Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an advertisement providing system, an advertisement providing apparatus, an advertisement display apparatus, an advertisement providing method, and a program for providing content with an advertisement.
地上デジタル放送あるいはVOD(Video On Demand)など、PPV(Pay Per View)
PPV (Pay Per View) such as digital terrestrial broadcasting or VOD (Video On Demand)
Services are becoming popular. This PPV service provides fee-based content, and some offers content with advertisements in order to provide more inexpensive content.
As a first conventional technique for providing content with advertisement, there is a product purchase order system for broadcasting video and product information in synchronization. In this merchandise purchase order system, the broadcasting station converts merchandise information of merchandise that can be purchased in the video into a data signal, and sends it to the receiving terminal in synchronization with the video signal and the audio signal. The receiving terminal converts the received data signal into product information and displays it in synchronization with the video signal. The viewer operates the remote controller to browse and purchase desired merchandise information and perform two-way communication with the information center via a mobile phone having a browsing function connected to the receiving device. The information center transmits product information in response to a request for browsing product information, and sends a purchase request to the product information provider when a purchase request is received. In other words, the product purchase order system displays product information during video display and orders products via a mobile phone (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
As a second conventional technique, there is an advertising system for interactive television linked with an interactive television subscriber management system. This interactive TV advertising system customizes advertisements to be provided to subscribers using the subscriber's personal information, such as age and family structure, which the subscriber management system has, and the analysis results based on the advertisement reference history For example, the subscriber preference analysis result is provided to the advertiser, and the advertisement reference count is provided to the subscriber management system. The subscriber management system discounts the interactive TV usage fee based on the number of advertisement references provided from the interactive TV advertising system (see, for example, Patent Document 2). The advertisement is provided to the subscriber from an advertising system for interactive television, that is, a broadcasting station. However,
As a third conventional technique, there is a digital TV (Television) receiver that outputs an advertisement message combined with digital TV content. This TV receiver downloads and stores advertisement messages from the network, and receives and outputs video data from the digital TV service provider only until the stored advertisement messages are displayed as banners. Digital TV content can be received without paying a fee or at a discounted price than a normal fee. The advertisement message is downloaded asynchronously with the video data, but is also output asynchronously with the content of the video data (see, for example, Patent Document 3).
As a fourth conventional technique, there is a program broadcasting apparatus that discounts a viewing fee for a pay program when a commercial is purchased by viewing a commercial message (CM). When viewing a pay program, this program broadcasting apparatus allows a viewer to select whether or not to view a commercial, broadcasts the commercial when the viewer selects commercial viewing, and purchases the commercial product. Collect discounted viewing fees. Further, the program broadcasting device provides the sponsor with information such as the viewer who purchased the product and the program that broadcast the CM of the product. The CM broadcast is broadcast before the pay program is broadcast or after the program broadcast. Alternatively, during the program broadcast, the program broadcast screen is stopped, that is, the program broadcast is stopped and the CM is broadcast, and the CM is displayed on a part of the screen (see, for example, Patent Document 4).
As a fifth conventional technique, there is an information processing system that discounts the charge for content data when advertisement data is reproduced. In this information processing system, the information processing apparatus adds advertisement data to the content data and distributes it, and when the information processing terminal reproduces the advertisement data after reproducing the content data, it discounts the charge for the content data. Although the advertisement data is distributed in synchronization with the content data, the reproduction of the advertisement data is reproduced independently of the content data (see, for example, Patent Document 5).
