英国特許第1,404,098号明細書に記載されている通り、ビウレットの生成は実験式
20CN ←→ O + NH
に従って進行し、1分子のビウレットが生成されないことで同様に1分子のNH3の生成が阻止される。尿素顆粒を製造する際に自己調節遠心ポンプを本発明に従って使用する場合には、排ガス中のアンモニア含有量が慣用の方法に比較して10%より多く低減される。
図2には、図1に記載の従来技術と比較して蒸発器3のための20mの高さの台が無く、蒸発器3は造粒機5と同じ高さに配置されている。導管路9を通って到達する濃縮された尿素溶液は自己調節遠心ポンプ18によって導管路10を通って造粒機5の分配システム11に導かれる。遠心ポンプ18はこの構成方式に従って導管19を通って蒸発器3のガス空間に連結されている。
