Abstract
本発明は、高品質ニッケル基超合金シート部材(ジェット・エンジンで使用するための静翼)等のニッケル−金−燐鑞接部材に係わる。また、本発明は、ニッケル−金−燐から成る三元鑞合金と、該三元鑞合金を用いて金属部材同士を接合する方法に関するものである。
Description
「T」字形の304ステンレス試料を作り、次いで、本発明の三元ニッケル−金−燐鑞合金により試験した。米国溶接協会のAWS分類Bau−4(82重量%のAu−18重量%のNi)による金−ニッケル合金と、同一重量のAWS Bni−6(10重量%のP、残部としてのNi)によるニッケル・燐合金との混合物をブレンドして、鑞接粉末を用意した。混合物の計算上の公称組成は、54Ni−41Au−5P(重量%)であった。
Claims (10)
- 三元ニッケル−金−燐鑞合金を用いて金属部材同士を鑞接する方法であり、
(a)接合すべき2つの金属部材間に、約20〜約80重量%の金、約1〜約10重量%の燐、および、残部としてのニッケルと付随的不純物から成る三元ニッケル−金−燐鑞合金を配置する段階と、
(b)前記三元ニッケル−金−燐鑞合金と前記金属部材で形成される組立品を、998.9℃(1830°F)よりも低い温度で、少なくとも概ね鑞合金の共晶温度に加熱する段階と、
(c)前記組立品を冷却して、頑丈な単一組立品を効果的に作る段階とを含む三元ニッケル−金−燐鑞合金を用いて金属部材同士を鑞接する方法。 - 前記段階(a)において、前記三元ニッケル−金−燐鑞合金の組成が、(i)約30重量%〜約60重量%の金、約2重量%〜約6重量%の燐、および残部としてのニッケルと付随的不純物から成るか、または、(ii)約38重量%〜約42重量%の金、約2.5重量%〜約3.5重量%の燐、および付随的不純物を含む残部としてのニッケルから成る請求項1に記載された三元ニッケル−金−燐鑞合金を用いて金属部材同士を鑞接する方法。
- 前記段階(b)において、前記組立品を、前記鑞合金の共晶温度よりも約4.4℃(40°F)高い温度、または、温度約910℃〜約993.3℃(1670°F〜1820°F)、または、温度約943.3℃〜約971.1℃(1730°F〜1780°F)に加熱する請求項1に記載された三元ニッケル−金−燐鑞合金を用いて金属部材同士を鑞接する方法。
- 前記金属部材が、ニッケル−クロム基部材である請求項1に記載された三元ニッケル−金−燐鑞合金を用いて金属部材同士を鑞接する方法。
- 鑞接金属組立品であり、
(i)約20重量%〜約80重量%の金、約1重量%〜約10重量%の燐、および残部としてのニッケルと付随的不純物から成る組成を有する三元ニッケル−金−燐鑞合金で鑞接されている鑞接金属組立品。 - 前記三元ニッケル−金−燐鑞合金の前記組成が、約30重量%〜約60重量%の金、約2重量%〜約6重量%の燐、および残部としてのニッケルと付随的不純物から成るか、または、(ii)約38重量%〜42重量%の金、約2.5重量%〜約3.5重量%の燐、および残部としてのニッケルと付随的不純物から成る請求項5に記載された鑞接金属組立品。
- 前記組立品が静翼である請求項5に記載された鑞接金属組立品。
- 約20重量%〜約80重量%の金、約1重量%〜約10重量%の燐、および残部としてのニッケルと付随的不純物から成る組成を有する三元ニッケル−金−燐鑞合金。
- 請求項8に記載された三元ニッケル−金−燐鑞合金であり、該合金の組成が、
(i)約30重量%〜約60重量%の金、約2重量%〜約6重量%の燐、および残部としてのニッケルと付随的不純物から成るか、または
(ii)約38重量%〜42重量%の金、約2.5重量%〜約3.5重量%の燐、および残部としてのニッケルと付随的不純物から成る三元ニッケル−金−燐鑞合金。 - 粉末形態である請求項8に記載された三元ニッケル−金−燐鑞合金。
