Description

The present invention relates to an embroidery sewing machine, and more particularly to an embroidery sewing machine in which an embroidery material is sewn on a cloth by staggered stitching.

In a conventional embroidery sewing machine, a needle bar that has a sewing needle (hereinafter also referred to as “needle”) attached to the lower end and is driven to reciprocate up and down, a nipple that moves up and down in synchronization with the needle bar, and the needle A rotating bush that is driven to rotate around the axis of the bar, a bobbin that stores embroidery material in the form of tape or cord, and the embroidery material that is fed out from the bobbin is guided toward the needle drop position on the needle plate. A guide lever having a lower portion of the guide lever. The guide lever is rotatably supported via a lever pin with respect to the rotary bushing, and the movement direction of the cloth to be embroidered with the lever pin 51 as a rotation fulcrum. A device that is capable of reciprocating rotation (swing) in a crossing direction (also referred to as left and right) is known. (For example, refer to Patent Document 1).

Japanese Patent No. 3145469

In this conventional embroidery sewing machine, flat tape is used as the embroidery material, and it is staggered with respect to the cloth (the embroidery material itself is not allowed to fall into the needle by swinging the embroidery material at the needle base position of the sewing needle. When this embroidery material is sewn to the cloth to be embroidered), the guide lever swings around the lever pin as a pivot, and the guide provided under the guide lever is like a swing cross. The flat tape is guided to the left and right while swinging the surface of the flat tape up and down with respect to the needle plate surface, so a wide flat tape is a cloth whose surface is placed on the needle plate. When it is inclined with respect to the upper surface of the cloth, it is pressed by the thread sewn on the cloth and sewn on the cloth.
When the zigzag stitching operation was performed at a high speed, the flat tape was bent and sewn on the upper surface of the cloth, and the embroidery pattern collapsed, resulting in a problem of degrading the quality of the embroidery product.

The purpose of this application is not only that the embroidery material can be sewn on the cloth by zigzag stitching, but also when the flat tape is sewn on the cloth by zigzag stitching, the surface of the flat tape remains flat on the fabric surface. It is intended to provide an embroidery sewing machine that can be stitched in a zigzag manner.
Other objects and advantages will be readily apparent from the drawings and the following description associated therewith.

The guide hole 3 of the guide portion 33 is configured to be reciprocally rotatable at the center The shape of 3b is formed widely in the direction parallel to the throat plate 3 so that the flat tape 10 fed out from the bobbin 26 can be guided toward the surface 47 parallel to the throat plate 3, and zigzag stitching of the flat tape is performed. At this time, the swing width W of the guide portion 33 is operated by a dimension that allows the flat tape 10 sewn on the cloth 9 to be alternately removed from the top of the needle drop position 4 to the left or right, and The timing of the rotation operation of the swing width W section of the guide portion 33 is the same as that in the state P in which the presser foot is pressing the flat tape 10 in the next step from the state P in which the presser foot 15 is pressing the flat tape 10. What is necessary is just to make it rotate during the time.

The case where a flat tape is sewn by zigzag stitching using the above-described configuration will be described.
First, as is normally done, the bobbin 26 around which the flat tape 10 is wound, the embroidery sewing machine 1 is prepared for operation such as inserting the flat tape 10 into the through-hole 33a of the guide portion 33, and sewing work is started.
As is well known, the cloth 9 stretched on the embroidery frame 5 on the throat plate 3 operates in a two-dimensional direction of XY according to a predetermined program by an embroidery frame driving device (not shown). In synchronization with this movement, the needle 8 is moved up and down, and the presser foot 15 is moved up and down and turned.
Further, the tape guide drive mechanism 40 is operated to operate the guide portion 33 by a dimension that allows the flat tape 10 sewn on the cloth 9 to be alternately removed from the top of the needle drop position 4 to the left or right. And the timing of the rotation operation of the swing width W section of the guide portion 33 is as follows. The presser foot presses the flat tape 10 in the next step from the state P in which the presser foot 15 presses the flat tape 10. During the state P, the rotating operation is performed.

The rotation operation of the guide unit 33 will be described with reference to FIGS. 2 and 4, for example, with regard to the operation from the 15th needle to the 17th needle. 4A, 4B, and 4C show a state in which the number of stitches is moved one by one from the 15th stitch (15) to the 17th stitch (17). 4 is represented by relatively moving.
First, as the needle descends toward the 15th needle drop position 4a (see FIG. 4A), the guide portion 33 moves from the top of the needle drop position 4 to the right position (33R in FIG. 4A). (Position shown). Then, the flat tape 10 comes off from the needle drop position 4a on the upper surface 9a of the cloth.
Next, the needle falls to the needle drop position 4a on the upper surface 9a of the cloth, and a 15th stitch (15) is formed as is well known. The flat tape 10 is sewn to the cloth 9 by being pressed by the thread 11 sewn on the cloth.
Next, as the needle at the needle drop position 4a rises from the bottom dead center toward the top dead center, the guide portion 33 passes through the center position C and is located on the left side of the needle drop position 4 (FIG. 4 ( It is rotated in the direction of arrow 50 until the position indicated by 33L in B). Even in this state, the flat tape 10 is disengaged from above the needle drop position 4b on the upper surface 9a of the cloth in the same manner as described above. Next, the needle falls to the needle drop position 4b on the upper surface 9a of the cloth, forming a 16th stitch (16) as is well known. The flat tape 10 is sewn to the cloth 9 by being pressed by the thread 11 sewn on the cloth. Reference numeral 4h indicates a position where the thread 11 has been sewn.
Further, as the needle at the needle drop position 4b rises from the bottom dead center toward the top dead center, the guide portion 33 passes through the center position C and is positioned from the top of the needle drop position 4 to the right position (FIG. 4C ) To the position indicated by 33R in the direction of arrow 51. As described above, in this state, the flat tape 10 comes off from above the needle drop position 4c on the upper surface 9a of the cloth. Next, the needle falls to the needle drop position 4c on the upper surface 9a of the cloth, forming a 17th stitch (17) as is well known, and the flat tape 10 is pressed by the thread 11 sewn on the cloth. It is sewn on the cloth 9.
The flat tape 10 is sequentially sewn to the upper surface 9a of the cloth 9 by the sewing thread 11 provided on the needle as shown in FIG.
When the guide portion 33 guides the flat tape 10 from the left and right alternate directions of the needle drop position 4 toward the flat tape sewing scheduled position, as described above, the surface of the flat tape 10 is directed against the cloth surface 9a. Since the guide is kept in a state of being parallel to each other (see FIG. 3B), even a flat tape that easily breaks down can be staggered in a state where it is flatly attached to the cloth surface 9a.