As a sixth conventional technique, there is a point-based electronic commerce system that allows a pay broadcast to be viewed free of charge or at a discounted price according to the number of points depending on points generated by the purchase of a product. In this point-based electronic commerce system, when the order receiving center receives an advertisement product from the viewer terminal, the order center calculates the number of points according to the advertisement product and transmits it to the viewer terminal. The point number and the sponsor information of the order product Is transmitted to the broadcasting center. The viewer terminal subtracts the charge information of the pay broadcast based on the received number of points and transmits it to the broadcast center. The broadcasting center issues a viewing fee bill based on the received billing information. The program, the advertisement, and the product attribute information of the advertisement are multiplexed and broadcasted at the broadcasting center, or the program is broadcast on a different channel from the product attribute information of the advertisement and the advertisement (see, for example, Patent Document 6). The advertisement is broadcast in synchronization with the program, but
As a seventh conventional technique, there is a content management system that discounts the fee for content according to the number of advertisements viewed. When the content management system receives information on the number of advertisements that the viewer can view from the viewer device, the content management system performs a billing process by subtracting a discount amount based on the number of advertisements that can be viewed from the charge amount for viewing the pay program content, The viewing of advertisement content for the number of advertisements in the viewer apparatus is monitored. If the advertisement is not viewed within the specified time, the advertisement is forcibly reproduced. When the viewer registers the advertisement category, the advertisement belonging to the category can be viewed. The viewer can suspend the paid content or divide the screen and view the advertising content at the same time as the paid program content. The paid content and the advertising content are distributed asynchronously, and the content of the paid content and the advertising content are not synchronized (for example, see Patent Document 7).
As an eighth conventional technique, there is a moving image digital information reproducing apparatus that displays a home page of an advertisement site when a screen is clicked. This moving picture video digital information reproducing apparatus displays a home page of an advertising site based on advertising video position information input together with moving picture data and audio data. The advertisement video position information is information in which a position in the moving image is associated with an advertisement site address. When the user clicks on the moving image, the moving image digital information reproducing apparatus starts a Web browser, accesses the advertisement site corresponding to the clicked position, and displays the home page. There are two ways to display the advertising site: split the screen and display it with the video, stop displaying the video and display only the advertising site, or display the name of the advertising site on the screen and hold the Internet connection, The user can change the display method. An audio display mark is displayed in the video image, and by clicking the audio display mark, the home page of the advertisement site corresponding to the audio is displayed. Further, the search destination and the number of times of the advertisement site are recorded, and link result data for charging the advertisement fee is provided to the moving image distribution company (see, for example, Patent Document 8).
The first conventional technique displays product information in synchronization with video. According to the third conventional technique, video data of digital TV content is received from a digital TV service provider only until a plurality of advertisement messages are downloaded and stored, and the stored advertisement messages are displayed as banners. Output. In the fifth conventional technique, when advertising data distributed together with content data is reproduced after the content data is reproduced, the fee for the content data is discounted. The seventh conventional technique discounts the charge for content according to the number of advertisements viewed. When the viewer registers the advertisement category, the advertisement belonging to the category can be viewed. However, none of these four conventional techniques uses a pop-up for displaying detailed information of an advertisement, and does not display a list of pop-ups.
The second conventional technique customizes an advertisement provided to a subscriber using the personal information of the subscriber of the interactive television. However,
In the fourth conventional technique, when viewing a pay program, the viewer selects whether to view the CM, and when the viewer selects CM viewing, before the broadcast of the pay program, after the program broadcast, Alternatively, CM broadcasting is performed during program broadcasting. When the viewer selects CM viewing, a CM name list is displayed, and a CM to be viewed is selected from the CM name list, but the popup displayed in synchronization with the content is not used. It does not display a list of
In the eighth conventional technique, when a screen on which video data is reproduced is clicked, the home page of the advertisement site is displayed based on the advertisement video position information in which the position in the video image is associated with the advertisement site address. It is. For audio, an audio display mark is displayed in the video image, and by clicking the audio display mark, the home page of the advertisement site corresponding to the audio is displayed, but a list of audio display marks related to the video data is displayed. FIG. 23 shows “011” as the display method selection of the content ID “100003” and “101” as the display method selection of the content ID “100002”. For example, the pop-up list of the content ID “100003” Display is specified during playback and after playback of content.

