の電極が接地され、
前記第1回路基板上のインバータ回路は、隣接するインバータ回路でそれぞれ逆位相の交流電圧を発信することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項4において、前記第1冷陰極管と前記第2冷陰極管は交互に配置されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
- 請求項4において、前記第1冷陰極管と前記第2冷陰極管は2本毎に交互に配置されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
- 薄膜トランジスタを有する第1パネル基板とカラーフィルタを有する第2パネル基板と前記第1パネル基板と前記第2パネル基板の間に液晶を介在させた液晶パネルと、
前記液晶パネルに光を供給するバックライトユニットと、を備えた液晶表示装置であって、
前記バックライトユニットは第1方向に沿って延び第2方向に沿って複数配置した冷陰極管と、前記冷陰極管を収納する凹状のバックライトフレームとを有し、
前記複数の冷陰極管は前記バックライトフレームの底面に近い下側冷陰極管群と、前記液晶パネルに近い上側冷陰極管群とを有し、前記下側冷陰極管と上側冷陰極管とは前記第2方向に沿って交互に配置されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 薄膜トランジスタを有する第1パネル基板とカラーフィルタを有する第2パネル基板と前記第1パネル基板と前記第2パネル基板の間に液晶を介在させた液晶パネルと、
前記液晶パネルと対向し、前記液晶パネルに光を供給するバックライトユニットと、を備えた液晶表示装置であって、
前記バックライトユニットは第1側部から第2側部に向って延びる第1冷陰極管と、前記第1冷陰極管と隣接する第2冷陰極管と、前記冷陰極管を収納する凹状のバックライトフレームとを有し、
前記第1冷陰極管の第1側部に設けた電極には交流電圧が印加され、前記第1冷陰極管の第2側部に設けた電極は接地され、
前記第2冷陰極管の第1側部に設けた電極は接地され、前記第2冷陰極管の第2側部に設けた電極には交流電圧が印加され、前記接地電圧の印加される電極は前記交流電圧の印加される電極よりも前記バックライトフレームの底面に近いことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
