〈結果〉
試験の結果を表1に示す。炭素数12〜18のアルキル基を有するPOEアルキルエーテルを用いた供試製剤1〜6は、汚垢除去率が約80%以上と非常に高いものであった。優れた除去力は炭素数22のアルキル基を有するPOEベヘニルエーテルを用いた供試製剤7では得られなかった。したがって、供試製剤1〜6による高い汚垢除去効果は、特定の炭素数のアルキル基を有することで特異的に認められる効果であり、特に油脂や澱粉による食物残渣に対する汚垢除去効果において優れるものと考えられる。なおこの他の成分ではいずれも汚垢除去率は低く精製水と同程度であった。