In step H1, it is determined whether or not to display a pop-up list after content reproduction. That is, the pop-up display method selection data stored in the setting
In step H2, a pop-up list process described later is called. When the pop-up list process is called, information indicating that the list display mode is display after reproduction is called as input information. When the pop-up list process ends, the process ends and the process returns to the flowchart shown in FIG.
FIG. 26 is a pop-up list process flowchart processed by the receiving
Step J1 branches according to the list display mode. In other words, depending on the list display mode received as input information, the display branches to a display before reproduction, a display during reproduction, or a display after reproduction. If the list display mode is display before reproduction, the process proceeds to step J2. If the list display mode is display after reproduction, the process proceeds to step J3. If the list display mode is display during reproduction, the process proceeds to step J4. .
In step J2, the search mode is set to “all”, the display mode is set to “before playback”, and the elapsed time is set to “00:00”, and the process proceeds to step J5. In step J3, the search mode is set to “all”, the display mode is set to “after playback”, and the elapsed time is set to “00:00”, and the process proceeds to step J5. In step J4, the search mode is set to “already displayed”, the display mode is set to “playing”, and the elapsed time is set to “elapsed time from the start of the content to the present”, that is, the elapsed time from the beginning of the content to the current Proceed to step J5. The search mode, display mode, elapsed time, and content ID are set, that is, stored in a memory such as the
In step J6, input of the remote control key is waited and branching by the remote control key is performed. That is, it waits for the user to input with the keys of the
In step J8, the related web page is received and displayed. That is, the Web browser stored in the
In step J10, the screen, that is, the pop-up list screen displayed in step J5 is deleted, and the process ends and returns to the caller. In Step J11, the operation of other keys that are not input, that is, any of the
FIG. 27 is a flowchart of a pop-up list display process processed by the receiving
In step K1, all the pop-up data stored in the pop-up
In step K3, it is determined whether or not the end is reached. That is, it is determined whether or not there is no data to be read from the sorted pop-up data held in the
In step K5, it is determined whether or not to display in a designated display mode. That is, the
In step K6, it is determined whether or not the search mode is “already displayed”. That is, it is determined whether the search mode designated by the input information is “already displayed”. If the search mode is not “already displayed”, the total number is to be displayed, and the process proceeds to step K8. If the search mode is “already displayed”, the process proceeds to step K7. In step K7, it is determined whether or not the display is already performed at the designated elapsed time. That is, the start time indicated by the
FIG. 28 is a flowchart of a user operation process during reproduction that is performed by the receiving
In step L1, branching is performed using keys. That is, it branches by the key which the user input with
As described above, the receiving
As an embodiment of the present invention, when a display icon is selected from the list after the pop-up list is displayed as described above, the related Web page is not received and displayed but selected. Play the content of the part where the popup is displayed. What is necessary is just to comprise so that the operation content at the time of selecting a display icon may be changed whether a related web page is displayed or content is reproduced. In the flowchart shown in FIG. 26, when displaying a related Web page, the display icon is selected with the cursor key of the remote control key and determined with the enter key (first operation). The display icon is selected with the cursor key of the remote control key, and an operation different from the operation for displaying the related Web page is performed (second operation) such as pressing the setting key or pressing and holding the enter key.

For example, when a content is selected by performing an operation such as pressing a setting key or pressing and holding a decision key, the “content-user state” table is stored in step R1 using the content ID of the selected content as a key. Search and create a list of pop-up IDs associated with the corresponding content ID.
In step R2, initialization for repeatedly processing the obtained pop-up ID list is performed. In step R3, it is determined whether it is the last pop-up ID listed. If it is the last pop-up ID, the process proceeds to step R6, and if it is not the last pop-up ID, the process proceeds to step R4.
In step R4, the pop-up data is searched using the pop-up ID as a key, and the start time and duration are acquired. In step R5, the acquired start time and duration are stored in the list as time information.
In step R6, the pop-up IDs of the generated list are sorted by start time, and in step R7, the content is continuously played back by the time obtained by subtracting the duration from the playback time in order from the earliest playback time based on the sorted list.
