Description
Claims (13)
- クライアント−サーバネットワークにおいて、階層関係を有するグリッドマネージャを有するシステムを維持することを備える方法であって、各グリッドマネージャの前記関係は、前記システムそれぞれに格納されることを特徴とする方法。
- 前記階層関係はそれぞれ、上位または下位と分類されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- コンピュータシステムからなるネットワークを備えるシステムであって、前記コンピュータシステムはそれぞれ、グリッド管理エンジンを含み、前記グリッドマネージャはそれぞれ、他のグリッドマネージャとの階層関係を有し、各グリッドマネージャの前記関係は、前記システムそれぞれに格納されることを特徴とするシステム。
- 前記階層関係はそれぞれ、上位または下位と分類されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のシステム。
- ネットワークにおいて、第1のコンピュータ上で第1のサービスの実行をスタートすることであって、前記第1のサービスは、前記ネットワークを用いて、1つまたは複数のアプリケーション用の1つまたは複数の計算リソースの少なくとも位置決め、予約、割振り、監視、および割振り解除を扱うこと、
前記第1のサービスによって、ファイルを読んで、前記第1のサービスに第2のサービスとの関係を知らせることであって、前記第1のサービスは、前記第2のサービスとの下位関係を有し、前記下位関係は、前記第2のサービスが、使用可能なコンピュータリソースに関するクエリを前記第1のサービスに送ることができることを意味すること、
前記第1のサービスから前記第2のサービスへの第1の通信チャネルを確立すること、ならびに
前記第2のサービスから前記第1のサービスへの第2の通信チャネルのオープンを受諾することを備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記第1のサービスの、前記第2のサービスとの下位関係を取り消すためのメッセージを受け取ること、
前記第1および第2の通信チャネルをクローズすること、
前記第1のサービスから第3のコンピュータ内にある第3のサービスへの下位関係を生成するためのメッセージを受け取ること、
前記第2のサービスから前記第3のサービスへの第3の通信チャネルを確立すること、ならびに
前記第3のサービスから前記第1のサービスへの第4の通信チャネルのオープンを受諾することをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。 - 第1の通信チャネルを確立することは、前記第2のサービスが判定に応答するかどうか判定すること、および応答しない場合、所定の期間の後、前記第2のサービスへの通信チャネルを確立することをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項5または6に記載の方法。
- ネットワークにおいて、第1のコンピュータ内にある第1のサービスの実行をスタートすることであって、前記第1のサービスは、前記ネットワークを用いて、1つまたは複数のアプリケーション用の1つまたは複数の計算リソースの少なくとも位置決め、割振り、監視、および割振り解除を扱うこと、
第2のコンピュータ内にある第2のサービスの実行をスタートすること、
前記第2のサービスによって、ファイルを読んで、前記第2のサービスに、前記第1のサービスとの関係を知らせることであって、前記第2のサービスは、前記第1のサービスとの下位関係を有し、前記下位関係は、前記第1のサービスが、使用可能なコンピュータリソースに関するクエリを前記第2のサービスに送ることができることを示すこと、
前記第2のサービスから前記第1のサービスへの第1の通信チャネルを確立すること、ならびに
前記第1のサービスから前記第2のサービスへの第2の通信チャネルを確立することを備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記第2のサービスによって、前記第1のサービスとの前記第2のサービスの関係を取り消すためのメッセージを受け取ること、
前記第1の通信チャネルをクローズすること、
前記第2の通信チャネルに応答するのに失敗すること、
前記第2のサービスから第3のサービスへの下位関係を作成するためのメッセージを受け取ること、
前記第2のサービスから前記第3のサービスへの第3の通信チャネルを確立すること、および
前記第2のサービスから前記第3のサービスへの第4の通信チャネルを確立することをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。 - サービスを実行するようにそれぞれ構成された2つ以上のコンピュータであって、1つまたは複数のアプリケーション用の1つまたは複数の計算リソースの少なくとも位置決め、割振り、監視、および割振り解除を扱うコンピュータと、
前記サービスからなるネットワークであって、前記サービスのうち第1のサービスが、前記サービスのうち第2のサービスとの上位関係を有し、前記第2のサービスが前記第1のサービスとの下位関係を有するように構成され、前記第1のサービスは、前記第1のサービスから前記第2のサービスへのクエリへの応答を待機することによって、前記ネットワークにおける前記第2のサービスの前記状況を調べるように構成されたネットワークとを備えることを特徴とするシステム。 - 前記関係は、前記第1のサービスから前記第2のサービスへの第1の通信チャネルおよび前記第2のサービスから前記第1のサービスへの第2の通信チャネルを含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1のサービスは、使用可能な計算リソースに関するクエリを前記第2のサービスに送ることによって、前記1つまたは複数のアプリケーション用の前記1つまたは複数の計算リソースを位置決めするようにさらに構成されることを特徴とする請求項10または11に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2のサービスは、前記第1のサービスとのその下位関係を削除し、第3のサービスとの新たな上位関係を作成するようにさらに構成されることを特徴とする請求項10から12のいずれかに記載のシステム。
