前記第2光学チャンネルと光学連通すると共に、少なくとも1つの軸上段と少なくとも1つの軸外し段とを備えた第2ビーム方向転換器とを含む、カテーテル。 - 前記第1及び第2ビーム方向転換器が、同一の軸外し段を共有する、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記軸外し段が、前記第1及び第2光学チャンネルと光学連通したミラー及びプリズムの少なくとも一方を含む、請求項2に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第1ビーム方向転換器の前記軸外し段が、前記第1収集チャンネルと光学連通したミラー及びプリズムの少なくとも一方を含む、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第1ビーム方向転換器の前記軸上段が、前記第1光学チャンネルと光学連通したレンズを含む、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第1光学チャンネルが光ファイバの第1コアを含み、前記第2光学チャンネルが前記光ファイバの第2コアを含み、前記第1及び第2コアは互いから離間されている、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第1チャンネルが光ファイバ内の第1組のコアを含み、
前記第2チャンネルが前記光ファイバ内の第2組のコアを含む、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。 - 前記第1ビーム方向転換器の前記軸上段が、レンズの第1サブアパーチャを含み、該第1サブアパーチャが前記第1組のコアと光学連通し、
前記第2ビーム方向転換器の前記軸上段が、前記レンズの第2サブアパーチャを含み、該第2サブアパーチャが前記第2組のコアと光学連通した、請求項7に記載のカテーテル。 - 前記第1組のコアが、前記ファイバの軸と一致した中央コアを含み、
前記第2組のコアが、前記中央コアの周りに円形に配置された一組の外周コアを含む、請求項7に記載のカテーテル。 - 前記第1ビーム方向転換器の前記軸上段が、レンズの中央サブアパーチャを含み、該中央サブアパーチャが前記中央コアと光学連通し、
前記第2ビーム方向転換器の前記軸上段が、前記レンズの外周サブアパーチャを含み、該外周サブアパーチャが前記外周コアと光学連通した、請求項9に記載のカテーテル。 - 前記第1組のコアが前記ファイバの遠位面の第1部分と交差しており、前記第2組のコアが該遠位面の第2部分と交差しており、該第1及び第2部分が、互いに対する面角を形成する、請求項7に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第1チャンネルが第1組の光ファイバを含み、前記第2チャンネルが第2組の光ファイバを含む、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第1組の光ファイバが、前記カテーテルの軸と一致した中央ファイバを含み、前記第2組の光ファイバが、該中央ファイバの周りに円形に配置された複数の外周ファイバを含む、請求項12に記載のカテーテル。
- 多チャンネル光学方向転換器であって、
第1光学チャンネルと光学連通して配置されると共に、少なくとも1つの軸上段と少なくとも1つの軸外し段とを備えた第1ビーム方向転換器と、
第2光学チャンネルと光学連通すると共に、少なくとも1つの軸上段と少なくとも1つの軸外し段とを備えた第2ビーム方向転換器とを含む、カテーテル。 - 不安定プラークを識別するためのシステムであって、
請求項1に記載のカテーテルと、
光を前記第1光学チャンネル内に差し向けるための光源と、
前記第2光学チャンネルからの光を検出するための検出器とを備えた、システム。 - 前記カテーテルに結合された回転カプラを更に含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 管腔の壁部から光を収集する方法であって、
送出ビームを前記管腔に沿って延伸する送出チャンネル内に伝達する段階と、
前記送出ビームを偏向する段階と、
前記送出ビームを前記壁部に差し向ける段階と、
前記壁部から収集ビームを受け取る段階と、
前記収集ビームを収集チャンネルに差し向ける段階と、
前記収集ビームを前記収集チャンネル内に偏向する段階とを含む、方法。
