Abstract
本発明によれば、1シリーズの各ボールジョイント型式のために、ボールジョイント(1)がそれぞれ定格旋回角度(αm)に達した時に、磁界センサ(9)を通過する磁界(12)の角度(k)が前記シリーズのための定数(km)に一致するように、磁石(8)の位置及び大きさ、並びにジョイントボール(2)の切欠の大きさ及び位置が選定されている。
これによって、前記ボールジョイントシリーズ内ですべての型式をカバーできるように、ほぼ同じ磁界センサ(9)が使用され、またすべての型式をカバーできるように同じセンサケーシング(7)内に、並びにボールジョイント(1)の同じ箇所に配置することができる。これによって得られた部品の多様性、及びボールジョイントシリーズの構造的な簡単さに基づいて、特に相当なコストの削減が得られる。
Description
冒頭に述べた形式のボールジョイントは、例えば自動車のシャシーだけに使用されるものではない。このような旋回角度センサを備えたボールジョイントは、例えば互いの種々異なるシャシー部分の相対位置又は例えば車両軸線と車体との相対位置を確定するか、若しくはさらに処理するために車両の電子システムで測定するために用いられる。これは最近の自動車においては、ビークルダイナミクスコントロール、自動レベル調整、又はヘッドライトシステムのダイナミックなヘッドライトレンジ調整のために意義がある。

Claims (13)
- ボールジョイント(1)であって、ジョイントケーシング(4)とボールピボット(3)との相対角度位置を検出するための旋回角度センサ(9)と、ジョイントボール(2)の切欠内に埋め込まれた磁石(8)と、ジョイントケーシング(4)に配置された磁界センサ(9)とを備えている形式のものにおいて、
ボールジョイントのための磁石(8)の位置及び大きさ、並びにジョイントボール(2)の切欠の位置及び大きさは、ボールジョイント(1)の定格旋回角度(αm)が得られると磁界センサ(9)を通過する磁力線(12)の角度(k)が定数(km)にほぼ一致するように、選択可能となっていることを特徴とする、旋回角度センサを備えたボールジョイント。 - 前記定数(km)が、磁界センサ(9)によって検出可能な最大磁界角度にほぼ相当する、請求項1記載のボールジョイント。
- 磁石(8)が棒磁石であって、該棒磁石の磁軸がボールピボット(3)の軸線に一致している、請求項1又は2記載のボールジョイント。
- 磁石(8)がジョイントボール(2)の、ボールピボットとは反対側の極領域に配置されている、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載のボールジョイント。
- センサ(9)がジョイントケーシング(4)のケーシングカバー(7)の領域内に配置されている、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載のボールジョイント。
- センサ(9)の磁気的な左右対称軸線が、ジョイントケーシング(4)の左右対称軸線、若しくはボールピボット(3)の左右対称軸線と一致している、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載のボールジョイント。
- センサ(9)がプラスチックエレメント(7)内に配置若しくは埋め込まれている、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載のボールジョイント。
- プラスチックエレメント(7)がジョイントケーシング(4)のための閉鎖カバーとしての機能を有している、請求項7記載ボールジョイント。
- 磁石(8)がジョイントボール(2)内に弾性的な補助部材(10)によって埋め込み及び固定されている、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項記載のボールジョイント。
- 前記弾性的な補助部材(10)がポリマーより成っている、請求項9記載のボールジョイント。
- 磁石(8)がほぼ円筒形の形状を有していて、弾性的な補助部材(10)がほぼ円環状の形状を有している、請求項9又は10ボールジョイント。
- 弾性的な補助部材(10)が、非強磁性の材料より成るほぼ環状のばね(14)として構成されている、請求項9から11までのいずれか1項記載のボールジョイント。
- 環状のばね(14)が少なくとも部分的にプラスチック材料(16)によって射出成形で埋め込まれている、請求項12記載のボールジョイント。
